Such a positive experience with both Nathan, and Luke coming into our newly purchased Hamilton Mountain home on 2 separate occasions to help us get some lights working, some switches controlling the correct fixtures, as well as add new fixtures for an upstairs bathroom renovation. Nathan works extremely quickly and efficiently. They both know their stuff and are great problem solvers, and the friendliest guys! Deanne at the office is so great also - superb customer service, and you get the impression it's a very positive company culture/philosophy. My fiance and I find the pricing very fair, and they seem to be charging hardware store prices or even closer to at-cost prices for materials. We will continue to use Verhoef for the future of our home needs!

These guys rock! We had them in to add some outlets to our exterior and a flood light, but as I was chatting with Nathan, he started to ask questions on what we wanted to do outside/etc, and he was able to offer really great, practical advice to how to improve outlet placement and even add some pot lights that have transformed our living back there. Great work is one thing, but intuition and spending the time to talk to your clients to make sure they get optimal use of their home is on another level. Highly recommend!

My family moved to Jordan a few weeks ago, and based on all the positive reviews I called Verhoef Electrical to have some minor electrical work done in our home. I spoke to a receptionist who said that someone would call me later that day... no return call... called back the next day and was told the same thing.. no return call... 3rd call and I spoke to an electrician who agreed to give us a quote on September 12th @ 4p.m....no one showed! I called to find out what happened and was told that Nathan or Kevin must have forgotten as they were in a meeting. Brutal.

We used Verhoef for a reno in our pantry and Darrick was very helpful. He was flexible around our schedule and went above and beyond what we needed him to do. Rather than replacing our whole panel which would’ve been expensive, he didn’t push for the more expensive option because it wasn’t necessary at the time, he swapped breakers around to help us out. That being said when it comes time to do our next project involving electrical and replacing our panel we will 100% be using Verhoef.

This review is long overdue. Verhoef Electric did work for my parents after a loss and were extremely helpful. They were punctual and if they said they would come to do work, they were there. The electricians and owners were extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. When we'd decided to begin major renovations to our back yard and deck in 2019, choosing an electrician was a simple choice for us. We already knew Verhoef had a good name in our area, and one of their electricians, Darrick, was someone whose reputation had already preceded him. We knew he'd represent excellence with his work as well, so we made the call. For our back yard reno, there were several unique lighting projects we'd hoped to add to the back yard. And when we asked if it could be done, the answer was always "yes"! That's something a customer likes to hear... but it's one thing to say "yes", and quite another to carry that out. From the prep of laying down electrical before the concrete was poured, installation of new lights around the perimeter of our fence, adding lights to a new pergola and trellis, with some tricky factors involved, creating a way to organize all the electrical properly inside the pool shed, finding a way to install under mount stair lighting for the deck, and even under the soffit / fascia areas, everything was done in the timing promised, with an awesome attitude, and the work was truly excellent. We can't be more thankful for the beautiful outcome! In fact, we just completed a bathroom renovation as well, and because the recent back yard project had been so well done, once again, we didn't even have to think of who to ask to come and do that job as well. From prep work of heated floor details, ceiling pot lights and fan, right down to the decorative wall lights, and even taking initiative to moving a mirror for us, so it would be exactly centred - everything was over and beyond what we'd anticipated! The response time was always terrific, the work professional, the attitude amazing.... all adding up to outstanding service. Without hesitation, we'd be glad to recommend Verhoef Electric to anyone looking to make their special project "just right".
