DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. A few months back, our family used Evans to get our water heater repaired. Today, Enbridge came to replace our meter and went to the basement to check for leaks. TURNS OUT, the technician, who might I add, had to come back twice because his repairs didn’t hold, LEFT OUR gas valve LEAKING. The amount of neglect that this technician must have had to not even check for leaky gas valves is insane. Our gas valve has been leaking since the last time the technician came to our home. The possibilities of what could have potentially happened to our family and our home are terrifying. Their customer service is also terrible. The lady at the front desk hung up on me as I was trying to explain the severity of an issue like this. Am I supposed to be calm as a cucumber when just finding out our home was left like this by a supposed professional? I really wish this situation was better than it is as I liked supporting a local business but this has been a terrible experience. Do yourselves a favour and go with someone else so that there isn’t even a possibility of this happening to your home.

A couple different times in recent years we have had furnace problems and they have been solved by Evan's technicians. They are prompt and their time windows are not huge. A couple of times they have even called ahead that day to ask if they can come early (!!!). It was definitely worth it to be in their "club" when the furnace wasn't firing at night or on the weekend- saved us $$$. Some technicians are better than others, of course, but they're not afraid to send in the best ones when there is a problem. We have now had Evans come and do regular maintenance on our air conditioner. This most recent visit the technician taught me how to maintain the water pump and humidifier which had previously been neglected by us.

I was very impressed with the service of Evans Heating and cooling. Their whole process from sales to installation was done very professionally and quickly. Stephen in sales was very effective in explaining the different systems and what was right for our house,.The appointment system using text was excellent, so you knew who was coming and when. They staff were always on time as scheduled. The pricing was more competitive than other similar manufacturers. Jack and Joe were the installers and did a great job. They came a couple of days earlier than the replacement date to ensure they had all the parts and equipment required. On the installation date, they arrived on time and did a fantastic job on the installation. As a result our house feels much better with the new system, especially with an iComfort system, you can’t hear the furnace running. Overall, I would highly recommend Evans heating and cooling and the Lennox systems.

Was 38 weeks pregnant with our first baby and found out I had no heat. Called Evans heating and cooling. The can over straight away with heaters to keep us warm until we could get our new furnace and AC installed the next day. The next day three men showed up to install our new furnace and AC. They are all new duct work and worked extremely hard. They were very polite and courteous. So glad we went with them.

Called on Friday morning during the 2021 early August heat wave when it was apparent my 18 year old A/C was having a hard time keeping up. Figured it might also be a good time to replace the equally old water heater. Courteous and thorough tech inspection done and a firm quote in hand a few hours later, job booked for less than five days. J & J did a perfect job. Fair and competitive price. Excellent quality. Yesterday our 16 year old residential central air conditioning stopped producing cold air. Today I phoned Evans Heating & Cooling shortly after 9 AM and booked an appointment for later this afternoon. At 10:19 AM Evans contacted me advising the technician was in the area on another call and could attend in a few minutes. The technician appeared a few minutes later, diagnosed quickly that a new air conditioning capacitor was needed, installed the part and was finished a short while later. From the time I phoned Evans to the time my problem was solved was under 2 hours. That timing is hard to beat. Thanks for your prompt service. Now my wife will leave me alone..................

Excellent customer service and superb knowledge of heating and cooling for your home. Our newly installed AC wasn't cooling the upper level as much as we wanted. Evans sent a polite and professional technician to troubleshoot our problem. He was able to identify several areas for improvement, which we had overlooked. Duct tape in various places was torn, so he replaced it. Three vents in the basement were open unnecessarily, so they were closed. Our peculiar and undersized furnace had a sub-optimal blower for the size of our home, so he adjusted the fan speed and duration, and now the upper level is nice and cool. We learned a lot about HVAC that day! Overall, we were very impressed with the courteous office staff, as well as the excellent technician who did the AC install and adjustments. I would definitely recommend this long time, local business.

Very Happy! We have a unique heating system and needed a special combi-boiler. I had a few people over to give me a quote. Everyone who came to look at my system said they heard about my system but never worked on one. Evans service guy Jack M was the ONLY person who came over and not only new what kind of system I had, he also had experience with them. Jack M is a Jedi Master at what he does.
