Not impressed with the service. Hayward came out because our heatpump wasn't working. They told us everything was shot from the compressor, to the coil inside and we needed a new $12,000 heatpump. We decided to get a second opinion from Bob's Cool Air who flipped the tripped breaker back on and told us it was in great shape, that it should run for a long time. Save your money and call a different company.

Well what can I say about Haywards Healthy Home Solutions you ask??? I'll gladly tell you. I'd recommend this company 24/7/365 to anyone anytime that asks me about them.....even if they called me at 3am, I'd still help out. The owner, Russell Hayward, is a top notch person and is down to earth who will gladly speak to all people about the benefits of owning a LG Mini Split Heat Pump. Their products are of the highest quality and are researched and developed to the highest standards that meet the demands of our Atlantic Canadian climate. I live in a smaller 2 bedroom house with my wife and son, the salesman never once tried to upsale me on a higher BTU unit than what I needed and will tell you where the proper placement should be located to reach the maximum efficiency of the machine. The installation is immaculate and the only service you preform yourself is wash the 2 filters under a tap with luke warm water. The other service (if any) is done by the best LG trained techs in the province. Developers from South Korea routinely visit Haywards Healthy Home Solutions to get feedback on how the machines are operating. It's my personal opinion that South Korea and Haywards truly care about and believe in the products that they are selling, and for that I'll always go to them because their service is second to none; plus they're always on time. Once the service tech arrived, Lindsay, he found the issue quickly and was kind and professional as well. My unit is fixed and it was under warranty. Good company to work with!

They didn't show up when I had scheduled, no phone call, no messages left, never returned my calls following that, never offered to correct their mistake, just wanted to schedule me for another month later. Unreliable, unprofessional Edited to properly respond to your lies. You showed up an hour early. When I called you the following day at noon your reception knew in their notes I would not be home until past 330. You showed up at 230, and left at 249 after tampering with the cover on my outdoor unit as per my security cameras. ( I found the hornets nest too, you know the one that you didn't advise me I had and probably the reason you didn't call me back, there taken care of and I'm getting a much better company to service clean my units only a week later!) oh and I did tell you my wife worked from home from the very beginning, and that she can not leave her office because she is AT WORK. and that I wpuld be home everyday by 330.. And my neibour that you are referring to is mentally handicapped. Noone called, noone followed up, noone confirmed the appointment. And noone called to see what had happened, even after I left a voicemail the prior day asking to find out what was up. I wanted my units cleaned, they were installed before we bought the house and your company was aware of this, you told me it was no problem. I waited over a month for you to not show up on schedule and then lie on your Google review reply, the best you offered me was waiting another month for service, no sorry, no explanation, extremely bad customer service. Instead of being so diligent in returning Google replies, try actual customer service. Your company is a rip off, don't bother waiting for this company to show up, they might but not on time and they will lie about everything. Read all the reviews.. There are alot of upset customers.

I got a quote from Hayward last May to install 3 mini-splits and gave them a $100 deposit. A week later my wife and I decided not to have it installed last year as she was going to school, and we couldn't afford it, so I called Hayward and talked to the salesman that came out to our place and told him of our situation and he passed me onto the front desk clerk to have him refund my money. It took 3 weeks for them to credit my card. A few weeks later I noticed I had a $10,000 credit card bill and Hayward charged my credit card for the installation. So having the problem getting my deposit back I elected to report the fraud to my credit card company. A few weeks later I had a phone call from the owner asking me why I would call the credit card company to report the fraud after they have installed the 3 mini splits. After arguing with the owner 3 or 4 times telling him that I cancelled the order in which he did not believe me, I just hanged up. They have since called me back twice asking me if I wanted to add extended warranty to the 3 mini-splits that they didn't install. I told them never phone me again and take me off your calling list. Buyers Beware a very shady company. It appears that the salesman didn't want to loose his commission.

We had two heat pumps installed on Oct 22,2019. I started calling on Oct 23,2019. I spoke with Russel Hayward( he said someone would be there we were away on the date he said someone would be there but my husband said he would come home to be there . Russel said oh no we will schedule another time. So when we started getting upset he says oh you were not going to be home when we wanted to come . That’s a lie so I guess he will say anything to sell products. He is not a man of his word and when backed into a corner gets very unprofessional). That the one heat pump was not working correctly. a maintenance guy came once said we needed a part installed after 3 weeks of waiting to hear when it would be replaced . I was told by their service department that there was nothing written on the invoice to be replaced. They just want to sell the units and do not want to maintain them. DO NOT USE this company! I do not recommend I clicked on the one star but I done even give them that. I even spoke with Russel Hayward which is suppose to be the owner.Keep everything documented as I have done. Looking into legal action next I am done begging a company to keep up on their end of an agreement.

I purchased LG mini split heat pumps many years ago before Haywards was in business and when I had an issue, the original company I bought from was out of business. Hayward's took great care of me as if I had bought the unit directly from them. They have the expertise, training and friendly staff to help you with every step. I've since purchased 2 other mini splits for my apartments and the tenants are delighted! They were both installed great considering the thickness of the walls and the stucco they had to drill through behind the siding. I'll be buying some more from them in the next building purchase. I'm very glad to deal with Haywards!!

Every bit of the experience with Hayward's was nothing but positive. I had 3 mini splits installed in my 3 level home. Every other quote I received, the contractor's wanted to place my bedroom level mini split where it was the easiest access for them. Hayward was my first quote and they took the more difficult route and insisted they put the mini split where it would be most effective. This meant the installer had to work in a very confined attic space to hook up the piping and wiring. The quotes were all competitive, but Hayward's choose to not cut corners, which won them the job. I highly recommend Hayward's!

We had someone come in April 2021 to clean our AC mini split. We requested a FULL service, any repairs that needed to be done and maintenance since we newly purchased the cottage. Gentleman seemed to do a good job although he forgot to replace the filters and I had to finish cleaning those myself. Not a big deal. When the first hottest week hit in the summer (July) and we finally had to use it, the air conditioner unit started leaking (condensation) so we called them again to come up. They couldn't come right away so it was Aug when they came. The drain line was plugged with the same gunk they cleaned out the first time. When I asked why the lines were not cleaned, I was told *NOBODY DOES THAT* as part of a deep clean. I reminded them that I had asked, in April, for a complete service, check up and cleaning. They said they only clean the coils with such a service. He also added (for extra measure I guess?) that I cannot prove that the gunk came from them cleaning it in the first place. Which is an astounding and very defensive statement. So they want to charge me the full service cleaning for the second visit. Quite frankly, I found it hard to believe they would not automatically clean the drain pipes as by cleaning the coils, it is highly likely they can get clogged as everything washes through. Sure Enough I CALLED the first two companies that came up as a google search to find out what their deep cleaning services include. BOTH told me the drain pipes are included, especially with a coil cleaning since the gunk can flow down into them. So. There you have it folks. Don't call Hayward. Call places like Hydrokleen or Bob's Cool Air or check with any others. It is a LIE that other cleaning companies do not flush the drain lines when they clean the coils. It is actually a *Best Practice* and Hayward won't do it for you. EDIT SINCE MANAGERS REPLY - we asked for a FULL service along with cleaning from April which was not provided. Just a regular cleaning. The amount of black gunk that came out, I would expect that a company that I had given full rein to do whatever was needed would have done it in the first trip. Money was not an issue. NO ONE explained any issues or what else should be done... I have kids who need clean air and I was ready to pay to get whatever was needed done in April. The unit is old and we did not know what the previous owners did to it. The people they rented to smoked heavily. We knew it needed a thorough cleaning and we expected exactly that, along with a full service and replacement of whatever needed replacing. This would have saved us extra labour and transportation costs to get it all done in one shot. I have no issue paying for parts but you did not come up and do what we asked in April. We have two air conditioning units and it was not necessary to use the split until the hottest days came up towards the end of July. Your tech came in Aug. My husband spoke with someone in August when we received the invoice. His first question was what is included in a cleaning and it was explained...including the drainage. When he brought up that we had someone there in April, whoever we were talking to suddenly back-pedalled and said, well, it depends ect ect. I heard him say at that time we would not pay for something that should have been done in the first place. Now, if there is a difference between flushing a drain and cleaning, that certainly seems like splitting hairs, here. Stating to me today that *I cannot prove that the gunk came from the cleaning in the first place* -- well you got me there. You are right. I cannot prove that, now can I? I trusted to be fully informed and that what we had requested was completed, including the servicing. Don't worry, you will get paid. Despite what I said about not wanting to pay for something that should have been taken care of in the first place, its not worth it. There are plenty of other companies out there. And we need a new mini-split.

In the last few years, we met one of the salesman at the home show in Fredericton. He came over to the house which we purchased a LG heat pump. A few months later, we moved to Dieppe and purchased another LG heatpump from them. Great machines that is very economic on hydro. During the installation of our second heat pump, the installer mistakenly drilled a hole (the size of my fist) through an electricity cable onto the side of my house, which then required him to drill a second hole next to it. It was an honest mistake on behalf of the installer. To cover up the first hole, he sprayed some insulation foam and advised us he would be a few days after to fix up the hole and put some siding to cover it so it doesn't leave a random fist size hole on the side of our house. A few days passed without this being done, I spoke with Mr Hayward who apologized and advise this would be done soon. Months passed and still was never done. I called a few times after and they disregarded my request in fixing the damage that was done to my home. They are a nice little business that is great at pre-sale, post-sale was a very bad experience showing no care for us since they got my money. For that, I would never recommend their business. I since built a few homes and went with another business that is great at post-sale. The reason why I am giving them 2 stars is because the first house went good with no issues.

From start to finish the process was professional, knowledgeable, competent and experienced. This is a company that really knows what they are doing. The installation of three units took around 8 hours in total because they had to add another electric panel. Even with drilling and hammering, the installation process was very quiet and I literally forgot they were even there. The installers were so polite and took great pains to keep everything clean even when it was raining cats and dogs outside. I was so impressed by their dedication and patience. After a number of years himming and hawwwing, about a purchase of a heat pump(s), mostly because we have a “true” log home and I was concerned about installation, through my cousin and cousin in law, we contacted Hayward Healthy Home Solutions. From the moment Rob Poirier, the sales rep, arrived, through his detailed explanations and his recommendations for placement, we were comfortable. After a follow up visit we signed on the line! Next came a call from Russell Hayward, owner, expressing appreciation for our business and confirming the installation date. Then there was Steve, the installer. Wow! He arrived early and left late, and all the while with a smile and concern for our happiness of the job. After all we purchased 3 units and he was alone. Remember folks this is a “true” log home, with each log being a different circumference, and no flat surfaces. This again was followed up by a call from Russell Hayward, to ensure we were pleased. And finally, from the follow up team who arrived last evening for some minor completions, and while I failed to get their names for which I apologize, both were polite, knowledgeable and customer oriented. We experienced a failure in 1 of our 2 units, we had a technician come to clean the units, and when he was inspecting the upstairs unit he recognized that the unit had a leak in the coil and most if not all the gas had leaked out. Instead of cleaning that unit he had called to get the unit replaced. The price was adjusted and another appointment was needed to get the parts necessary and installed. The guys that showed up at the second appointment were extremely fast with the install. The unit was to be covered by the warranty, but the manufacturer does not cover the cost of install. After the unit was installed I called the Hayward and spoke to Russell, he informed me that I was not going to be charged the 75$/hr as it was from misuse but an issue with the equipment. All the service technicians were fast, friendly, and knowledgeable.

John came in and did his thing and now our unit is running like new. Not only did he do a great job cleaning it, he also provided a few quick tips that will help us keep it running for alot longer hopefully. I highly recommend not hiring this company they demand high prices for substandard service. I found the sales rep to be professional, polite and respectful. That was where the positive experience ended. The install was a disaster the techs were unprofessional certified amateurs. They installed the heat pump in the wrong location after being instructed prior to and during the install. The unit arrived damaged according to them (the casing was bent) they decided not to mention the damage and use untreated scrap wood from around my yard to complete the brackets. The owner of the company kept telling us they would do what ever it took to make us happy. He told us they would pay to have our house cleaned after the tech drilled an unnecessary hole through a concrete wall from the inside in our living room with no dust control, also no warning about the loud noise for the family with young children but he did not. He promised he would have the large hole in the drywall fixed but he did not. He said he would replace the damaged pump casing he did not. He did send techs to replace the first set of hanging brackets they incorrectly installed and to install bolts to hold the heat pump down instead of tiny self tapping screws. I have been informed by a former employee that Russel Hayward will fire customers that cost him too much so I don't expect much from my extended warranty.

Hayward’s installed a Panasonic 12,000 BTU Mini Split today. The installers were on time. They explained what they were going to do before starting. Both tech’s were friendly and knowledgeable. Professional in their manner and followed Covid Regulations. Workmanship was tidy and neat. They cleaned up the exterior and interior to my liking. Spent a proper amount of time after the install explaining how to use the unit. Cleaning filters and recommended settings for maximum efficiency. We had four mini-splits installed on the same day. There were 2 installed through the basement walls and 2 installed through the brick walls of the main level of our house. The power was turned off for most of the day and an emergency generator used to power the drills. I was very impressed with how quickly each unit was installed and the cleanup afterwards. On Monday we called We an issue with our downstairs mini split making a strange noise. On Tuesday John arrived right on time and fixed our small problem. Then he took the time to check both our mini splits. They are 4 years old now and see a lot of use for summer cooling and winter heat. John detected motor bearing wear in both of them so he replaced them. And a sticky louvre. He was friendly and efficient. Investing in heat pumps is a big decision and not one i took lightly. I did my homework, researched, had quotes from a lot of different providers and settled on Hayward Healthy Home Solutions for a few reasons. The team was extremely knowledgeable and honest about what the most efficient set up for our home would be and explained why, other providers all tried to oversell the install to many systems or bigger systems when they where not required. Once the install took place the Hayward staff was professional, polite and clean, drop cloths where used during install, complete cleanup and configuration and took the time to walk us through how to clean, maintain and use the units installed. Overall i will and have recommend Hayward Healthy Home Solutions to anyone and wont hesitate to be a repeat customer myself. Great experience, extremely happy with the product, service and the units we installed.

I'm not saying that I wouldn't recommend this business. I had 2 heat pumps installed in 2018 and they work really well in Winter. I'm sure they saved me dollars since I didn't have to use my baseboard heaters, but the positives stop there. This summer one of them in my living room was first of all dripping water inside my home instead of putting it outside. Apparently that was a result of careless installation. This July 28, 2020 that same unit broke down. After several calls I got an appointment that they missed without notification. Three days later they showed and determined that the compressor was the problem and need to be replaced. It's now August 24 and I still don't have the compressor replaced while enduring some of the hottest days of summer. I fail to see where the Red Carpet service is presented.

Stay away. 3 different times were told they would call me back. They didn't. Promised installers would cover floor and clean up afterwards. Instead had 3 installers walking around my house in their work boots. Blamed dog for the mess they made. Owner, instead of taking responsibility and paying 50 bucks for someone to clean floors, insisted installers did nothing wrong. And the kicker was they didn't have enough tubing to finish the job. Promised they would call the next day to reschedule. They didn't. Boken promises and poor customer service.

Bought a unit two years ago from this company. Salesman and install crew were top notch. Fast forward two years, in order to maintain warranty unit has to be serviced. We called Hayward, no response back. We emailed Hayward, no response back. We commented on a Hayward post on FB with regards to our concern to which Russell deflected and claimed he had responded by email ( he didn’t ). He also stated we were on a call back list. That was two weeks ago. To summarize, we are a month into initial attempt to contact and still no response. Horrible customer service, horrible follow-up procedures. Hate to see what kind of response a broken unit would bring. Do not use these guys

After installation by Hayward, the heat maintained a comfortable 16 degrees all winter long. With the mini split I had air conditioning in the summer months...A bonus! Because of the heat pump I used the winter house more often and with all this extra comfort, I actually saved exactly $236.00 over the exact 12 month period! Superior solution to traditional heat source! Service is equally superior! I have 3 mini splits due to size and layout of home. These puppies have saved me a great deal of money not to mention time, effort and headaches. Purchased in 2014 and will make every effort to avoid baseboard heating! Clean heat in winter and cool home in summer while avoiding installation of expensive air conditioners! Was told by some they may freeze in winter however this has never happened, even at -35! First off , let me be clear of an important note, my system was not originally purchased from this location, but my contact relocated to Hayward’s so I contacted him there. So, Hayward’s had no actual obligation to take on a VERY INTENSIVE service/repair/warranty issue. BUT... This company went OVER AND BEYOND, in my opinion in taking care of an LG mini-split, that unfortunately was a problem setup all around. They covered 100% of ALL costs, not that all cases would be deemed to be worthy of this extreme action but in this case Denis A. and Russell Hayward, in conversation with me and LG, Russell sent Joel & Doug to my place , 150 km away, and relocated my outside unit to an entirely new location. The job looked CLEAN AND STRAIGHT. The courtesy of the two installers was top notch, the mats layed through the house where they would be when changing my inside wall unit under warranty was a very thoughtful touch. Cannot stress how this whole process yesterday happened in such an appreciable way. I know the costs associated with this complete gutting , moving and replacing of my ENTIRE system was never going to be fully recovered from LG, but Hayward’s took it upon themselves and I cannot be more appreciative. Ask for Joel as a bonus, I was IMPRESSED, with his attention to detail, probably shouldn’t say that but I did anyway, THANK YOU.

First off let me start that I had a great impression from the salesmen and install staff. But after that it was nothing but misery, a year after the heat pump was installed it broke. Toke 5 months to get parts after constant run around of never being called back, their system losing my contact info and the owner going on holidays. Finally parts come in and Bob the tech came out and did a great job fixing the unit, he then calls me back a couple days later to tell me for all the inconvenience he will refund the service fee(rightfully so I thought after that long a wait but he volunteered it I never asked for it). Fast forward to couple months later after leaving 3 messages for a call back I never got it, I call the shop again and get the owner and he says that refunds dont happen for service calls and its not his fault their systems crashed and it toke so long. Being in the military its a small world and will be sure this experience is shared with alot of guys looking to buy. Thanks Bob for the service but I apologize I have to take any further business and any referrals elsewhere.

When we were renting a home there was 2 LG mini splits in it from Hayward's and we loved the heat they provided in winter and cool in the summer. We never had any issues with them. We said once we have our own place we will be getting one installed if there was none in our home we decided to buy. Well the time came and we bought our home and there was none in it. We had an estimate done and had an LG 18000 prestige installed within a month of buying the home. It has been a great experience from the quote, to the install all the way to having the machine serviced when needed. I would and have been recommending Hayward's any chance I can.

We did a little shopping around and decided to go with the LG unit from Hayward’s in Riverview. From initial contact with the sales rep (Aaron) to the very end, it was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered. First of all, they were here the day they said they were coming, (which never happens) they were efficient, their crew was extremely friendly, felt like family by the time they were done. I had called this company to help me our with my mini split heat pump, they told me a technician could be there on a Friday afternoon. I booked off that afternoon off for work which no technician shown and at 3:00 I called to ask if a service technician would be coming, the receptionist told me the technicians were in a meeting and would call me back, this 3 weeks later and have not heard back from Haywards. Maybe someone from Haywards will call me tomorrow but I'd doubt it. I would not recommend Haywards professional assistance. Thanks for nothing!
