Better get your warranty info on video because there employees don’t know what’s going on and just feed you complet lies. Bought something in Jan/17 brought it in aug/17 returned it after looking up saying I had 5 year warranty(and no not their geek squad warranty) and said if it ever breaks down to bring it to bestbuy, well low and behold I needed to bring it back.... and guess what the guys working tell me that they would never do that even though I had all my receipts from when I returned it the first time and they tell me itsits 30 day warranty completely worst customer service from the moncton New Brunswick location, first let me return it, lie to me, then refuse me and give me the run around with phone numbers that no one awnsers and the voice recording says to email it won’t even put me in a Line for me phone call to be answered..... don’t buy here unless you like throwing away top dollar with absolutely no warranty !

Seems to be the location that head office forgot. It was originally a Future Shop, and it looks like there hasn't been a single update/upgrade since the original Future Shop was built. Other Best Buy locations seem more modern and dynamic.

Great store to buy electronics if they are in stock. If they have to order it in then don’t waste your time. Ordered a laptop and paid in full. Was told almost a week later that it was delayed. So I asked for my money back and they refused. They insisted they had to receive the laptop into their inventory before they could give me a refund. WELL THEY HAD NO PROBLEM TAKING MY MONEY IN THE FIRST PLACE FOR SOMETHING THAT WASN’T IN STOCK!! BUYER BEWARE

Tim was highly unprofessional, rude, insulting and arrogant. If I could give less than 1 star I absolutely would. Highly recommend going absolutely anywhere else for absolutely anything they may possibly have to offer. Worst service I have ever received.

Likely the largest retailer in town for electronics. The days of needing massive retail locations is on a downward spiral with a few exceptions. I can't help but think that Best Buy doesn't need this much retail space with so much being bought online these days. I think in the future we'll see something the slightly bigger than "The Source" with a medium sized retail area, but be a primarily focused on pickup/return center for online purchases. With that being said, the staff don't hover over you like vultures from when this named FutureShop. There always seems to be enough staff if you need help and in recent years they've lowered the shelving height so if you do need assistance you see across the store. The selection of merchandise morphs with trends as well. If they even have car audio, it's 1/10th of what they would have had 20 years ago. I think they still have a small DVD section, but the store is focused on computers/TV's, wifi/smart products and portable audio and some appliances.
Nice large store for electronics devices at Moncton. It is such a blessings for the people living at Moncton. Their return policy is always best in Canada. I Purchased a Google Mini last week and had some issues with that. They helped me at each possible way. Thank you so much for your help.
Now that they have moved away from commission based selling the staff has gotten less pushy. They are still however a little too in your face with upselling.

Your typical big box electronic store. The selection is huge, and the customer service is bad either. This nice thing about this store is having most of the products on display, you can try it out by listening or feeling the item in your hands. I like being able to see and test something before I decide on a large purchase. Only negative thing i can point out is their pushing the extended warranty on every purchase, but it's their job, so what can you expect.

Look, the staff is very friendly and welcoming at a surface level (at least from my experience), but i think that their tech knowledge gets to their head. they try and sell you the most expensive and overkill option for a simple task that you could save money on, maybe for the commission, I don't know. i recently had a friend who got sold a 60$ charger from BestBuy, only for it to have the battery implode within the first 6 months. he checked out the reviews of the same charger on amazon, and every single review shared the same complaint. If you were thinking of buying from BestBuy, I would suggest doing your research and maybe going onto amazon.ca or newegg.ca for anything tech related.

Was in to look at a few items. I found what I was looking for but it was locked in a case. The six or so employees that were standing around talking to each other were of no use to me. After asking for assistance, I was told someone would be with me shortly. Some slug of an employee with slick hair and shiny shoes came over and told me that no one in the store had a key to the cabinet. Then, he just walked away. No questions, no comment, just walked back to the corner he came from. I would have gotten better service from one of the iRobot Roomba vacuum cleaners.

Went into Moncton store for sale item (Bluetooth sound bar) none in stock. Said they had some in Fredericton. Went to Fredericton, they couldn't find it. Said there were more on order and to come in Tuesday. Came back Tuesday and still nothing came in. Felt as though I was being brushed off. Went to Costco and bought a superior speaker anyway, so it worked out for me.
You emergency need to buy a cellphone and come inside to check and see what you would like buy but you can't entering inside ! You just have to buy and pay full in advance online and coming pick up an item than you absolutly don't know what is this .... WAOH ! Best Buy used to stock more (especially with network equipment and computer peripherals). The staff are not trained to handle business questions without going through "Best Buy Business" which is inconvenient. For me I would prefer to shop online, but when you are in a bind having local stock for equipment is essential. Sadly, Best Buy only stocks lower end consumer computer equipment, especially from the small business point-of-view. As for the store itself, it is well located, plenty of parking and a good size. The staff are courteous.

My review is more for a Geek Squad member, I believe his name is Amen (I hope I spell it right) although I've always had good service at this best buy. Anyway I was having issues with a new external hard drive, I couldn't get my laptop to connect to it, I tried multiple things, and thought maybe it was defective, Amen was great, very polite, calm, and professional, he fixed some weird issue (a default setting in the hard drive) and I was on my way. I'd love it if a manager at this location could give this guy some extra recognition, good employees are hard to find and this guy was great. Thank you.

I placed an order of 4 items. Best buy double charged me for one item.. ive sent emails.. and spoken to 3 different people who all gave me different answers. I still don't have my money back and customer service agent was extremely rude and mumbled everything they said to me. Perhaps the entire team should be on the same level so customers aren't getting a bunch of different answers.. especially when its involving missing money during the holidays. I'll probably never order online from best buy again.

This Best Buy Location isn't to bad. But they do have some empty locations and I was unable to find a specific product that I was looking for in store anymore. So I will have to go to another one or order the item online. Not a big deal but it does mean I can't give it a 5 Star. Staff are friendly but not always ready to assist.

Employee at best buy in moncton straight up lied to me about the warranty they sold me. They told me that within a year I could return the computer no matter What, even if I just didn't like how it looked. They said if there were any issues then they would just give me a new one. Sure enough the computer started crashing right away, and I only use word on it for work I don't do anything else. I brought it in to the best buy in Fredericton and they told me that none of this was true and they can only give me a new one if there were one of 3 things wrong with it. They said they MAY be able to fix it buy it may take over a week, where I need my computer for work twice a week this is unacceptable. I can't believe that this employee lied right to my face to sell this to me. However I'm thankful for the honesty from the Fredericton best buy and how they tried their best to help me. If I could Give a negative star I would.

I have never been to any establishment where not one staff member greet the customer. Three service reps waiting on one customer, still never acknowleged other customers waiting for service. Waited 5 minutes before I had to ask if there was anyone working on the returns counter. An associate was paged to the counter, turns out one of the three finally came over to do their job. Funny when it's time to buy, someone is always offering assistance. Not impressed.

Last evening myself and two others were looking at buying a new television and faced unjust discrimination due to our youthful appearance. One of us, a newly employed engineer in the city, was the potential customer. There were 4 sales associates present in the home entertainment department who were helping other customers but never once approached us. In fact they would glance our way and immediately turn around and approach other customers, at times they would even be talking amongst themselves and laughing, not once trying to help. We were there 20 minutes to no avail. Needless to say, we took our business elsewhere. Your sales representatives should never assume a person cannot afford something based on their appearance. Shame on Best Buy.

The place is ok. One of the few places to get console paraphernalia. Even stuff ebgames isn't carrying, such as controllers or the USB > Bluetooth adapter. Though the sheer amount of garbage on the lot spilling out into the brook behind the building was staggering until NBCC did their community service day and cleaned it all up. Hopefully they fix their garbage dumpsters so they are not polluting the place with garbage.
Bought Samsung tablet at full price and after 3 months there was an issue using it with Rogers sim card. They didn't even try solve it.

Really bad experience. It began well. A happy young person said Hi at the door and gave me precise directions to where I wanted to go. Then the problems began. I wanted to buy a camera. But, the selection was ... not a selection. There were multiple empty spots for display cameras but only a couple actually on display (not counting those cheap multicoloured ones you might buy for a young teen). I asked if they had more stock. The service person seemed uncertain then suggested that he "might " be able to check. I asked him too. He didn't. I indicated that the web site suggested that there was more stock and showed cameras in stock. He asked if I wanted to talk to a manager. I asked "would that help? Could he or she get me more stock?" He said "no, it won't help." I asked why they had such little stock on view. He said "it is the camera companies fault" and left. So, no stock, unhelpful person who at least had the merit of admitting no one was going to help me. I went downtown to Ivan's and bought the camera I wanted so it ended well, but, honestly, I would not go back on the basis of this experience.
I head gotten a repair done on my laptop few months ago and after they told me it was going to be under warranty and when I went to pick it up they changed me 235$ for a small repair they said was under warranty

Do not buy a computer at this Best Buy. Not only did I find out they lie to their customers and sell refurbished laptops as brand new, but they also tried to scam more money out of me by telling me my warranty wouldn't cover my 6 month old laptop that stopped turning on. They tried their best to make the issue seem super complicated to convince me the warranty wouldn't cover it, so I contacted the manufacturer myself. They cover EVERYTHING including the shipping. Best Buy are a bunch of scammers that have absolutely no problem lying to their customers to squeeze more money out of them.

These days I find I buy most of my electronics and tech stuff on the internet (Amazon in particular). They aren't the worst store, but often they don't have quite what I'm looking for, and some of their products are way overpriced ($50 HDMI cables for example). I also really don't like how they push expensive unnecessary extended warranties. Even after I explained why I didn't want the extended warranty, the sales guy still argued why I should get it. I'm still giving them three stars though because I bought my TV from them, and I'm still quite happy with it.

Went in there today to purchase an iPhone 12. Great store and great service. Very helpful staff. Keagah is the guy who helped me. Very professional and very respectful towards customers. He is extremely patient and very helpful. Took the time to explain everything to me before I bought the iPhone. Definitely recommend talking to him if you're going there to purchase anything. Will be going back there when I activate the phone. If you're looking to buy electronics, this is the place to shop at. My favorite electronics store in the country.

WORST SERVICE EVER I order online in August 4th and they charge our card on day one, we are now end of September and they are telling me that they don't have the product in stock. Even though they show it available online, the rep. told us the website wasn't updated regularly. They surely took their time to notice this and enjoy my money for 2 months before offering a reimbursement. WE WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN.
Big box computer store. Lots of prepacked product but a little on the empty side here in the city. Also if you need advice or parts you're better off elsewhere as the only sell new boxed product.
They didn't have any knowledge of the smart watch I was asking about, or any demos
Went there to buy a new laptop. I was very clear about what I needed this laptop for (basic use) the sales associate not only talked down to me and my mother (who was there with me) and tries to upsell a $400 laptop to a $1200 price point. Then she had the nerve to accuse me of looking for something for free, which I was not. She not only tried to over talk me and convince me that I needed something I didnt need, she was rude and huffed off when I called her out on it. If you plan on going here, I suggest you know exactly what you want and stick to your guns on it. I don't mind spending money towards an investment but these guys will just try to suck extra money out of you on stuff you might not necessarily need. Example: after advising her I did live in town and had no internet connection she tried to push a home automation system on me. The sales reps DO NOT listen to the consumer they seem to have their own agenda in mind as to what you need.

Why even shop here when you can get better prices anywhere else? The instore help is of no help at all, they're practically glorified stock checkers and they wouldn't even match the price(Sale) they themselves had online on their own website.

Bought the Smooth-- Talker Cell Phone Booster. It is unreal. I was getting no more than 1 bar off my cell in my home now I'm getting a 5 bar connection. I highly recommend the item.

Went in for a specific item. The person at the door pointed me in the right direction. Went to the item and needed to ask an associate a question. One was busy chatting with a friend. Finally got his attention and he pointed me to the middle of the store saying that he thinks the other item is over there. Went there and 3 associates were helping one customer. Got assistance from another one and he was helpful. He mentioned that the exact item was not in stock but I could pay for it there and pick it up in the next province over as they had 5 in stock. I asked if they would be holding the item as the one in Halifax I'd 3 hours away and he said they don't hold items longer tha 24 hours. Whole thing was not very pleasant.

I was shocked on the level of service I have received from Best Buy. I was not a fan of Future Shop as was not willing to go in to Best Buy until I heard from friends about their experience. I have bought a lot of things from them in the last year for myself and work but in the last month I have gone in at least 12 times for some big purchases and the staff really go above and beyond to help ensure you get what you need and not just try and make a sale. I am very happy with their level of service.

The staff are not overly helpful. I typically have to go ask someone for help after standing in front of the item I want that is behind a locked cabinet for 5 or more minutes. Items are typically on low stock as well. Sadly, its easier to buy online since the store switched from Future Shop. Needs improvement.

Went in for a VIP night with a scheduled appointment to talk to someone. Even had a phone call earlier in the week confirming my time. Got there at my time and no one was there to help me. Waited 15 minutes for my salesperson to come for my "scheduled" time. No one came. Finally flagged someone down to help me who told me the product was sold out and to just go order it online. Big waste of my time and very poor customer service. Will only shop online now and never in the store. I was not impressed!
Good store for electronics but nothing special. There are better spots in town for high quality electronics. The reason for 3 star rating is because of the service. There always seem to be a lot of employees and even though they are not supposed to be comissoned based, they can be somewhat pushy. The expertise is hit or miss, a few times I've dealt with people that knew their stuff but a lot of times, the staff reads from the signs in front of the product and I cam do that on my own.
Good products and prices. Double check technical information staff gives. It isn't always right.
Every time I go at best buy I find unless you want to buy something that second that you are a bother.

After a lot of thought I went to Best Buy to purchase my first gaming PC. After telling the associate that I was new to PC gaming, instead of asking me what my wants and needs were, he proceeded to tell me that i was better of buying an Xbox and not to waste my money on a PC. Made me feel stupid with his 5 minute explanation of why I didn’t need one, without any other questions besides “is it just for gaming”. What he didn’t realize was I was ready to easily drop $2000+ on a nice set up. I promptly left. This associate was also a supervisor. Poor move on his part

Tried to return defective earbuds and was informed earbuds are not returnable because of "government regulation". I understand that due to reasons of hygiene, earbuds can not be resold but that isn't any excuse to not refund my money for a pair of earbuds where only one side works. They should have returned my money and scraped the defective earbuds. I'm out $28 but Best Buy has lost a customer. There are plenty of other retailers in town that I don't need to deal with Best Buy BS.

This was the second time my wife and I went to Best Buy on Plaza Blvd to purchase an item. Last night we were standing in the tv section looking to be attended too. There was 5 employees walking around by us. It was obvious we were looking at purchasing a tv. Not 1 staff asked if we needed any help. Actually had 1 staff member look directly at me and then walked by us like we we're there. We walked out after 15 to 20 mins frustrated. Then went to Costco where the service was great and appreciated our business. We purchased a LG 75" the exact tv we wanted to purchase at Best Buy. This was our last time trying to shop where customer service was terrible for the second time in a row.

Most of the people here act like you're asking for the world if they actually have to help you or look something up. There is the odd one every now and then that is actually pleasant and helpful but that is not the norm.
Clerks are overly aggressive and only interested in upselling. I went in to pick up an online order and they brought it three other peoples' orders to me before finding the right one. Good prices on big ticket items but you'll get raped on items like batteries and cables - get those things elsewhere.
Don't shop there a Christmas cause the staff is not train properly and they say anything to sell you something. I learn the hardway.

Terrible!!! Looking for a smart watch. Found one with all the things I needed. CSR refused to let me try it on, and had no examples for me to check weight or feel. I was expected to buy it unsealed and without even looking what the actual product was.
