On Time Plumbing helped my business to get permits and open on time! After months of delays as we went through TWO other plumbers who were unable to complete the work or the process of permits, we were finding ourselves (and our other contractors) to be facing big delays. I called On Time - because of their name! I needed to get back on schedule. They were able to do the job - and they started immediately. Adam from On Time did an amazing job and was so professional. Besides being super punctual and getting the job done according to schedule, the thing that really impressed us was the permit and inspections process! While inspections can be nerve-racking, with Adam on our team we were unstoppable. Adam had the code book open when the inspector came, and was thoroughly prepared for every question the inspector had. Best inspection ever! We have now been open for three months and the new plumbing has been working perfectly. Don't waste time, call these guys if you want a professional job done and on time!!
Our furnace quit working and we had called another company to come and their quote was close to $800 and couldn't fix it that night. We were referred to On Time and worked with them. We worked through options to purchase a new furnace but weren't quite ready to buy at this point. On Time sent one of their guys to come look at the furnace and fixed it for a fifth the price we were quoted by the other firm. We recommend On Time for any work you need done and will be buying a new furnace from them for sure in the fall. Thank you On Time..
Worst company I have dealt with in a long time! I would never recommend them for anything, let alone plumbing/heating, or electrical! They were rude and argumentative the entire time! Even went so far as to blame everyone possible except their workers! It is your work, not ours, why would you even try to argue that?? This company and its owners are just terrible! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY OR THIER SHOTTY WORK ETHICS!
Poor experience with duct cleaning recently. Only one person came out for the work so my pregnant wife had to help the guy carry the large piece of cleaning equipment to our basement. The guy did a very poor job cleaning up around the vents and left a large mess behind. I expected a lot better and would caution against using On Time.

Had duct cleaning service from this company. They did a poor job setting up for the cleaning and as a result blew the dirt all over my entire house. When I reached out to the manager he quickly called his employee about it but the employee did nothing to prevent it as he continued cleaning and the damage was already done. It took 8 hours to clean all the debris from my house afterword. I have since contacted that same manager 5 times about discussing a partial or full refund due the poor service i received and now he won't return my messages. Very poor service and quality of work, and unprofessional management when dealing with customer issues.
We had knob and tube removed from our house and some plumbing work done. Not only did they remove the knob and tube, they also updated the other older wiring in our house and added a bunch of new outlets to make plugging things in easier for us - all for a competitive price compared to other companies that weren't offering as many services. Everyone was professional and friendly and the house was clean when we came home every day. We are very happy with the work that was done and would use this company again.

Emergency Plumbing. They knew right away the cause of our main floor bathroom leaking and came in and cleared the sewage in the basement. Owen was polite and was very informative about our neighborhood having the roots of the trees go into the sewage and should be cleaned out every 2 years. Thank you for the fast and friendly service!
Very grateful and impressed by On Time's excellent work and speedy service. Moved into a new place a year ago and had furnace troubles last fall. Travis came by promptly and quickly found the problems (a mechanical issue and a wasps nest in the exhaust!) he sourced a new part a great price and had us up and running in no time. This spring our water heater started leaking. With a new baby at home we needed it dealt with fast. Emmy and Scott had a new one installed first thing with no mess and no fuss. Would definitely recommend On Time. Great team!

Does NOT deserve even 1 star. Called March 20, 2019 at 5 PM. Gave my phone number and location. Was told I would get a call back ASAP. Waiting since then. 18 hours passed, no follow-up call. Service standards - TERRIBLE, DISGUSTING AND RIDICULOUS. Wish this company goes OUT OF BUSINESS very soon.
Our main panel went in the middle of the night. They were extremely forward with costs to have everything fixed and replaced. Jordan and Chris went above and beyond to help us get power back to our house. There was no surprises along the way and when they had to do something they made sure to check with me before hand about the work. Just on customer service alone I'll be staying with this company. I didn't have time to shop around for rates but in an emergency I'll be calling them first thing for anything. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking a tough situation with our first home and making it less difficult than it could have been.
I just had the best customer service experience I've had in years. My hot water tank blew up at 11:00pm on a Sunday, and we were all set up with a new tank installed less than 12 hours later. Friendly, courteous, clean and fast. Best value out there. Thanks Ty, Janice and Al for your amazing service.
Not in a rush, we recieved quotes and purchased a high efficiency two stage variable fan speed modulated Daikin furnace. The other companies were 1000 or more by quote and On Time honored a December promotion to knock off gst/pst a month and a half after the promotion ended on its advertisement. We had six quotes from all the big companies and Bob James the salesman was the only salesman to consider venting the furnace elsewhere other than the back of the house. It was a tight room with a long run (13ft)and Richard the installer found a better solution to opening up my ceiling in the available spaces with finished drywall ceilings. Richard ran the bracing and exhaust through a bulkhead that was accessible out the side of the house through a closet ceiling so no one will ever notice we had the ceilings opened. Install was clean, they tidy up our existing fresh air ventilation and capped off the roof exhaust from the old furnace like pros from the basement. I called after hours for original quote on a Sunday just to see the turnaround time on returning my call through their emergency line and I got a call back from Bob James within Four minutes Sunday evening. Bob was a pleasure to deal with he was very professional and I had made myself very well informed and had many tough questions. He answered them all clearly and professionally and assisted with the hydro application for purchase. At the end of the day the furnace we choose balanced the temperature variances in the house which was a big concern, they installed extra cold air return from basement to help air flow circulation and installed the wifi thermostat correctly. I did have an issue getting it on the wifi as I told the installer like a dummy" wifi and the manuals here don't worry about it I'm good! " but it was a phone compatibility issue my iPad got it going and the Sensi thermostat was a great call for scheduling and the app tracks when we leave the house to drop temperatures 4 degrees and tracks us to raise it on our way home. Very neat. Worth the purchase. All around pleased with this install they were on time and did not disturb our dogs or cats with loud noises and my wife was so pleased she baked them brownies for when they were done because they worked straight through lunch and were entirely happy to work that fashion.

I called On Time for a plumbing issue and they came the same day to check it out which was extremely valuable considering the plumbing issue was at my business. The plumbers were knowledgable and thought carefully about the cost ratio for the repairs. They trouble shooted very well. Together we came up with plan, which I appreciated I was included on. We had A/C installed by them after calling multiple companies to get the best deal. After calling Mike at OnTime he did his best to price match his competitors and added additional perks for us. Installion went great without a delay. Without them we would be stuck in humid conditions in our house.
The whole experience from start to finish was a pleasant one. The idea of having our entire house re-wired wasn’t a great situation but they actually made it an enjoyable one. Even when the job took longer than expected, Micah was upfront and stayed within his original quote. The entire team was professional and gracious. We would definitely use them in the future and recommend them in a regular basis.

These guys are the best in Winnipeg, my sump pump conked out at 1 am and I called 5 other "24/7 plumbers" in Winnipeg and half of them told me they'd call back and never did half of them didn't even answer but On Time answered right away and had a guy out as quick as possible, saved my basement from major flooding damage. I recently renovated my basement with On Time Electric's parent company OTG renovations. On Time Electric did all of the electrical, plumbing and ventilation work in our home. Overall I was very pleased with the service provided. All of the workers who came and went were friendly, professional and the quality of their work was up to the standard I was expecting. I will call them first the next time I need more work done around the house. Completely satisfied.
Just had a complete electrical upgrade in my home and was so impressed with Scott and Paul. Very professional, courteous, and very good with communication; always knew what to expect and what they were working on. Hard working and efficient. Would highly recommend the On Time Group!
We love our ductless air conditioner! I don't know why we waited so long! The service from On Time was fantastic. They helped us choose the right unit for our home, found the best way to route the outdoor components and followed up afterwards to make sure we were satisfied. I would definitely recommend On Time!
Dis Honest, Unethical, Very Expensive, give you a quot then use any excuse to charge you double or trippl, their technicians are all trained to do so and at the end play innocent refering you to their manager Mike who is no where to be found Do yourself a favor and stay away from these Theives
I'm current in the midst of doing home renovations and decided to go with On Time Group. They were reasonable, punctual, professional and the work was excellent. On top of that, they offered numerous solutions to some of the dilemmas I encountered during the process that I never would have thought of without their expertise. I couldn't recommend this company any higher.
I booked an appt to have my furnace maintenance done and ducts cleaned. They scheduled me for the first appt of the say at 8:30am. Upon 8:30am no one arrived. I recieved a call at 9:00 from the guy saying that "someone" had moved my appt to 10:30am that morning and he could come at 2:00pm that afternoon...uhmm that doesn't sound (On Time to me LOL) I told him that didn't work for me as I had an appt I couldn't miss. He told me he would come at 10:00am that morning. Around 10:45am I called the company to advise that the "guy" hadn't shown up TWICE now and I couldn't wait around for him to show up, I also asked them why they changed my appt as I specifically chose a day where I was the first appt of the day, They advised the appt was NEVER CHANGED!!! (and he lied go figure) They even tried calling him and couldn't get a hold of him. I received a phone call THE NEXT DAY from the guy asking if he could come....like uhmm NO you can't you literally MISSED the APPT time...LMAO which makes me laugh because they are called....ON TIME!!! definitely won't be booking with them again!
I have used them for years and have been very pleased with their service but was very dismayed when today, in the thick of the COVID-19, social isolation period, their service person walked into our home without gloves or a mask - despite claims on the front page of their website that "Our technicians will enter your home with respirators or masks... wearing gloves." Beware of policies not being in practice!
On Time.... That's is exactly what they were. Very clean and professional wth the work as well. I called with a hot water tank issue one day, and the next I had a new hot water tank installed. Can not begin to explain how good the service was. Thanks again!!!

On Time Group was recommended to us by a building trades professional who is impressed with how this company is run. He was spot on! I called On Time and was immediately transferred to Sales Rep, Bob James, with whom I made an appointment for the following morning. The next day, when Bob could tell that morning traffic might delay him by just a few minutes, he called to let me know. Once here, Bob was very thorough as he looked at the site, inside and out, educating me on options and factors to consider in choosing a new furnace He answered my questions and prepared a detailed quote. The next day we gave On Time the go-ahead and set a date. Bob outlined what we could expect on installation day. The installation team, Don and Joel, arrived on time, just like it says on the truck. They were uniformed and polite, and got to work right away. They were very easy to have in the house, and as quiet as could be expected given the nature of the job. When they were done and cleaned up, Don oriented me to the new furnace and thermostat, and programmed everything for me. A few days in, we are very happy with the performance of the new furnace, the warranty and On Time's top-drawer professional service. Our hot water tank went on the weekend. We called the On Time Group first thing Monday morning. We were told that a technician would be at our place between 9:30 and 11:00. The friendly technician was there at 9:30 and we had hot water again by 10:30. Scotty who did the install was great and didn't leave until he was sure everything was working right and all was cleaned up behind him. Both friendly and great service. Thanks On Time team.
I called On Time Plumbing and Heating, after a Roto Rooter tech broke a pipe in my Kitchen. The tech told me he would have to send a plumber to my house the next day, and they would have to cut a hole in my dining room wall to reach the pipe that he broke. When I spoke with them the next day Roto Rooter said they couldn't send a plumber out for 2 days. I was furious as it was not my fault that he broke a pipe. I immediately called On Time and they sent a plumber (Chris) to my house within 2 hours. He was professional and friendly. He managed to fix the pipe within 2 hours, without even having to cut a hole in the dining room wall. Great experience!!

Good friendly service but over priced and unclear in the charges. Charged over $300 on changing a thermocouple and thermal switch.
I had the OTG's tech's do all the mechanical work for a duplex reno. This included moving two kitchens, adding two laundry rooms, installing two hot water tanks, a new furnace, two new electrical panels, all new wiring, all new plumbing, new duct work, and on an on. There was a lot of work done. I found the whole crew really easy to work with and professional. I ran into countless issues with the city inspectors and OTG was always able to deal with them while keeping my budget in mind. I plan to use them again in the future and I would highly recommend them as well.
$5324 to screw a meter box with mast to the wall. Unreal. Price gouging while Winnipeg has no hydro. Unreal. works out to 4800 in labour for 2 hours work.
Professional, personable, and timely service for our home renovation.
I had called to get my fathers AC looked at as it was making a lot of noise. They said they would come out on Friday to look at it. The guy called my father on Friday saying it was “too cold out” (it was 17 outside). Then had said he would come on Monday (today)when the weather is 32. He then called my father saying that he was stuck in oak bluff and would be late and come around 630pm. Then he called again saying he had a “family emergency “ and would try to be there by 630 and if not then would come again on Tuesday. My father can’t be in the heat because of his heart condition. This company is extremely unprofessional. Do not hire them.
I was shopping around for quotes from multiple electricians and called On-Time Electric to get an electrician out for a quote on upgrading my service panel to a 100AMP panel. Rather than sending out a technician to inspect the system and outline any additional costs for servicing, we received a call only, giving us a price on the panel work only. The price was pretty much the same as anyone else was giving us. I called to follow-up to provide a description of the additional work some of the other contractors had already given us, only to receive an email response requesting an itemized list and they would give à la carte quotes for whatever was specified. I wasn't impressed by the lack of enthusiasm for my business. If you enjoy shopping for clothes online and not trying the on before buying, then On-Time Electrical is the right choice for you!
The above 5-star rating and comment from five years ago is being updated to reflect the poor communication we had with the company regarding our boiler furnace, which went out during the night, in cold weather. On-time advertises 24-7 service, so I called early in the morning to have them repair the furnace, at which time they indicated someone would return my call. After two hours and the temperature in the house falling to 13 degrees, I called back at which time I was told that no one is available for 6 days. I would have understood if I received a timely call and told the situation, instead of waiting while my house cools. When I asked for advice on anyone else to call, I was simply told "nope," and that was it. Definitely no comfort in service and follow-up.
On Time Group had just completed our major renovation of a new kitchen and major electrical upgrade. Electricians, Plumbing, and HVAC techs were all involved in the process and I have nothing but great things to say about the experience. All of the work was professionally done, and we were constantly updated with any work that was scheduled. Most importantly, as we were living in the house while the work was being completed, the job site was cleaned up every day. These are people who care about the work that they do, and making sure that customers are treated fairly and properly. I would recommend Tyler and the rest of On Time Group for any work, big or small, and know that you will be taken care of.
Hot water tank went 2 weeks before basement renovations were to begin (also by OTG and the tank was being replaced as part of the renos). They were able to come by an replace the tank the next day. Also had to call them about clogged kitchen drain (extra strength liquid plumber or plunger would not clear it). Had to replace rusted 60 year old galvanized clean out valve in basement to clear clog. Work was excellent and completed quickly. I will call them again when needed.

I called last week in regards to my mobile home I live within city limits. Now I am not sure who answered your phone on March 6 @ 10:38 am Do you go underneith mobile homes, I live in the city? Yes, ok good can I get a free estimate? No 80 to send a truck out. Are you sure I see you offer free estimates. No we do not,click. (she may have said bye)?!? I hear the commercials all the time. Perhaps some re-training on telephone etiquette? I called 2 other companies they came for free & my contractor made the choice of those two. I cannot comment on your "actual service" Because here is a prime example of really bad Customer Service!
Great owners and installers!! New furnace and HWT Conversion to electric went as planned. Been about 2 months and all works great. Installers were clean and respectful. All in all a great company to deal with in my opinion.
I just had my basement rennovations completed by On-Time this month. I can honestly say I had the best bunch of guys working at my house. They were so polite and very experiened in their trade. My basement looks awesome!!! Thanks guys! Kind of miss having you guys around on a daily basis. I would definatly recommend this company!!!!
Just had a 3-room split system installed on the second floor of a 105y old house. Showed on time, polite and friendly, left no trace after they were done, and great followup. Overall, excellent customer service. I would recommend Ontime.
Highly disappointing!!! I booked an appointment with this company to repair my furnace, because their service call fee was the lowest. The tech guy came after the scheduled time. He spent 10-15 min and figured out the problem. He billed for service call fee ($89) PLUS 30 min labour fee ($60), so the total came to $149 plus tax $166.88. Also he gave me estimate to fix the actual problem, which would be payable after he would fix it. I called their office to discuss about the labour fee that supposed be included in service call fee/diagnosis fee. They said, that's how they charge. But they didn't explain me this extra diagnosis fee earlier when I booked the appointment. Then I called other 5 companies (all are certified) about the diagnosis fee/ service call fee. All said, service call fee includes the diagnosis time. Doesn't matter how long it takes. The highest service call fee among those 5 companies was $139 plus tax. That means, I chose the lowest one and ended up paying the highest of all. If you would call this company and let's say they take 1 hour to diagnose the issue, you would have to pay $89 (dispatch fee) plus $120 (1hr labour) total $209 plus tax $234.08 before actually fixing your issue, whereas the expensive company in the city would charge only $139 plus tax $155.68.
Nice to have hot water again . Owen was great and knew his trade. Will highly recommend On time.

Recently purchased a Goodman furnace from the guys at OnTime Group and the service I received was excellent. They were knowledgeable and helped me choose the right furnace for my needs, not pressured into anything that I didn't. The price was great, the installers were detailed and professional. Would refer to friends and family!!
