Poor customer service. I was referred to Electric Eel by a colleague. I reached out and had to follow up with them to get a response. I booked a time for consultation and they postponed it 3x. Then they went quiet. Perhaps my residential project wasn't a priority. But I asked in my 2nd email if it's the type of work they do, and if not to refer me to someone else.

I second the below 'Excellent' review. Anthony from Electric Eel showed up promptly. Took his shoes off without us requesting it (my wife especially appreciates this!). He proceeded then tackle a tricky bathroom fan installation with a very positive can-do attitude -- even whilst piles of insulation cascaded down on his face in the process! Generally he didn't hang-around on the work; operating quickly and efficiently -- delaying his lunch to get it completed all in one go (even though the job ended up being larger than the original brief). Finally he left all the debris neatly boxed up at the end.All in all an exceedingly courteous and professional experience. Recommended.

The contact person Derrick was very professional and friendly — always replied promptly to all my emails and answered all my questions. The electrician who was assigned to me, Tony, was also very nice. He troubleshooted my baseboard first to see if it could be salvaged before opening the new one I bought. Turns out it could, and I saved a bunch of money by returning the new one. I’d definitely recommend them as they are professional, honest, and prompt.

I have nothing but praise for JF: Connoisseur, organized, methodical, polite, etc. Honestly, I would not have hoped to have better than JF to work with us. The work done was outdoors and indoors: cabling, lighting, connections to panels, setting up programmable controllers, etc. All was achieved by Electric Eel. I mostly dealt with Johnny and Jean Francois. Johnny was responsible for managing the project and intervening whenever there was a need to solve problems in coordination with other contractors. He was calm, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I was very happy during my interactions with Johnny. Jean Francois was the technician assigned to do the actual work on site. I have nothing but kudos for JF: Very knowledgeable, organized, methodical, polite etc. Honestly you cannot ask for a better person to do work at your home. Overall, my experience with Electric Eel has been very positive. I would not hesitate to hire them again for any electrical work that comes my way. Ce projet a nécessité beaucoup de travaux electriques pour lesquels j'ai engagé Electric Eel. Ces travaux étaient à l'extérieur ainsi qu'à l'intérieur: du câblage, de l'éclairage, connexions aux tableaux, programmation des automates, etc. le tout a été réalisé par la compagnie Electric Eel. A travers cette expérience j'ai eu à interagir avec Johnny et Jean François. Johnny était le chef du projet et a dû intervenir à plusieurs reprises pour coordonner avec les autres intervenants.
