I just wanted to give Kevin and everyone at Safeguard a positive review. I don't normally review businesses or anything but these guys went above and beyond. Long story short, there was an electrical fire at my residence and these guys dropped everything they were doing and came immediately to help with the situation. They even let us borrow a generator overnight to keep the furnace on so our pipes didn't freeze. After all this even their work was top notch. Super impressed with these guys; I would highly recommend them for their customer service alone. They do great work and I will absolutely use them again in the future!

Overall, Safeguard Electric is good. I had a big project to re-do the electric for a full apartment. Communication could use some improvements. Project finalization/electrical testing should be more strict. Had Kevin come in to fix some of the mistakes his guys made after finalizing was already done. Had to hire another electrician afterwards because some of the wiring and breakers were messed up and few plugs didn't work. When using them I recommend being present when they test their installation, in order to make sure everything is working properly before you pay the final invoice.

Patience displayed while waiting for Hydro One guys to finish their breakfast and show up to do their job, thus allowing him to do the actual work. Also to the admin from the company Joscelyn who co-ordinated all the details to me while I was away. She was very detailed and professional also to deal with. Highly recommended and appreciate the work. Looking forward to a power outage now so I can light up my house with power :)

I called for an electrician for an electrical issue at 2:30pm on a Tuesday. They had an electrician to my house by 4:00pm. The electrician was courtious and very professional. He fixed the problem and was gone within 15 minutes. Best part was, they said it was such a small issue, that they wouldn't charge me for service. Even though they were very busy at the time. I will definitely use them again, and I will recommend them to anyone!

Safegaurd Electric was a great experience from start to finish for my purchase for a back up generator. The owner Kevin, immediately responded to my request for a back up generator for my house, arriving the same day and provided all answers to my questions. What was great was Kevin quoted a price for all components of the installation, and the price did not change at any point during the installation. Lori, at the office was also very helpful through out. After the gas was hooked up, she was able to re-task an electrician the same day to complete the installation. This was greatly appreciated. The 2 x electricians conducting the installation, were very efficient, friendly, and competent. very nice young gentleman. I would recommend safe guard to any one who want a hassle free installation of a back up generator or other electric services. Definitely a 5 star rating.

I hired Safeguard Electric to install a backup generator and panel for my home. Kevin provided a quote for the complete job- and that is what I ended up paying once the job was done. He explained that timeline for approvals from the gas and hydro companies were beyond his control, and may take extra time before the generator could be hooked up. So I had everything I needed to know up front. (not always the case with contractors) I was not satisfied with some aesthetic aspects of the subcontracted work. So why the five star review? Because both Kevin and the subcontractor made themselves available to discuss the concern, and resolved it. Promptly and without additional cost. The gas company caused a delay because they said I needed a higher volume meter because of the new generator. Kevin did not ask for interim payments. He waited until the unit was fully commissioned and I was satisfied before sending the final invoice. In short - professionalism and integrity every step of the way. I would recommend Safeguard if you are planning to have a backup generator installed at your home or business.

Had the electricians basically re-wire our entire house, remove old knob and tube, connect outdoor outlets, outdoor lights, install new indoor lights throughout, new switches, dimmers, install/vent a bathroom fan and more.
