Colton came over on short notice on a Friday and straightened out a problem I had with lighting/switches. Was willing to go over a few questions I had about work I was wanting to be done and potential options for me as well. Very knowledgeable, courteous and prompt. Would highly recommend and will be who I call for some upcoming renovations.

What constitutes an electrical company that warrants 5 STARS? For me it is a company that is available when I need to have electrical issues resolves, which ISN'T always Monday through Friday. Colton works when you have electrical issues, pretty much 7 days a week. I needed an electrical company on Saturday afternoon, he arrived within 15 minutes of our phone conversation. 5 STARS is warranted when the issue is resolved fast and efficiently and at a reasonable cost. Colton figured out what the problem was and simply fixed it within a few minutes of his arrival. It was a minor issue, he told me so and explained simplistically why it had occurred. His call out fee of $120/1.5 hours work is the same if he comes during the week or on the weekend, with no hidden costs (I had a plumber charge me $90 call out and then mileage for travel to and from my place :( Thank you Colton for "shedding light" on my weekend, you're the BEST. I will certainly count on you in the future for both my residential and business electrical requirements.

Colton has done several small jobs at my home in Kelowna over the past 1.5 years. He is always on time, efficient, knowledgeable and gets the job done in a timely manner. He is also courteous and friendly, and I have found his charges for all work quite reasonable. I can recommend him without reservation if you have home electrical work to be done.

We were 1 day away from subject removal on our condo sale and a GFI outlet stopped working. In a panic we started calling around for an electrician. Unfortunately being a long weekend we weren’t having much luck until we called Colton at Mathieson Electric. He was fully booked but willing to squeeze us in. Colton did the wiring for a 2 bathroom renovation including a panel replacement, in floor heat, heated towel bars, under counter LED lighting, and a fancy bidet toilet needing a 20A circuit. 3 new circuits needed to be run from my basement up to the second floor to do the reno. It wasn't easy getting a path but Colton stuck with it, enabling all the reno upgrades. Colton is by far the best communicator out of all the trades I hired. He responds promptly to phone messages and emails. He also arrives exactly when he says he will. He also stands behind his work, you can trust him to be fair and honest.

We wanted to replaced our 90's box light in the kitchen with more modern pot lights. Colton at Mathieson Electric was responsive and gave us a very competitive quote. I appreciated that when he saw our kitchen he suggested additional ideas that would improve the functionality such as adding an additional bluetooth switch. The work was done quickly, professionally and we are really happy with the results.

When we decided to renovate our kitchen, we really didn't know where to start. Colton was able to give us some great ideas about lighting options and what would work best for our needs. Our house had an older existing breaker panel with two additional panels added in over the years. Colton gave us a service up grade which eliminated the three older panels and gave us one new larger capacity panel. We found him to be a very knowledgeable young man who takes pride in his work. He was always on time and when we first contacted him, he came out to see us the next day to discuss our plans. In order to keep on schedule, he was able to help us with the demolition. That being said, we highly recommend him.

Colton was great. He was clean, thorough, friendly and explained everything as he worked. We had him help with some faulty electrical in our older home and he was able to troubleshoot and solve the issues we were having. He was tidy and even helped with some extra things that I added after our initial consultation. He was able to minimize the damage to the finished drywall due to the previous faulty electrical installation. He made our home safer and more efficient for us. He was conscientious about his work and my home was tidy when he left. I will hire him again next time.
