I purchased a home that upon inspection had faulty and old aluminum wiring. Brad came out an did a thorough walk through with me and explained how things should be done to bring the house up to code and suggested a few ideas to increase the safety of the home. Once hired Brad and his team responded quickly and got to work on a much larger job than I had anticipated. We had a tight timeline and they were there to install new receptacles through out the house, re wire the kitchen. replace all light fixtures, move and upgrade our panel to 200AMP service, repair a few wires that had been cut during demolition and install new pot lights in our living room. Brad and his team did a fantastic job, were thorough, quick, friendly and always hit their deadlines. Brad was easy to communicate with whether by phone or text and willing to explain his process in detail when questions arose. Thanks for all of your hard work, we will continue to use Brad and his team whenever we require electrical work to be done and to recommend him to anyone who is looking to have work done.

Emmons Electric was hired by my contractor for a building overhaul. The work performed was mostly completed without significant issue and was performed in a timely manner. I was told by Brad that it had passed the final electrical inspection and felt it was time to part ways with the originally hired contractors for reasons other than electrical. A couple days later I received a notice from the electrical safety authority stating that someone had reported that I was performing illegal electrical work and I was at risk of being issued a $20,000 fine and possible jail sentence. Upon inquiry, I learned that the “final” electrical inspection had failed and that Emmons Electric had pulled their name from the electrical permit (despite confirming that he had been paid in full) and reported me to the ESA even though I hadn’t touched any of the electrical. It cost a couple thousand dollars more to hire another electrician to come in, fix the mistakes they made and have it signed off on. The owner, Brad, is a hot-head and threw a hissy fit, attempting to damage my business. I had no issue whatsoever with Emmons Electric and did not deserve to be treated this way. He refused to answer my calls or respond to any messages. I probably should have gone after Emmons Electric in court to recoup my losses.

Had them install new plugs, ceiling fixtures, run new lines and do a panel change for a Home renovation I'm doing, couldn't have found anyone better. During a full interior renovation, Emmons Electric replaced lights throughout our home, and installed some pot lights in out kitchen. The quality of the work was immaculate. The pot lights were especially good, and brought the look of our kitchen up to a new level. Their work was quick, and they were quite consistent for cleaning up after themselves. Very knowledgeable, positive and a strong communication as well. There was a light fixture in the basement which lost connection during floor demolition, and Emmons Electric fixed the wiring without any hesitation. They stand by the their work and are dependable. I would recommend them to anyone who wants the job done well and worry-free.

Brad of Emmons was the only company that not only called back but came the very next day . Later another company contacted me only to say that it would be over a month and did I want to schedule an appointment ... the answer was definitely no considering I didn't have a working stove ... I've been using Emmons Electric for all my electrical needs since 2016. Yesterday Brad and Alex came by to install a new outlet in the furnace room for a direct vent water heater that's being installed at the end of the month. They also replaced a faulty outlet and changed some ceiling lights for me. As always, Brad always goes the extra mile. We recently had a new furnace installed and the contractor changed the breaker for the it. I asked Brad to look at it to ensure it was done correctly, which he confirmed it was. From the first time I hired him I knew he could be trusted to ensure their work is to code. He is very meticulous about doing things the right way. I feel safer knowing I don't have to worry about electrical fires after he fixed all the issues the house had....and there were A LOT. As an added bonus our electric bill is way lower since his repairs. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my electrical needs and highly recommend Emmons Electric for any job, large or small. Based on past experiences I know not all contractors are honest or knowledgeable for that matter. Brad is "one of the good ones"...honest, trustworthy and highly experienced. And he's a really nice guy to boot!

This review is based on customer service only, as no electrical work was completed. I booked this company to do some electrical work at my home, but they were a no show. I called them afterward, and they told me to send an email to set up another date and time. 2 or 3 days later after my email, no response, so I went with a different company. Disappointed with this outcome as they seem to be great at what they do based on other customer reviews.

Pool and hot tub installation..... After calling a few electrical companies to come an estimate my job for an inground pool and hot tub hookup I decided to go with Emmons Electric. The owner Brad, was extremely helpful and polite. Brad was extremely knowledgeable and confident in his service he could supply and made my kids and wife very comfortable when he was in our home. He had taken the time to explain various options I had with regards to supplies and cost-saving measures. Brad and his employee Geoff came prepared at the scheduled time. They seemed very organized and efficient with the job they had to do. I was extremely impressed with how clean and tidy the job was. After they had finished the job they had taken the time to clean up all the little bits and pieces of wiring and other product from the job. I would definitely use Emmons Electric for any future electrical needs around my home and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an honest, hardworking and efficient electrical contractor. Wow where do I start!!! Brad (Emmons Electric) was the electrician we hired to instal our new hot tub. Even though there was an older hot tub there already, we had him out to see if the wiring was up to code. He fixed us up in no time. When we were renovating our back yard and building a pool house he was the electrician we called immediately. He and Geoff ran power into our back yard, put in a few coach lamps, put pot lights in our pool shed, and made sure we had power around the pool for music and other needs. He even grounded our fence. We live on 3/4 acre so this wasn't a small job. Once done there, we had him and Geoff out and they put pot lights all in our eavestroughs. Then we had them back because we had them wire to the end of the driveway and put in bollard lights. (not a short distance) Geoff and Braden spent all day digging by hand because we have an in-ground sprinkler system and they didn't want to damage it. Then...we had them change all the kitchen lighting. Above the counter and below the counter. They have also changed many switches to the Lutron system and showed us how to use the app on our phones. Emmons Electric has not disappointed us and they stand behind their name. They are trustworthy (because of the length of the jobs, they have been at our house alone, having full access) and dependable. O They are not just our first choice,....but our only choice!

Very unsatisfied with the owner Brad's customer service. When Jeff, the employee went to my property, I was charged almost an hour for him looking for a "to do list". I arrived forty five min. later. Brad the owner knew what needed to be done. Jeff could have started on the fuse panel, or called me and asked what to do. Jeff told me the job would be "a couple of hrs.", I was charged for 7.5. One of the interior lights that he installed flickers, as did the old one. I should think an electrician would notice this, and investigate. The exterior light that he installed is sticking out from the wall, Jeff told me to caulk it. I had to clean up, b/c Jeff had to leave. That's okay, but cut me some slack. Never really had a chance to discuss this with Brad. Just got fed up with the service, or lack thereof. The invoice that I received only after I payed by Visa C.O.D had items on it that made no sense. I was charged almost double for the permit from ESA. It's been almost a week since I talked to Brad about the invoice, and he hasn't yet "looked into it." They charge a little less hourly, and then the bill adds up. I asked them back to do another small job, they told me they'd come one day, no call, no show. Always seem to get a runaround. Needless to say, typically haven't heard from Brad.Jan.5

They came in and did an inspection of the wiring throughout the house, put in GFCI outlets and installed 9 fixtures for us. Throughout the process they were professional and answered all the questions we had. Brad checked in after all the work was complete to make sure we were happy with everything. Just this evening, as we are in the process of preparing our home for real estate viewings, we had kitchen under mount lighting issues. We called Brad and he came over right away, at 7 pm, and fixed the problem! Who, that does excellent work at a reasonable price, can you call at supper time and they come right over? Not very many in our experience. We recommend Emmoms Electric to anyone who wants a very professional electrical job done!
