This company is fantastic. I really can’t say enough good things. Jessey, the office manager, answers questions within minutes, and responds via text or email, which I love, because I can’t always answer the phone when I’m working. I didn’t have to sit around waiting for the electricians to arrive as Jessey sent me a text when the techs were 10 minutes away, which gave me time to scoot home from work to let them in. The electricians arrived masked and with covers over their boots. Dave explained everything in detail, so that I knew exactly what work they were going to do, and why it was being done. He also provided me different options, and tried to save me as much money as possible. Andrew stayed later than planned to install a light fixture that I requested at the last minute. This was a nice surprise, because I wasn’t sure he’d have time. Cardinal Plumbing & Electric is very professional, and I would not hesitate to recommend them for your project or repair.

Is there an option for 100 stars? I cannot say enough good things about Cardinal. Out first conversation was about getting a service expert out to give us a quote for some galvanized steel pipe replacements, and Jessey was quick with her responses, professional, and extremely friendly. The wait was only a day to get someone out to my property, and when Brock and Matt entered my home they were clean, professional, and personable. After giving me a VERY REASONABLE quote (seriously, half than what I was expecting) they were able to perform the job on the spot, I did not have to book another appointment for a different day. Their work was done quickly and efficiently, they left no mess in my home, they wore masks the whole time, and my dogs really liked them! I will be recommending Cardinal to every person I meet who needs plumbing or electrical work done. I am equally impressed with their customer service as I am with the work they did in my new home. Cardinal gives A+ Service starting with the first call when they answer! [ Jessey ] was a sweetheart and was able to get a technician out the next day! We had [ Kevin ] come fix our rusting out plumbing under the sink and install plumbing for adding a dishwasher to our home! He also made our house safe by fixing the sewer drain pipe in the basement; so we no longer have fumes coming up ! Last minute they were able to sneak [ Andrew ] in to add a new breaker and wiring for both the dishwasher and stove so we could have safe and up to date electrical! We called Cardinal plumbing because we had a corroded water storage tank that was leaking in our basement for days. Our usual plumbers were not answering the phone and had come to look at it and had done really nothing about it. So I called cardinal in desperation. A really nice guy name Alex showed up within a couple hours. He was knowledgable and friendly, Alex explained everything about the system and what needed to happen and then went right ahead and did it.We were amazed, by his professionalism and the speed of this companies response. We couldn’t be happier with cardinal plumbing.

He was not entirely certain where our leak was coming from, but started at the simple thing first, and it worked, thereby avoiding a large bill to replace components. He also shared some knowledge on how to avoid the problem in the future, and if problems persist, the cost to replace components so as to avoid similar issues in the future. I recently hired Cardinal to change out my backyard hose tap. Despite the tap being located in a hard to access location under our deck, Matt was able to remove the old tap and recommended installing a simple ball valve instead of the tap was previously installed. He also added a small extension pipe that was angled upwards to make it easier for me to reach the valve instead of reaching my whole arm down to turn it on. From start to finish, the customer service was top notch - Matt called prior to arriving to let me know he was on his way, had everything done within 15 minutes and cleaned everything up before he left. I would absolutely recommend Cardinal to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Was an amazing experience. From the quite to the finish line. Kevin, Glen and the boys were polite and respectful. Went over and above for our big job. When they came for the quote I got a good feeling from them and didn't even get a second quote. We initially wanted a sump pump installed and it turned out to be a bigger job than expected but they took care of it all. Even Paul the excavation guy was awesome. They showed up Friday and almost completed it in 1 day except for the unforseen issues in the pipe replacement. Roots everywhere. It's always hard to trust a trade to come out to your home as you always hear about the horror stories that happen. When we saw that not only did this company have great reviews but also backed by Google it was worth giving them a call. I'm so happy we did. I love that they come with an apprentice and that they really talk through the work together which was amazing to see. Our electrician was extremely passionate about the work he does and I could tell he really enjoyed the trade. The cost of unblocking our drain was expensive for a senior on a limited pension . However the service we received including intelligent tidy and very professional plumber and apprentice . Made me realize you really get what you pay for . We had hired another company the previous day and though I was happy with the plumber , we didn't get the problem resolved . Even though we paid the same amount . Matt the certified plumber had called prior to arriving , and within a few minutes I knew I was dealing with a well informed tradesman , I have some credibility in this area as I spent the past thirty years working as a consultant with the ministry of training colleges and universities Apprenticeship branch . I was responsible for training and certifying plumbers and other tradesmen . Both Matt the journeyman and Kevin the plumber , displyed true professionalism while in my home , they were both courteous , extremely tidy and very knowledgable . They eased our minds over cost and their ability to fix our problem . And in no time they were tidying up after fixing a problem we thought would cost thousands and result in our basement floor being ripped up . They cleaned up and offered help in dealing with any other plumbing issues we may have . Then before leaving , they gave us tips and suggestions on how to avoid similar problems occurring again . They even gave us tips on how to remove stains we had created while using chemicals on our countr and stainless steel sinks . I will only ever use Cardinal plumbing in the future , that is providing they send Matt and Kevin ! And as a footnote to their integrity , I offered Matt a cash deal to do some under the counter (cash deal ) plumbing jobs . But in the politest way possible he refused and let me know he only works for Cardinal , but would be pleased to return on the companies behalf . A solid 10 out of 10 .

Three days before Christmas our waterline broke and was leaking under the front lawn. Out of five plumbing services I contacted in my area Cardinal was the only one who called me back, and were able to be out the same day to quote the job. Work was booked for shortly after New Year's, and completed within one day. While they were here they noticed our sewer line had also been leaking into the ground. They were able to repair that for a minimal cost at the same time. Very professional, very friendly. From the office staff to the plumbers and machinery operators. Not only did they arrive on a holiday weekend (August 3), but Kevin was cheerful, gave me a great quote and did a professional job which proved difficult to track down but he got it AND stuck to the original price which was not hiked up because of it being a holiday, how much better can it be ? He arrived promptly at 8am and was very very neat , clean, respectful and friendly. The professionalism is par non and the price is also excellent. They stick to their word and leave you feeling very happy you called them. As much as the people that came out were very professional and polite, the price was double what other 5 star plumbers and electricians charged. Using a five star rating to double prices is not professional. On top of that, charged almost $100.00 for a quote. Shop around .... very over priced. UPDATE: Here is the charge to our credit card: $101.69 ... double the $49.00 service fee. We are leaving an honest review. People who came to quote were polite and professional but can't comment on work. Have had the work already completed for half the price. Shop around .... over priced.

We had a blockage in the line between our two washrooms during this heat wave. Cardinal came on time and resolved the issue and did a few other minor plumbing repairs. I called Cardinal Plumbing due to having no water or water pressure coming from my taps. We live on a well system and at first I had thought my jet pump needed to be primed. That was not the case 2 hrs into trying it myself. The following day Within 1 hr of calling them we received a txt that Matt was on his way. He introduced himself and was polite and followed all of the necessary steps due to covid towards social distancing and wearing face covering. He himself tried priming the pump with the correct tools needed and with no success was then able to diagnose the problem. Not only was Matt knowledgeable but went the extra mile in suggesting an upgraded well system then what we had when we purchased our home. Most of the old plumbing for our well system was less than adequate and improperly installed. Matt called in extra employees due to the scope of work needed to be performed and upon arrival and discussion were quick to get to work. The staff at Cardinal plumbing and electrical go above and beyond to ensure quality workmanship and a better understanding of how customers want and should be dealt with. I was charged fully ($400+) even if they did not fix the leak. Just because they stayed for a long time (3~4 hours) to solve it. I asked to pay for the hours but the so called manager/ owner was arguing in an unprofessional manner saying they don't charge by the hours. Called another plumber another day, 2 person fixed it in a hour and charged me $175. They found some original parts were thrown away by Cardinal but they managed to find some interchangeable parts in their van. I know these people request good reviews on Google, they also put signs in front of houses they worked, I just simply don't trust them anymore, and should let everyone be aware of my experience. They need to learn better plumbing and customer-focused attitude, and don't be too aggressive like cardinals.
