I've had Faulkner out to my home on two occasions, the first time was to install an electric car charger in my garage and some new electrical outlets in my basement. They were polite and efficient and punctual. The price was as quoted and I was pleased with the transaction. The second time was to remove the car charger due to a manufacturer's defect. They removed the fixture and opened up the casing, making the melted parts visible which finally allowed me to get a refund from the manufacturer. The also installed a 50 amp outlet for my replacement charger. In addition to their efficiency, they have been very helpful in supplying me with all of the paperwork that I needed to obtain the provincial rebate for my charger, even when I contacted them well after the installation date. Overall, they have been on time, on estimate, efficient and helpful. I would definitely recommend Faulkner Electric.

Outstanding service. Have had Faulkner here to install light fixtures, inside and outside switches and outlets, check the grounding of this house when I initially bought it, and even hardwire internet from our router to our home computers. Faulkner's professionalism, tidy work, and excellent communication via the boss, Derek, all ensure they will continue as my first choice for many years to come. My dryer was shorting out inside the junction box, the outlet and plug were melting. I called Faulkner at 830 and explained I had a one hour job and I would take a short notice booking. They called at 11:20 and said they were on their way. 20 minutes later an electrician arrived and in under an hour the outlet was replaced. The electrician was nice, his work was quick and quality, and I am happy with the experience. I would definitely call Faulkner again. Fast, quality and a fair price. Highly recommend. BTW I am still waiting for the appliance repair person - for the plug - and the other electrician to call back, so this was quality service compared to the average.Thank you

Derek was great. He knew exactly what the issue was and even tried to save us money by getting us to contact Hydro Ottawa first. They came by and checked things out, told us it was an issue on our end. Derek came by and showed us exactly what the issue was. Turns it it was still a Hydro Ottawa issue. He didn't have to do much but I'd hire him again!

We were very impressed with service we received from Faulkner Electric! We had a long list of items to be repaired and installed, including new under-cabinet kitchen lighting, repairing switches, installing new fixtures and bringing things up to code. Everyone we dealt with (on the phone, via email and in-person) were very professional and a pleasure to work with. We were amazed at how efficiently Ryan worked in the few hours he had in our home! He was courteous and vigilant with regards to the pandemic. And we are very happy with each solution that helped us with. The shopping list they gave us for the cabinet lighting was so helpful and saved us all that time of researching ourselves. Thank you! I had an electrician replace two baseboard heaters with new ones. A 4' long heater was replaced in the living room to allow for better placement of furniture. The shorter 18" heater is at the end of the couch allowing the couch to be placed against the wall. A kickplate heater under a kitchen cabinet replaced the heater that was under a window when the sink was moved into a new bump out addition that was built into the old window opening space to fit a sink below and a picture window and awning window above leaving no room for a baseboard heater. At the recommendation of the electrician I had three thermostats replaced with new ones. The old thermostats could not maintain a comfortable temperature in the living room or bathroom. The advice was excellent and now I have a much more comfortable home with even heat. One outlet was moved that was in the way of the living room baseboard heater, and another outlet was replaced because it was worn out to to the point that cords for electronics would not stay in the outlet. I recommend the electrician that Faulkner sent to provide services. He was knowledgeable, competent and efficient. The cost for my electrical services was about $500, which I felt was reasonable for several hours of installation work plus three thermostats and one outlet.

They did good work however they cut holes in the ceiling in the wrong place, refused to fix them, left box of their contractor garbage in the basement and my mom who is a paraplegic had to lug it up the stairs, complained we sent them two cheques with one being post dated by one month, and complained about being asked to repair the simple patch job after his hired help moved the wires. Since I only have one arm and am in a wheel chair, I find it difficult to go down to the basement to stand on a ladder and patch up the work this company did wrong. When I complained he said he asked me if it was OK and am I ever glad I have an audio security system. Everything they said was on my security audio tape. It will be easy to take them to court for the damages plus costs. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. they DO NOT repair their own mistakes.They complain a lot & over charge.

I had several lights and a fan that I needed installed - including one over a stairwell (i.e. two floors up) that required ingenuity to figure out how to safely do the installation. Josh from Faulkner was great - and with a bit of out of the box thinking was able to get it done with minimal fuss. Honestly it was far easier than I feared - mostly because of the can do attitude of the two electricians. In addition to being creative, they also did a very good job in installing and replacing the fixtures. The electricians as well as the office manager were very easy to work with and very professional. I have no hesitation in recommending Faulkner - and will definitely use them again for any electrical work. Thanks guys!
