Recently, we installed some new windows in our master bedroom and right thereafter, coincidentally and unexplainably, we lost power to one of the wall sockets in our bedroom along with power to the lights in the ensuite half bath. We called the only electrical company we knew -- the one that had installed a new electrical panel a number of years before. It took a few days for them to be able to come but, to our dismay, after working on our problem for over 6 hours, not only was our original problem not fixed, but we now did not have power to either the wall plugs or the lights in a second bedroom and no lights in a third one. Neither the electrician nor the company's general manager knew what was wrong and they were too busy to come back for another week. Through an internet search, due to the many very positive reviews given by their customers, we decided to give Henderson's a try. Since, it was not an urgent matter and it was on a Friday, Evan said they could come out first thing on Monday if that worked for us.
However, shortly after making the Monday appointment, we noticed a burning smell coming from one of our rooms that has in-floor heat. Upon checking, we found that the odor was coming from the thermostat. We turned off the thermostat and the switches in the panel connected thereto. After several hours the burning smell was abating so we decided not to bother Evan with an emergency call on the weekend.
On Monday two of their employees came and immediately went to the room where the burning smell had been. Within minutes, the senior electrician had located the problem and very quickly rectified it (much to our relief).
The remaining problems were just as quickly dealt with and we were shown or informed about each problem and how it was being fixed.
They even had time to attend to a long standing minor problem that we had not mentioned prior to their coming.
We could not have asked for more from both the owner, Evan, or the electricians he sent to help us. They were all pleasant, professional, competent, and patient. If we could give them an "11" out of "10", we would do so.
