Wish there was a ten star option. Brad Roberts Electric was referred to me by a good life long friend who had work done in his house. I was getting frustrated with the other electrical companies that I had dealt with and figured why the heck not try this guy too. Brad showed up on time to do my estimate, had it emailed to me in under 48 hours, because he acted so professional and showed up when he said he was going to and gave me the estimate when he said he was going to, he was already a shoe in for the job. Upon hiring him for my fairly big job of upgrading my electrical panel, moving my electrical panel to another location, moving my stack and meter to another location, inspecting and replacing problem wires within my house Brad was always pleasant to deal with, punctual and pays attention to detail. He obtained all permits right away and coordinated everything with Welland Hydro so I was only without power for just over an hour throughout the entire job. Thanks for the awesome work Roberts Electric.

I wish that I could describe all the details of the work done, but honestly.... clueless. I can say that the lighting suggestions presented to me demonstrated experience and thoughtfulness which I humbly appreciate. Cost was considered in every detail given that the Reno was done during the lockdown of our business and our budget was tight. Darren and Dylan arrived on time every time and left the space MORE clean than when they arrived. Their work exceeded my expectations and I am so grateful for their patience with my requests (the ridiculous light in the bathroom; the paper ceilings...). Clear communication was maintained throughout the job and they intuitively understood my needs. This could have been an intimidating experience for somebody like myself, but the men instilled trust and confidence. More recently (this morning, in fact) Calvin made a minor adjustment to one of our light switches. Fast, friendly, kind, professional ++. I am writing this on behalf of my mother who had some issues trying to figure out google reviews - but I did attach hers as well :) I should note that I use Roberts for everything in my home and my business. When my mother, who is immunocompromised, needed emergency electrical work done, the only person I would trust to send to her was them. So I called and asked if they would travel outside of their usual area. They didn't hesitate to help out. " 5 days before Christmas our stovetop shorted out. Roberts agreed to help us and gave us an appointment within 2 days, even though we were well out of their normal service area. Two electricians were assigned as we had a long and varied list of electrical problems that had accumulated over the years. Since they were travelling so far to help us, it was agreed we would tackle the whole list. It varied from simple indoor plug issues, to GFI socket installation, replacing outdoor rotted sockets, removing a fan/light system with a pull chain and installing a new wall switch light, and of course, installation of a new drop in stove top. As inevitable, there were some unexpected surprises (for example, the new stove top was a slightly different size!) But the men took all the challenges in stride and successfully, and elegantly, solved them all. Truly highly skilled professionals. We anticipated it would be at least 6 hours of work for 2 men. The two electricians arrived on time, assessed the work, prioritized it, and started working efficiently and professionally, completing the whole list in about 4 hours. All the work was done carefully, tested, and then cleaned up! This was the most exceptional electrical work we had ever had done; exceeded all our expectations! (and my husband is an architect and an engineer, so his expectations are really high!) We have our new "go to" electrical company!"

With a new baby soon to join our family, I had to say goodbye to my writer’s room—my favorite room in the house—to make space for a nursery. This meant it was time to upgrade my dungeon-lighting basement into a writer’s den, entertainment area, and gym. Can’t do that without good lighting. Luckily for me, Brad and his team at Roberts Electrical INC. were able to take care of all my lightning needs. I made the call on July 22nd; Brad did a free quote for me on the 27th; and by the 29th, the team was working away. I had 17 LED slim pot lights installed, four switches upgraded to dimmers, and a multipurpose power outlet relocated along the wall. Now, my basement is lit—and I love it more than my old writer’s room. Calvin and Dylan, the team that took care of this job, exemplified professionalism and were extremely easy to work with. They had no problem meeting my specific requests for the lighting setup and they ensured I was happy with the preplanned layout before they began cutting and wiring. I had knob and tube replaced in my house, and I couldn't be happier! On my estimate he gave me worst case scenario (walls being ripped apart) but they were able to replace it with minimal damage to the walls. They even put pot lights in my bathroom which was unexpected and much appreciated!! Overall probably the best experiences I have had with any type of contractor.

From the 1st interaction with Brad Robert's I felt like I was in good hands. He is a real pro and he listened to all of my concerns regarding the multiple electrical jobs that I needed done...and there were quite a few. Dylan showed up on the day that work was scheduled to be done...perfectly on time....and after a quick review of the jobs to be completed he went straight to work. As the day flew by and Dylan realized that he might not be able to complete the extensive list of jobs, he contacted Brad and Brad sent over a second electrician to help out. Darrin and Dylan hammered out the rest of the work with ease. Brad even stopped by at one point to inspect how things were going. Some of the jobs Robert's Electric did for us was change out multiple outlets for GFI's, install multiple dimmer switches, install full basement lighting, install new exterior outlets, hang new lights, etc. We will definitely be hiring Robert's Electric again to install our landscape lighting, kitchen potlights and bathroom lighting when we are ready.
