I contacted (2) different companies in the city for estimates. Both gave timely estimates and were very friendly - but MJM had a little better pricing so I decided to give them a go. I am glad I did! I have hired them twice now to do work in my old Buffalo home. First was to have old outlets updated, new outlets added and closet lights added. Second job was to have LED recessed lights installed. Tim did the work both times and did an excellent job. He was on time, courteous, great with my dog and cleaned up after himself. He did a great job was very willing to work with me to put outlets in the locations I wanted and was great at recommending layout for the new switches and lights. Having an old home meant working with plaster, Tim did a great job in making sure to do as little damage as possible to the plaster. (You always have to expect some). I am extremely satisfied and MJM will be my first call for any future needs.

Ask the community Great service. When they say they will be there a specific time they are there. Brian was very knowledgeable and does his job well. Will definitely be using them again for future electrical projects. I called the office staff for payment. They were very polite and professional.

Tim came to my new house this morning to install a hanging ceiling fixture. He was awesome. I told him where I thought I wanted it installed. Tim took the time to look at the space, ask me the measurement of my dining room table, show me exactly where the fixture would be in relation to the table if it were hung where I asked. He even asked for the measurement of the china cabinet that was also going to be in the room. He seriously spent at least 20 minutes with me discussing exactly the best placement of the light fixture before doing any work. I really appreciate his professionalism in taking this time with me, and he was right in his opinion, the placement of the light looks great. We have some other electrical needs coming up in our new house, I will definitely be calling MJM Electric and specifically asking for Tim!

I contacted MJM Electric via their website for the installation of a hardwired smoke and carbon monoxide detector in order to have some structural work performed in my house. MJM was quick to respond, arrived earlier than anticipated, performed the work in a timely, neat fashion (they were in and done before I was even able to have my father who lives next door come over!) and cost effective manner. They charged me $100.00 less than I had previously been quoted by another contractor who then ghosted me. I can say with absolute certainty that the next time I need any sort of electrical work performed in my house, MJM is the company I will be contacting.

I have a small dental practice, in August of 2018 NYSEG refused to address a problem that was clearly theirs. Without time to fight it I needed power and fast. MJM answered the call and evaluated the problem and helped me to correct it. It was a complicated job (permits needed) and communications with NYSEG, all of which was handled by Mike and the crew at MJM. Job was done very well, passed inspection with a glowing mark. Everything has been and continues to work perfectly and this was all done for a very fair cost. I will use MJM again when/if needed.

This is a long, overdue review to thank MJM for the fabulous job they did. Both the girl in the office, and Brian, the electrician, were very professional and responsive to my needs. The job of installing a light fixture, with faulty wiring, in my home, was fairly priced. While most other companies did not want to tackle such a small job , Brian kept me apprised of his arrival time and immediately diagnosed the situation when he got to my house. He made sure I would have no electrical problems until he returned in a couple of days to complete the job with the needed parts. I will definitely recommend MJM to my friends. .
