We had a wire short out and start a small fire in our shop. Lucky there was no damage but we needed an electrician right away at 4:00pm on Saturday December 23. Toronto Wiring was the first person to answer the phone and say they could help, everyone else was not answering the phone or said they could not come out at that time. They were there within a few hours and traced the problem and made it safe to turn the power back on to our shop and the apartment upstairs. Great service and fast response... THANK YOU!!

Cancelled an appointment 5mins before saying “can’t make it” meanwhile I left work early to make sure I could meet them at the time they suggested. I understand things happen but this is so disrespectful - Don’t trust them to show up when they say they’re going to. Don’t hire them.

Getting a new dryer and requested an outlet as old dryer was direct wired from the circuit breaker.When T.W. put in the new outlet discovered circuit breaker was only 20 amps. T.W made a second visit and installed 30 amp breaker at no additional charge!! Highly recommend!

Great experience using Toronto Wiring. Called them because I needed a few cable wires in a wall moved over in a condo in order to open up a wall to create an open concept kitchen. From the first moment I contacted them they were professional and gave me a detailed breakdown of what needed to be done and the parts required with an exact price. I was disappointed with the lack of full disclosure by the owner of Toronto Wiring. I wish I was fully informed of all the possible charges before agreeing to their service. However, the on-site subcontractor electrician was very friendly, skilled & knowledgable in his craft. I wanted to have some Smart WiFi light switches installed to replace the existing standard light switches in my home. I was told by the owner of Toronto Wiring to provide photos of the switches and my existing wiring system. After he reviewed my photos, I was quoted $250+tax for the job. Once the electrician came on-site and started the job, he informed me that the Smart WiFi switches were not compatibly with my home. The owner of Toronto Wiring promptly emailed me saying “The fee for the service call is $100 please etransfer.“ After I paid him the $100 in full, I asked him for a receipt, he then replied “Sure. If you need a receipt please etransfer the hst as well.“ I had to ask him how much the HST was, and paid him, before he finally sent me the receipt. As a customer, I would have appreciated being informed ahead of time that there is a chance the installation may not work, especially after having already provided photos and being quoted a fee. I would also have appreciated knowing ahead of time, what the service fee would be, in the event that the job could not be done. I was more than happy to pay the electrician for his time and service. However, I wish I was better informed by Toronto Wiring. If I had all the information ahead of time to make a better decision, I may not have agreed to their service to begin with.

We had looked high and low for someone to come to a residential property to fix and old 'pbx lite' system from the 90s as there is almost nobody out there whom will do this type of telecom work. Toronto Wiring's team member Frans did a fantastic job on putting in the new xBlue system and it was a seamless / easy transition thanks to their work! During the May windstorm in Toronto one of our large trees blew over and took out our power stack as well as the power for our street. The windstorm caused such an emergency state in Toronto that it was impossible to get help on the weekend. We called many electricians and Tim at Toronto Wiring was the only one to answer our call and he put a qualified team together to work on our power stack within 24hrs! They worked late into the night on Saturday and were back at it Sunday morning. The team wouldn't leave until they knew that ESA had certified the work through their ACP qualification and that Toronto Hydro received the ESA certification. It too them many hours and many phone calls to Toronto Hydro to get this done. We were so impressed with their level of service, professionalism, and the great work they did to restore our power. These guys were exhausted from the emergency work they were doing around the clock but they were so great to deal with through the whole weekend. I will definitely call Toronto Wiring again for service.
