I have not met anybody else with the depth of knowledge and passion to share the peculiarities of the code and understand the logic behind often hard to decipher code rules. If you are studying to become a Journeyperson Electrician or Master Electrician I can think of no better resource. Marvin wants you to succeed and he wants you to UNDERSTAND the code and it's intent. I've only used his materials built for the electrical trade but I would be beyond surprised if all his other offerings did not match the clarity and scope of Marvin's work that I have used. I cannot explain how many incredible and valuable resources this place offers! Marvin is an amazing teacher both in school to his students (having personal experience) and outside the classroom through his learning material available in all sorts of incredible manners not only to prepare you for the CFQ 309A but also for your Masters once you have completed your pre-requisite time! I have purchased all of the resources available from Marvin and have only benefited incredibly from all of them. The prep for the CFQ exam is absolutley fantastic, both the physical copy which will guide you through a summary of the most important and difficult concepts in each section of the CEC as well as an amazing online resource of practice exams with escalating difficulty as you advance through the book, all in all, I have looked everywhere and there isent a single resource that even comes close to what Marvin offers! Apart from this he offers endless resources such as preparatory for the Master exam, how to estimate, tricks for the trade...etc. He even offers an illustrated version of the Code Book explaining in summarized detailed with amazing diagrams all of the hard to understand mumbo jumbo the CEC sometimes presents! I am Licensed Electrician with 309A all thanks to these resources! Even today I continously carry all of these resources in my truck and have never been stumped by a situation because I can always find the answer. Theres nothing better than inspectors simply sticking an approval stamp on your work EVERY TIME they come. Marvin is the best code teacher I have ever had and thanks to his resources I have nothing but confidence in all the work I do!

I just recently passed my 309A Cofq and I owe a lot of that to Marvin and his products. His pre exam workbook got me prepared and ready to write the test and I felt confident every step of the way. His tips and tricks helped me navigate the test and code book efficiently. Anytime I got stuck on a question I could just recite his acronyms like SIS (skip it system or RTFQ(read the full question) or my personal favourite DCMF ( don't confuse me with the facts) and it would give me another perspective of the question. I wrote and passed my exam 4 weeks after completing his course, trade school is not enough I would strongly recommend Marvin's pre exam course and any of his products. I'll be using him again when I'm eligible to take the masters course.

Study buddy is a scam. No proven results and I don't know anybody that passed the electrician license exam with the material. It's old and stale. Buyer beware. Marvin Rosenberg hides behind the orderline name and George brown college. Don't buy.

The book provide excellent content coverage to help equip student with limited prior knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code with the information to pass the Certificate Of Qualification Exam. As a student at the time with no knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code this book was instrumental as my study guide as I prepare to sit my Certificate of Qualification Exam in which I was successful on my first attempt of the exam. I find the content very easy to understand with clear instruction and adequate content coverage and thus it has become one of my teaching resources in my Pre-Exam course. I highly recommend this book for both a self study as well as a teaching resource and student have given raving review about how it has help them in preparing for their exam.

Can't say enough good things about Marvin and his Pre Masters Exam course. Even during the pandemic with an online delivery system, he was still able to make a dry topic interesting. The pacing was perfect. I'm a Lineman who knew nothing of the CEC book, but now I have the confidence to navigate just about any electrical question that might come at me in the future. As for the two negative reviews on this site, I'm willing to bet that those two individuals expected some sort of "free pass" or "automatic pass" of the exam because they attended a course. They didn't put in the work! If you follow Marvin, and put in the work, it's almost a guaranteed pass!!! Definitely worth your time and effort.

I recently completed and passed this course. This was by far one of the best programs that I have ever taken. I found myself to be very excited and engaged with every class. My background is a 434 Journeyman Lineman. At first glance I thought that this is a little intimidating. This is completely out of my "wheelhouse", Ive never done code or seen materials or books like this in my entire career. As a lineman, we are a different breed of tradesmen. On numerous occasions I had the luxury to pick up the phone and speak in lengths directly to Mr. Marvin Rosenberg until I was back on track. This course was recommended to me by a dear friend who had taken this same program years ago with Marvin. I now see why he so strongly helped push me towards this. Im very grateful to the IBEW 353 for assisting in this great opportunity. Even bigger thank you directly to Brother Marvin for being a way above average educator. He is truly an inspiration to pride in our electrical industry. Lastly, also a big thank you to Louies Classico pizza (you'll understand if you take this program).The books and materials are not just for this class, they will be useful for a life time. I can't say for certain but I believe out of nearly 80 participants that I was the only lineman in this particular class. Took Master Electrician Exam course with this business, Marvin Rosenberg is by far one of the smartest, most patient and understanding person I've ever dealt with, always there to help even outside of the course hours. I have learned more in 2 months from Marvin than I had throughout my whole trade school experience, I wasn't expecting passing the exam on first attempt especially while working full time and having to take care of a 4 year old at times, which greatly reduced my studying time, to my surprise I passed the exam on the first attempt even scoring above the passing grade!
