Working with Yonder Light Electric has been a pleasure from start to finish. I don't normally take the time to write reviews, especially because I have not had the best luck with electricians in the past, from their billing practices (and hidden fees) to not listening to my requirements or rushing through a job and leaving a huge mess. Yonder Light Electric handled my skepticism with grace and professionalism. From the very beginning, Russ called me promptly to gather more information from me, and did not charge for our initial consultation which was quite lengthy in order for him to properly understand my requirements. He showed up on time, and was very transparent about how I was going to be billed, and he handled it with such grace that I felt he cared more about doing the job right, professionally and with respect to my requirements than he did about profitability. In fact, throughout the process we had a couple of hiccups, and he handled them promptly and took ownership of any problems that came up and reduced the bill for any hiccups that had occurred that added a little time to the project. He even helped me with a project that was completely unrelated to electrical work that had been giving me trouble, and did not charge me for that time, because he's a good guy which is rare in today's world. The work done was professional, and exactly to my specifications. I am a fussy client when it comes to how I want everything laid out, and he was patient and took the time to ensure everything was done to my specs. He was also an awesome human being to talk to and taught me a few tricks to be able to handle some of these issues myself going forward (which no electrician has ever done with me before so it was a great touch) as I am trying to get more into DIY type of work. He fully cleaned up after he was done, and did not charge me for cleaning up. All in all, I took a big risk going with Yonder Light Electric for this project, as they are relatively new to the game, however the owner has worked in the industry for several years and is extremely knowledgeable. The risk paid off and I will be going with them for all electrical tasks (except the minor ones which I can now do myself!) going forward. Thanks again! Chris
