Other companies offer inferior equipment that doesn't match the micro-inverter technology that Oceanvolt offers. Oceanvolt has provided exceptional service for us at our home on Mayne Island, British Columbia. Marcus and Jordan went out of their way to provide high quality, customized service as we embarked on upgrading the safety of our electrical system. They traveled to the island on more than one occasion to provide us with great service. We now have new panels, outlets, fixtures indoors and outdoors. Our house is now grounded and we also have a generator installed and ready to go for our next winter on the island. Most importantly Marcus and Jordan have given us peace of mind and have made us feel safe in our own home. I would be happy to provide a reference for any future customers for Oceanvolt!

We have a 1950s bungalow style home with typical old wiring and poorly insulated. We have been wanting to do a major upgrade for awhile. We always look for reviews to help us decide who to hire as home renovations are expensive. We finally decided on hiring oceanvolt electrical and we are sure happy we did. They arrived on time made us a quote and recommended what we wanted and more. The panel upgrade was our main priority. They did all the permits liasoned with bc hydro etc. We also have a suite but it shares the same panel so needless to say it was a nightmare. Marcus and Jordan were eager to dig in and first gave us our own panel and a separate one for the suite and also installed a power monitor so we know now how muchpower our tenant is using that’s awesome thank you oceanvolt. Jordan and Marcus were a pleasure to work with always on time very professional eased all our worries and now we live in a very safe home and that was always our biggest concern. In the weeks following we also hired them to install the wiring for our new heat pump and GET THIS we now have solar power too WOW THANKS TO OCEANVOLT. So if you want any kind of electrical work done or advise on home upgrades and rebates i would highly recommend these two awesome guys thank you again Oceanvolt for making our house SAFE cool in the summer warm in the winter and a lot greener for our beautiful island we live in.

Marcus, of Oceanvolt Electrical actually did 2 separate electrical jobs for me. The first one was a total revamp and upgrade on an existing basement lighting system. Marcus was professional and thorough, and even suggested some practical applications that ultimately improved the overall lighting in the basement. I was very happy with the result. On another occasion, Oceanvolt Electrical was my first call to wire up the electric garage door. They were prompt and professional and the garage door works great. I would definitely use Oceanvolt Electrical again.

It was my good fortune to be referred to Oceanvolt Electrical Inc. when we wanted to have pot lights installed, remove some ceiling fans and replace them with new fixtures, and replace some outlets that were no longer working. I was so impressed with the people and the job they did that I asked them back to repair a couple more outlets, and to remove and install some fixtures in our second home. I’ll certainly call again should I require an electrician in the future!

The Enphase app is very user friendly and allows me to monitor my savings & carbon offset every day. My husband and I were looking to have a generator installed on our property primarily as insurance against the long power outages in our area. We did not require the more permanent solutions that are cost prohibitive and take up too much space on our small property. We reached out to Jordan and Marcus from Oceanvolt Electical who did an on site consultation. They recommended a portable generator with a dedicated electrical panel and switch. They installed the panel inside the garage and the electric hookup outside. We are delighted with this cost effective solution that does not take up space in our small yard yet meets all our electrical needs during an outage. Jordan and Marcus were outstanding! They were professional, kept us informed, took care of the research, ordering parts and obtaining permits. They were on time, efficient, polite and completed the job quickly. After the installation they cleaned up and took all of the boxes and garbage with them. You could not tell that they were here. As the installation took place during the Covid pandemic they wore masks and respected social distancing. We could not be happier with the results and highly recommend Oceanvolt Electrical to anyone who needs an electrician. March 9/21 update We had an ongoing issue with our outside electrical outlet since we bought the house in 2016. We used it to run the pumps in the fishpond. Intermittently the GFI would need to be replaced. Our little fish depended on the pumps during the cold weather! Of course we now knew a reputable electrical company from our fabulous experience with installing our generator. We contacted Jordan and Marcus. They responded right away, determined that there was a wiring issue from the builder, corrected the problem so that the outlet won't fail again. The frustration with the outlet is over and the fish are safe again. Thanks so very much!
