This company was a random call in a Google search today for a mast and meter box replace, after Hydro cut the lines the night before from tree damage. Service was quick and prompt from the first call to the electrician showing up on site to the billing and payment. there was a few issues along the way but the electrician was able to quickly and efficiently sort out a couple of minor issues and proceed completing the job in a timely manner. The forms and declaration for a hydro reconnect we're quick and easy and professionally dealt with. everything is done via electronic device which for most people is a preferred method of doing business. I would have no problem recommending them.

I needed some motion sensors installed on the outside of my home to provide security and lighting in darker areas of my yard. As I am not an electrician I decided to contact an electrical firm to get a quote on what I wanted, I saw a Mr. Electric van at my neighbors a few doors down so I asked my neighbors about them and he spoke highly of them so I called Mr. Electric and told them what I required, they came over at the appointed time, explained the best way to proceed and the best units for for my needs, cost and install time. The electrician installed 2 units in the appropriate areas and programmed them as I requested, as they have many settings. The job was done professionally, quickly and the young man was very personable and respectful of my home and my needs. These guys are great and I highly recommend Mr. Electric for any electrical requirements you may have.

Highly recommend! We had an emergency issue arise on a Saturday evening and within 2 hours our Technician (shoutout to Jesse Sahota!!!) was on the phone with me letting me know the issue was fixed. This whole issue was handled remotely as we’re on the mainland and the home is in Victoria. I was incredibly impressed by their service, communication, and professionalism. Jesse called exactly when he said he would every time, gave me appropriate updates, arrived promptly to the site, he answered every question I had clearly and honestly. He guided me through the whole process and I didn’t stress for a second. The price was very reasonable, especially given it was on a weekend. We’ll definitely be working with them again later this year to replace the outdated breaker panel.

With installation (solving an odd wire issue from the original builders—nothing onerous) and clean up, 3 hours. Price: $678!!!! Happy to pay a premium for quality, professional work, but $225/hr with parts—a box, plug & cover plate, is ridiculous. Would love to use them again, but felt ripped off, even for such good (if simple) work. Postscript: I’m adding to the review to mention the company got back to me after the Google review and offered me a reduced rate. I was refunded $168. While still a premium price (never a problem for great work), I think the new price fair. And the refund is very much appreciated.

Checked my electric box and connections in light switch and fixed as needed. Also helped me chane a bulb in one of my track lighting lights that was going out, I couldn't reach it. We had a lot of work done and changed what we wanted a couple of times, the guys that did the work for us were very professional and patient with our changes. They did beautiful work with pot lights and wired in a heat pump, range hood fan, and bathroom fan for us. The only thing I was not happy about was we had been pretty specific on a few occasions that we wanted nothing sticking out of a bedroom wall and they ended up leaving something sticking out of the bedroom wall and then charging us again to fix it. There was also a short we asked them to fix and they put in another plug which was really close to the other plug in and didn't even fix them problem.

We had an emergency situation when a large tree in our neighbours yard fell on our power service lines. It pulled the lines out of the house leaving a hole in the roof and of course no power. I called Mr. Electric as they provided 24/7 service. The receptionist was very kind and connected us with an electrician as soon as he was available. I received a text with the name, contact information and even a photo of the individual that was to come to the house. Mori Kickbush is a master electrician and it shows. He stayed late three days in a row and kept in contact with us at all times. He provided us with a quote the same night he arrived. After 2 full days, he was able to have our power reconnected and took care of all the required permitting and coordination with BC Hydro. He also scoured suppliers for material, which is in short supply. Mr. Electric is professional, fair, friendly and responsive. I would recommend them to anyone that asked.

We were required to have an inspection by our insurance company as part of our annual renewal and had no idea who to use. Usually I look for referrals but I heard their ad on the radio and decided to check the reviews. They were spot on! They was punctual if not early, polite, professional, personable and clean. They did an honest evaluation and it turned out we required very little done, but because our exterior lighting had been removed during deck repairs I asked for a quote on re-installing it. I asked about better lights than our current ones and he suggested L.E.D. sensor lights. Wow! Best and safest lighting ever! Ian and Chris were fantastic and I will certainly call them when I need work done again!

I caught a fellow from Mr. Electric of Victoria who was working just a few homes away from mine and asked him if he happened to have a smoke detector/CO2 detector with him and he did. As soon as he was finished at the previous customers home he came over to my home and hard wired the detector in for me. As the fellow was already here, I paid only for the detector itself and a very minimal labor charge. 1 1/2hrs after stopping to talk to this gentleman, he was walking away from my home and I had a new dual function detector installed. My whole experience with Mr. Electric of Victoria was exceedingly quick, exceedingly friendly, and best of all, exceptionally affordable. Thank again folks. 100% positive transaction...

I'm not knowledgeable with electrical, so i decided to call an electrician. Melissa on the phone was super helpful and friendly when I first called. I was having trouble with my heaters downstairs. She assisted with a panel reset which fixed the heaters not working. I also needed a light fixture installed, so Jesse was dispatched the same day. Also super friendly. He checked the panel and proceeded with installation. I am happy with their service.

Mr Electric staff was very friendly and easy to deal with. They were very quick to get to us which was great. The job was done satisfactorily in a reasonable amount of time. What I wasn’t happy with was how expensive they were. We agreed to the quote so that’s on us. What really disappointed us though was the lack of details in their work order. The way they lumped things together makes it impossible to see the details of what was billed. With the premium price I’d like to know what I paid for what. I will not be using them again and can’t recommend them unless you aren’t worried about price.

He helped us to install some new switches and a new board heater. We're empressed by his expertise and his excellent ideas. Each time before the work was done, Christine always gave us super good ideas as to use the good quality appliances and arranged the wires safe and neat which did no damage to the painting and the walls nearby. The new switches and new board heater perfectly match with the surroundings just like they were there when the house was built. Christine gave us very clear professional explanations of the blinking lights and two different ways to solve the problems for us to choose. For the second time both Dave and Christine came to install the board heater, I was also empressed by their superb team work. Each time Mr. Electric technicians appeared on time and each time they paid special attention to protect the floor and made the working areas very clean and neat after the work was done. I needed to get new outlets in my house and a few other minor problems fixed. Jesse Sihota was my magician. In doing the initial work, other problems were found and created a lot more work and this required a tremendous amount of patience. A one day job ended up being a marathon of 3 days. Older homes can be a huge challenge. Jesse went the extra mile and more. He stayed very late the first night - over the supper period - and I finally convinced him to go home as it was his ANNUIVERSARY! The next time he was in he even carried all my groceries into the house for me. I was extremely impressed with the service from Mr. Electric and would recommend it to everyone.
