We have received fabulous service from Geoff and his team at Houston Electric. Originally Geoff undertook an upgrade to a 200 amp service on my 1982 home. Because the panel is on a large wall in the dining room, Geoff took great care not to do any drywall damage as would normally occur during a major rewiring job, meaning I had no drywall repair or repainting when he was finished. The job included pre-wiring to a new sub panel in the garage for an EV charger. When a subsequent storm brought a tree down on our main service wire, tearing the brand new mast and meter off the house, Geoff prioritized our repairs, including wiring a generator into the panel to maintain almost normal service throughout the Christmas week. He subsequently added a permanent emergency generator backup system. I recommend Houston Electric for their professionalism, attention to detail, courtesy, competitive pricing, excellent communication skills and always showing up at the arranged time!

My girlfriend and i recently had an ikea kitchen installed in our house and houston were called to do there part of it. We were very impressed at the work they did and being on the job always when they said they would be As a result of there work the house got upgraded to 200 amps from 100 with a bunch of extra work done in the garage. All the work was done by these guys far beyond our expectations and at a price we were very happy with Well done Geoff and Dave highly recommended

Had a back up generator installed and two panels replaced. I think this was too big of a project for this company. There were ongoing delays and I had to ask several times for them to finish the project. The wiring in my main 200amp panel was very poor, an absolute rats nest of wiring with no organization. On top of that no surge protector was installed and I have since had several problems with appliances due to this lack of oversight. I would not recommend nor use this company again.
