I had issues with a celling light, wall plug in, GFI plug power outage. I called Bontech Electric and spoke with Dan about these issues he informed me of his Service Call rate. Dan came the next day and I showed him the locations and electrical issues. He went to work right away and found the issue with the previous wiring & showed me the problem, he replaced parts then tested the system and ensured everything was functioning properly. He did this in a short period of time Safely and Professionally and at a VERY REASONABLE COST. Thank you Dan &Team Great Job. I will have you back if I run into anymore electrical issues

Ceiling Fan installation. We live in a townhouse with a master bedroom loft on the top floor. The cathedral ceiling has a significant slope and we did not want to pull off the ceiling to add the fan. Dan (with the help of his son) did the work quickly, cleanly and efficiently connecting the fan to the lighting, running wires and installing the fan. The fan is solid and runs quietly with no issues at any speed. We are delighted with the results.

These guys were great to have come out and work in our house. They changed over every outlet, light fixture, exterior fixtures and did some replacements of electrical boxes for a great price. Additionally, extra cost items were clearly identified and a lamens explanation was given so I could understanding why something needed to be changed or should be changed. Also, they pulled a permit for the work they completed! I recommend them for any electrical work you may need!

We contacted Bontech to see if they could repair the switch on a pole lamp. Dan called us on the day promised and came over to our home to fix the unit on site. Had Dan come in to fix a couple of flickering lights/switches today. Dan was the only one returned my call the same day after I called a few electricians from Kijiji, so many of them would say "no job is too small", however, not very many of them are willing to respond to service calls like fixing lights. Dan came to my rescue. We own a rental in Edmonton and reside in Calgary. I had scheduled a different electrician to do work on the Friday and he kept me waiting all day then said he couldn't make it. Now we were out of time and had to drive back to Calgary. I called Dan and told him my scope of work (8 fixtures/repairs) and he agreed to take the job and complete it on Saturday without me being present. He got the job done exactly as agreed honoured his quote. I really like that he called to get approval of decisions or any changes especially if they impacted the cost. He sent me pictures of the completed work and charged a very reasonable price. It is so rare to meet someone so honest and hardworking. I got back to the rental a few days later and walked through and everything is perfect. I'm so lucky I came across his ad on Kijiji.

We had our electrical service upgraded to 100 Amps. Dan came when he had agreed and quoted a price that was acceptable. He arrived when he said he would and completed the work as we had agreed. It was inspected and approved without concerns although the inspector arrived later than expected. Epcor arrived within a reasonable time frame and we had power on before the end of the day. Bontech had to return the following morning for less than an hour to finish up. The cleanup was very good and Dan even recovered the holes in the drywall and mudded them, which he was not obligated to do. We were completely satisfied with his work.

Dan was terrific! On a brutal winter day in Edmonton the electricity in my garage shorted out. Not only did my snow blower stop working, so did my garage door!!! Dan arrived at my house within 20 minutes of my call and found that the fuse box in my basement was mislabelled. He fixed the blown fuse for my garage electricity and then fixed my garage door, which had come off its tracks. Finally, he fixed an exterior electrical outlet that died six months ago in a jiffy. Dan was fantastic, he did a ton of potlights for us including in our vaulted ceiling and switched out some switches for us. I wasn't exactly sure what/where/how many I wanted, and he had some great ideas. People have commented on how wonderful the potlights look in our home, and the experience was great from start to finish. Pricing was reasonable, work was done quickly and efficiently (and more importantly done well) and he even came back to add an extra one for me because I was indecisive. We will definitely have him back once we're further along in our renovation project. Would definitely recommend!

When I originally priced out an electrician for my kitchen renovation, I called to get quotes from five of the best rated electricians in Edmonton. Not only was Bontech’s quote super reasonable, the thing that really struck me was that Dan said to me, “I’d really appreciate your business.” His years of experience and professionalism showed when he patiently and knowledgeably answered all my questions. As he worked on the project, he also told me that if it took him less time, he wouldn’t charge me the entire agreed upon amount because he doesn’t feel right taking money for work he didn’t do. I was completely fine with the agreed upon price but to me that said a lot about his integrity. A genuinely good person who does quality efficient work is hard to find. I’ve had him do multiple projects and know as long as he’s in business he will be my first call when I need an electrician. If you want a quality electrician, he should be your first call too. Can’t say enough good things about this company.

Woke up this morning to an electrical issue with some of the plug ins and lights not working in select areas of our 4 level split home. Checked online for electrical company and found Bontech. I called the number and spoke to Dan and he said he could come right over to check on the problem. He arrived within 1/2 hour and was able to locate the loose wire connnection in one of our living room outlets very quickly. He replaced the outlet and fixed the problem.
