In my case he was completely irresponsible and lied to me three times that he had taken the steps with Hydro and opened a service request with them (so that they could accompany him to validate a new electrical entry and to move clocks) when he hadn't actually done it. I don't know if he was overwhelmed or not, but he told me he would be ready to do the job, but Hydro was lagging behind .... In short, he fooled me for 3 and a half months between mid-October 2020 and February 1, 2021. Telling me that "yes, yes, I applied to Hydro for an appointment, but I am waiting for them" . During these 3 months and even after my 3 conversations with him, he answered me the same salad: "yes, yes, I asked Hydro for an appointment, but I am waiting for them" ... I had quite a shock Eid Électrique when I contacted Hydro today to find out what was a normal delay for them to have a simple appointment to accompany an electrician ... Hydro answered me, " but sir, you would have waited a lifetime, no service request has been received for your building and no electrician has opened a request for an appointment for the work. " So Mr. Eid Electric cost me a period of 3 months and I have to start all over again with another contractor. If he didn't want the job or if he was overwhelmed, he should have told me. It's simple, isn't it? The only positive is that he didn't touch the installation, so at least he didn't instruct me to do anything. If you do business with him, write it all down because his word is not worth much if my experience with him is representative. He is still polite when he lies to you. So that's a positive I guess. Mais toutes ses étoiles étaient absentes pour mon expérience avec lui. Dans mon cas il a été entièrement irresponsable et ma menti a trois reprises comme quoi il avait fait les démarches avec Hydro et ouvert une demande de service avec eux (afin quils puissent l'accompagner pour valider une nouvelle entrée électrique et pour déplacer des horloges) quand il ne l'avait pas fait en réalité. Je ne sais pas s'il était débordé ou non, mais il m'avait dit quil serait près a faire le travail, mais qu'Hydro traînait le pas.... Bref, il m'a niaisé pendant 3 mois et demi entre mi-octobre 2020 et le 1er février 2021. Me disant que "oui, oui, j'ai fait la demande chez Hydro pour un rendez-vous, mais jattends après eux". Pendant ces 3 mois et même après mes 3 conversations avec lui, il me répondait la même salade: "oui, oui, j'ai fait la demande chez Hydro pour un rendez-vous, mais jattends après eux"... J'ai eu tout un choc Eid Électrique quand j'ai contacté Hydro aujourd'hui pour savoir c'était quoi un délai normal pour eux afin d'avoir un simple rendez-vous pour accompagner un électricien... Hydro me reponds, "mais monsieur, vous auriez attendu toute une vie, on n'a reçu aucune demande de service pour votre immeuble et aucun électricien n'a ouvert une demande de rendez-vous pour les travaux.." Donc monsieur Eid Électrique m'a couté un délai de 3 mois et je dois recommencer à nouveau mes démarches avec un autre contracteur. S'il ne voulait pas la job ou s'il était débordé, il aurait dû me le dire. Cest simple non? Le seul positif est quil n'a pas touché a l'installation, donc au moins il ne m'a pas chargé à rien faire. Si vous faites affaire avec lui, aiyez tout en écrit car sa parole ne vaut pas grand chose si mon expérience avec lui est représentative. Il est quand même poli quand il vous ment. Donc c'est un positif je suppose.

This guy will harass you do get paid the minute the job is done. then you will be surpised when Hydro is gonna charge because he didn't do the job properly. I paid him almost 3000$ for a new electric line in house, he told everything is included. then when Hydro came and said he rushed too much and didn't do it proper and had to finish his job. they charged me 360 dollars for that which he refused to refund claiming that he is not responible. this guy is dishonnest. avoid him as much as you can (also he said if I get charged anything by Hydro, he would refund. but refuses to do so. he is a liar)
