They have always been right on or under the estimated cost, or had a really good reason why not. The whole system there seems really organized and on-the-table, nothing hidden. I was very shocked and disappointed after being quoted $1918.22 to replace my: Brakes, rotors & calipers. I came to Seeco in a time of need, while trying to transfer my vehicle from Alberta to BC. As a local, born in Courtenay I was appalled after being reccomeneded to come here by friends. Unfortunately their greed outweighs courtesy, and I went elsewhere, which did the exact same job for just shy of $1000. If i was in as big of a rush as they thought i was they would've cashed in on an easy $900 bonus. I did work here on a different vehicle of mine, though I will not be coming back. Slimy.

My car's engine leaked oil. I was recommended to come here. After inspection, it was caused by the aging of the engine rubber pad. The quotation is reasonable, and it is more expensive than the price I consulted in Vancouver. Of course, after the repair, I found that there was still oil leakage. After inspection, I found that only the rubber pad on one side of the engine was replaced, and the original rubber pad on the other side continued to seep. Oil, I told them the actual situation again, but I was told that the profit was too low, so I replaced one side, and the other side needed to spend more money to solve it completely because it was too cumbersome. The suggestion given to me is that oil leakage does not affect the use!

I brought my cadillac all the way from Texada because I needed serious repairs. I think they do good work but my cadillac's issues were underestimated and left unresolved. I was told the next day that the vehicle was not able to be fixed because I brought the vehicle in hot. Given the nature of my commute to seek out a highly qualified mechanic, I am dissapointed that my vehicles issues were under-rated and I wish a little more time was spent investigating my cadillac as I was happy to spend whatever the cost to fix it. I think had the time been spent, these would have been the guys to fix my problem.

Our RV broke down and we were stranded on the Island! Luckily we found Ron and his team at Seeco Automotive. The transmission on our RV broke down, and timing was critical. I have to say they did everything in their power to help us get home in time. Unfortunately, parts had to come from Victoria and came very late on a Friday evening (well past their closing time), and Ron & team stayed after hours to ensure we caught the last ferry out. We can't say enough how appreciative and pleased we are with their service (Ron even called us the next day to make sure we had made the ferry on time). We definitely recommend their service.
