Rather disappointed. I hired Collins Electric to do the electrical wiring for my cottage renovation. The electricians seemed to keep forgetting things I had asked them to do, and having to be called to come back and fix various aspects of the job, repeatedly. Very frustrating. I had asked originally why they were not making notes of what must be done, and was told, "I'll remember." Which he didn't. Although it was agreed that the two bathroom light switches were to do different things: one to turn on the lights and one for the fan, one swich was not connected at all, and the other operated both lights and fan, which I definitely did not want. When asked why this was, the electrician said he was unwilling to go up into the attic, which would be a requirement if one switch was to operate the fan. I had to call the supervisor and point out that this was a requirement of the job, before the electrician returned and finally fixed the bathroom switches. Also, l am still having problems with my security lights and shall have to get a different electrician to look at them.

pleasant, professional electricians that came to our home Lester, Andrew, Cameron and Sam? ( I forget the last guys name ) all did a great job. Installed our new lighting exactly how we wanted it, put in the dimmer switches, everything works and looks fantastic. Great Job!

Cannot believe there are no reviews for these guys - they are the best !! We used them in 2007 on a house in Parksville and they were extremely efficient, really helpful and a joy to work with. The work came in at the amount I had expected it would cost. I had not requested a quote but just trusted that as they came though John Beal that they would be fair. We were really very happy. Now here in Coombs they have done a load more work on a property purchased later in 2017 and again have been fantastic. We had been let down by another company and John came around quickly after we contacted them and really pulled out the stops to get the work done we needed. We were in a situation of no heat and poor electrical setups. They put together a really good quote and did the work really quickly. We were thrilled as we knew they were already busy. Cannot say enough good things about these guys. They billed as per the estimate even though there were changes made along the way. I think it was a very fair price and exceptional service. Thanks guys !! Andy came round to do the work and he is a wonderful representative of the company. Definitely 5 stars !

We had Collins come in and rewire all of our internet jacks it was not an easy task at all. They gave us a great price, have happy and efficient workers, where willing to work alongside our shaw representative and help meet the requirements for what he was doing, they even cleaned up after themselves. Things looked the exact same when they left as it did when they arrived.We feel they went above and beyond what we expected, we highly recommend Collins to everyone!!
