Steve came within 30 mins for an emergency repair for a broken breaker that we had in our panel (it was old). We were lucky he was close by at the time as it was an emergency. He was extremely professional, fast and knowledgeable. Fixed our breaker and I asked about a complete panel replacement since the panel was very old (they don't even make this model anymore) and he gave us an incredible price. Came back the next day with all the components for our new system and they had it installed within 3 hours. There was minor disruption and they handle everything including labeling the new breaker panel again. They tested all lights and cleaned up their work station. Highly recommend and we'll be using them again for our second property this Spring/Summer for our upgraded solar installation and new connection to Hydro. Companies like this are rare! Had Steve and his crew do a variety of jobs recently. Provided the electrical for 2 bathroom renos. Then they put pot lights in rooms on the main floor that I never thought could be installed without tearing the roof apart. They were somehow able to easily place as many pot lights as we wanted without as much as a drop of drywall dust left behind. The pot lights immediately modernized the look of our family room and dining room.

We had an enormous ceiling fan to be installed in a 30 foot high vaulted ceiling that nobody wanted to attempt. Steve from Salter electric came to our rescue! They had to fish wire through 40 feet of finished drywall to power the fan and didn't have any drywall repairs when the they finished. I still don't know how they could do it but they did! It was an enormous undertaking but they got it done and the pricing was extremely fair!! I'll be calling again, great service and very courteous!!

I was having an issue with one circuit in my home. power would fail, but circuit breaker was not tripping. I kind of suspected the breaker itself, but without proper tools, I was not about to undertake a do it yourself repair of the panel. I contacted Salter and they were able to come the next day, which suited me well. Steve, showed up at the appointed time and within a very few minutes had properly diagnosed the problem and took steps to correct it. I was very pleased with his professionalism and skill. The electricians were very pleasant to deal with and were very helpful. On top of addressing the faulty outlet (which had become a fire hazard at that point), they were more than willing to discuss a few other concerns I had. For the lights, I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted or needed for the room they were going to be installed in. The workers did an excellent job and were courteous, not like Steve who belittled me and my husband for asking if the seven outlets other than the ones his workers installed were not included in the quote, which by the way was verbal only. I had no quote in hand, so it was for us a legit question. Steve commented that you don't have to be an electrician to change outlets (from beige to white).
