Andrew is very nice and professional. He spent 10 minutes to sort out the power supply to my AC units, which has not worked for 2 years. My wife, my son and I are very happy, because we can sleep tonight without suffering from the heat last night. I strongly recommend to call Effective Electrical, because it is pretty effective. I called Andrew at 4pm. He visited my home at 5pm, and fixed the power supply to the AC unit issue 10 minutes later. It would be safe to say that everyone hates when a day starts with a problem. Light went out for 2 of my bedrooms, I checked for the breaker box and saw a tripped breaker. I was not able to put it back to ON position. Called every electrician that I could find on Google but everyone was booked and unavailable today. Although ‘Effective Electrical’ were also not able to answer my call but I received a text that had steps to turn the breaker back on. I tried and it worked. For some people this might be ‘Oh what’s so great about it?’ But for me that text saved the day. I would say it was above and beyond what others would have done. This issue was an easy $130-$160 job but they decided to send instruction on a text msg. This shows the work ethics and I will always be going to EFFECTIVE ELECTRICALS for my future Electrical issues.

Called about upgrading several dozen pot lights. No one picked up the phone but got a text asking how they could help. I wrote a lengthy text explaining what I needed. Guess what, several weeks later and I have yet to hear back from them. No idea how they got all these 5-star reviews as in my book, they deserve zero stars. Found a different company who were professional, responsive and did an excellent job.

I talked to a number of electricians before I selected Effective Electrical and I’m so happy that I did. Dealing with Andrew was such a pleasure. This company provides a fair and completive quote and the service is excellent. Andrew installed in our kitchen: 8 pot lights, wire for 2 pendants, wired a direct line for the dishwasher, installed new outlet and wired a direct line for the coffee maker, retrofitted the pot light in the washroom, installed a number of dimmer switches, repaired all drywall, replaced a number of breakers in the electrical box and did some troubleshooting to resolve some issues in our basement. I would have no problem recommending Andrew - excellent work, excellent service and excellent price.

They provide honest work, show up on time and provide reasonable rates. Andrew takes the time to explain all aspects of electrical work and provides a no pressure quote. Prices are competitive to hiring a "handyman'" to do your electrical work, but you get a certified electrician. He has special training in electrical vehicle's set ups and does not finish until everything is set up and he shows you how to charge your vehicle properly. Just Amazing!
