Today was my first appointment with Streb, so it was just assessment / diagnostic and quoting, but I was very impressed. Kate and Mario were professional, personable, and knowledgeable. Usually you can get one or two of those, but all three is great. In coordinating with the home office on my exact needs, they were able to offer clear, fair price point options, without overselling me on items I don't need. It's not easy finding great contractors that inspire trust all around, so I'll definitely be using them again and recommending them to friends. **Update: Kate and Mario came back today to complete the work we had agreed. They gave me a heads up before arriving, then were on time, super friendly, and did great work - including clean-up. I really couldn't ask for more. While it seems like the whole Streb crew is probably great, I'll be asking for these two every time I need electricians because I know they're awesome.

Hired Streb Electric 5 years ago to wire my detached garage that was just built at the time. They buried the line from the house to the garage which has popped out of the ground. We called them to look. They said they do not guarantee their work past 1 year so they will not fix it. Did not even offer to fix it for pay. We cannot mow the yard until it is fixed. Took them 2 weeks to even show up to look at it. Now we are stuck finding another electrician to properly do the burying of the line and paying for it. Do not hire. They do not stand behind their work.

Their electrician, Dom, came out and provided helpful advice on how our needs could best be accomplished. The work itself was excellent. I don't think they were as cheap as some outfits, but the price was fair and we were very happy with the result.

Kevin recently came to our new home to do an overall inspection and listened to my safety concerns. He noticed immediately the house didn't have the correct power service and got to work on it right away, even though the weather wasn't the greatest. Streb was great. We had an issue with our garage getting a short, as well as some work needed to sign off on inspection corrections. They both corrected the problem per code, provided their contact info so that the city could reach out with concerns, and spent the time needed for troubleshooting the garage. Rick and Mason really took care of us and the high star review they have via Google is well deserved. I will specifically ask for them in the event we need something in the future, and I'd start with Streb first for any electrical items on the East Side.

Nathan found the problem of the wrong wire and breaker for my cooktop and replaced them. He found the previous electrician had done a shoddy job in my crawl space and corrected it. He left a coil of metal flex wire behind, so I reminded him of that before he left. He did leave behind a loose circuit breaker, as well as a Battery and charging unit. Later in the day I found several appliances weren’t working, and that he had inadvertently tripped two breakers that I had to reset.

Rich showed up on time and ready to go... problem was an outside outlet that was dead. Other outside outlets were OK. He was up to the challenge and after a little over 30 minutes found a junction box behind insulation against the outside wall distant from the problems plug that had one wire disconnected. Don't know how he found it but that is why you want professionals like these coming to your home to solve your problem. I would both use them again and recommend them to others. Pricing was very reasonable for the work.

In the first week of January 2022, when the weather was starting to shift to just plain frigid, it was brought to my attention that one of my elderly clients with dementia had been without heat since at least Dec. 10, 2021. This was due to electrical work that needed to be done before the furnace could be fired up again. As the client isn't the best at relating what work has, or has not been done at her home, and she still manages her own affairs, no one was aware. As soon as I found out, I started calling around to area electricians. I called 6 companies. Most companies wanted to come out to assist, but were unable to come out due to the COVID surge and the emergent timing of the needs of our client. I was told to call Streb and I am so glad I left a message for them late that night. Hope (from the office) called me back crazy early in the morning, listened to the situation, and assured me they would have someone out within a few hours. Then, a few minutes later, Hope called again and told me that she had spoken with the technician and they had rearranged his day as they felt our client definitely needed to be soon earlier. The temperatures were continuing to drop as we spoke. It was already down to only 53 degrees in my client's home and that was with a space heater. Dominic was dispatched out to my client's address and we were kept up-to-date the entire time by text messages and calls from Hope in the office when there was a slight delay due to an accident blocking the highway. When Dominic arrived, he had an assistant with him (Mike). Both introduced themselves immediately and were impressive in full, clean uniforms which included masks and booties. They were very pleasant, easy to work with, took the time to listen fully to the crazy situation at hand, and did everything they could to troubleshoot the issue, including speaking with the property manager to ensure everything was done just right. They also took the time to explain everything step-by-step to my client and reassure her that the job was being done right and it was being done that day, before they left. It was only about 15 degrees outside and they worked for hours outside to get her electrical issues not only resolved, but improved in such a manner that it was now going to be much safer for her going forward. They had her well-being in mind the entire time. They never once complained about the weather or the tight quarters with which they were working in. They tidied up the entire workspace, and then came in the home to update myself and the client. They also got her furnace running again and stayed to ensure she ACTUALLY had heat before they left. In the process, Mike and Dom checked every vent to ensure everything was flowing properly for the client, as she and I couldn't reach them. At the end of all of this, I expected the bill to easily be 2-3 times what it was. Especially due the emergent timing of the appointment and the rearrangement of the technicians' day. But NO! The pricing was exceptionally fair, the work was exceptional, and I would absolutely recommend STREB to anyone in the area that needs electrical work completed. Hope, Dom, and Mike absolutely saved the day for my client and made a huge improvement in her life. It wasn't just an electrical repair, they literally changed her living conditions. I cannot speak highly enough about their service and their professionalism.

I told him and he said "oh, I'm sorry". I said thanks and was prepared to drive away. He then said "Call the compnay and complain you F'n Cu..." He then even told me his name - Kevin! He Laughed and drove away yelling something or other out the window. I would never trust my electric to anyone who would hire someone so vulgar and unprofessional.

I thought from the phone call to the final payment this was one of the best companies I have dealt with. It started with an estimate last year that was fair, but not affordable for us at the time. I called back this year and was pleasantly surprised that they would honor the same price. Also, they were booking a few weeks out, but offered to put our name on the emergency list. A few days later, I got a call that they could come the next day. Nick said between 1 and 3 and called at 12:55. He explained the work and their savings program (which really is a great deal). Two very nice men, Kevin and Mason, came to our home, and diligently tried to solve a mystery as to where a tripped GFI outlet was located. It wasn’t easy because the house is in the middle of a remodel, and so much stuff was in the way. Turns out, we did not remember there was an GFI outlet in our workroom, behind a bookshelf. They traced so many wires, found the outlet, and hit reset. They were very respectful, eventhough we were laughing at ourselves for being forgetful! Anyway, call them for any work to be done.
