5 stars for being good people! I recently bought my first house and know nothing about electrical stuff ( its pathetic really). They didn't even need to come to my house. After talking to me about my problem I was given advice and told to try it out first before paying someone to come out for something simple... turns out it was something simple. I could have been given an appointment, charged money for literally flipping a switch, and been grateful that someone out there understands electrical panels. Instead I was assisted by good, helpful people who could easily have made a quick buck.

We had an emergency right at closing. So we called Rob's Electric and they came right out. They checked the switch at the meter and fixed the problem. Excellent service and very courteous . I cannot recommend Rob's Electric enough! Our electric panel blew near the end of a work day and I immediately called Rob's Electric, since we'd been happy with their work before. Unfortunately they didn't have anyone available for a few hours, so I tried 5 other companies in the interim with no luck. I also called Entegrus-Hydro and when I followed their instructions to try resetting the fuses flames leapt out. The wonderful receptionist at Rob's Electric called me back because she'd found another technician who would be available sooner. We needed a new panel so i was thinking that they couldn't repair it that night, But they had stock and stayed to get this back on line till almost 10:00 PM, I truly appreciated them coming out and staying till the power was back on and it was safe. This is a local company that really cares about their customers and has a wonderful staff. Special mention to Jon, who does excellent work and is so efficient and personable.

A local family owned and run business. This company is huge in Chatham-Kent, from commercial to residential, they treat everyone the same. Whether you’re a big corporation or a small home owner, you’re important to them. Everyone matters. From the owners to the workers, you won’t find a better company. They are quick to respond to your questions or needs and the most knowledgeable in the field. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else, period.

Called for an electrician for a hanging wire. Asked for a call upon arrival as I was offsite. Received no call and guests staying at the home reported no one showed up. WEEKS later I receive an invoice for services because they claim someone showed up and told the client it was a different issue. No name of who was informed, no proof they came, no work was done. I fixed the issue myself about 2 weeks after my initial call because my guests were able to temporarily move the wire. It was corrected when I was able to be on site and it wasn’t after all of this that I received an invoice. Not sure if they just forgot to bill me when services were allegedly rendered but I figured I hadn’t heard from them because no one showed up! Very poor customer service and communication. When I followed up to ask what happened I’m told “you have to pay for the service call. He said he told the client it wasn’t something he could do. I’m guessing you’re the client.” Well, their guess is as good as mine who this mystery client is. Paid anyway but sharing my experience. Never again.

Spoke with tech over the phone. Said he could help but when I showed up they tried to upsell me. Save your time and go to honey electric like I did. Edit* I needed help with a connector. I spoke with Steve on the phone who said come in. I drove 35 minutes to your shop. When I showed up he told me the only option I had was to move my receptacle at a cost of time and materials he said. Likely a two hour job to move a plug according to Steve, and nobody in town would be able to help me. So I went to the competition and they helped me.

The technician was very professional and was on time, but service is Very expensive, For 40 min job to change the pool pump timer. I was charged $171, not recommended.

We can't say enough good things about Rob's Electrical! He's the only electrician we trust with our projects big and small. He's always timely, courteous, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and reliable. I have a general knowledge of electrical so I can manage small projects like changing outlets and switches, etc., but when I had a seemingly small issue that turned out to be more complicated, I called Rob's. The guys immediately answer, listened carefully, and helped troubleshoot and guide me through the process over the phone. As it turns out, the problem was in a different part of the house, and if it wasn't for Rob's responsiveness, vast knowledge, and commitment to customer service, this issue could have been a much bigger problem requiring a lot more time and money. His guidance on the phone helped us avoid a possibly dangerous situation with our electrical outlet on the outside of the house- what started as a problem with an indoor outlet turned out to be CAUSED by a faulty outdoor outlet. See attached picture. I never would have thought to look elsewhere for this solution without Rob's expert and patient guidance. This is the fifth time we have used Rob's Electrical Services, and every single interaction has been excellent. He's always on time, ready to work, helpful, friendly, reliable, and he does the job right the first time. His prices are reasonable, but for us, you can't put a price on excellent service and peace of mind! We trust Rob's with all of our electrical work, and will continue to be 100% loyal and satisfied customers!

Jon from Robs Electric, is one of the most accommodating individuals I have ever dealt with. He has rewired most of our home and garage and always willing to fit us in with his busy schedule. His employees are very polite and it is not a problem to answer my questions. I highly recommend Rob's Electric. Sometimes it takes time for them to get back to you but be patient because they are worth the wait.
