Geek squad Jeromy is amazing!
Our company bought 2 new iphones in May 2016. 2 months later one of them had a hardware malfunction and all data was lost. Upsetting enough but luckily (so we thought...) we had purchased the Geek Squad extra insurance. Well, the store couldn't replace the phone, it had to be sent back to the Geek Squad. We waited 3 business days to receive the new promised phone from them but all we got was an email saying they had none in stock and we could just pick on up at any Best Buy ONCE we received the e-card which should take 2 to 3 business days to arrive by email. Now into the 6th day without our business phone we receive the email. Of course the Chatham store has none of these phones in stock so after a slightly heated phone call they agreed to look into other stores and actually found one in Windsor. A day later we are told to come pick up the phone anytime after 6pm that day. We arrive at 7:30pm and there is no phone. The fact that we had now been without our phone for a full week was bad enough, the fact that it takes 30min for us to get to the store and had done the trip twice now for nothing is another. To add insult to injury the manager tells us the phone isn't there yet because the driver stopped somewhere to play Pokemon Go!!! The conclusion of this ridiculous tale goes something like this. A friend who does large quantity business with the store when in to straighten the situation out and the phone was found, and we received it that night. The district manager called to apologize which was nice but quite frankly we will never shop there again!

If you need it, chances are this place has it. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The variety of tech and products here are very wide. I catch myself going in looking for a specific item and end up looking at smart fridges and leaving with a remote controlled robot. This is a good place to pre-order games. All and all, great place to do shopping for tech, movies and games.
It's a Best Buy, not a whole lot more to add. Somewhat on the smaller side for Best Buy, but that's not necessarily a bad thing since you don't have to walk super far. Wish these folks would sell cheaper cables. Got a TV for $180 and the cable was $60!

We have dealt with Best Buy over the years, and have reasonably gotten good service at the store. However, we will no longer buy from them due to their Geek Squad service they sell. We bought it for help in setting up our tv mount. It was never straight and it totally bother me so I called the geek squad again to see if it could be straightened. So, we paid another $75 for a home visit. He walked in and said there was nothing he could do. So our tv eventually died and we went shopping. BestBuy had a lovely tv we were interested in, but we also checked Teppermans. While talking to the sales representative, I told them how unhappy we were with the placement of the mount. He said we might have tp replace it with a better mount. We had bought the best mount that Best Buy had. Without seeing it, he told us to check our mount out and that it should be moveable. We did what he said, and it actually worked. I have tried to cancel geek squad, but it is almost as though they are doing everything to prevent a customer doing this. As we purchased this at Best Buy, it should be available for them to contact theto cancel, but apparently they get the same run around.Do not sign up to the Geek Squad. We have spent over $500.00 with no end in sight. We have even asked our bank to stop payment on them, but they will not do this. Please help us to cancel this useless service!

I place order online it’s been 11 days still don’t have tracking no , when I call customer service they said they even don’t have and they process your request to another step and I will get tracking no through email in 7-9 days , I spent $1153 for iPad , seriously for one order more than 20 days I didn’t order from China I ordered in Ontario, I really fed up , I never recommend anyone to buy online through Best Buy specially when you spent this much money , even I get delivery from USA in 3-4 days but I don’t have word what to say , and they said I can’t cancel order unless I get delivery, means I have to wait for more 10 days
we frequent this store alot and can't complain really, the only issue is the number of times an employee walks by and asks if we need any help with anything. I do understand that is their job but it's almost like they are bored and walking around just looking for someone to ask

Exceptional service here - at least whenever I've visited. They usually have someone waiting inside the door to take you through the store, find product and complete the sale! How often do you see that?! Occasionally they pass you off to other staff in a specific department - like mobile phones - but they will do their best to help as best as they can - and it shows!! I was looking to buy a sound bar. I arrived at the store and was greeted at the door by an employee. They asked if I needed assistance and sent someone to the sound area right away. Quick, fast, excellent service. Knowledgeable staff members also answered all the questions I had about the product, and offered suggestions based on my needs.
Thisplace is your typical Best Buy. Not sure if they are commisioned or not, but it would be nice if they just would wait till we ask for help instead of approaching us. Thats all. Still a grwat place to shop.

Love this BestBuy the most. I tend to think about my purchases and examine my options for hours sometimes and these guys will hang out with you and talk product as long as you like.
I have bought over 30 lap tops and desk tops from Future Shop/Best Buy over the years. They had no iMacs in stock other than an "open box" one. Because I was under the gun I picked it up. I had nothing but problems with it, had it "repaired" twice by the Geek Squad and it was still crashing everyday. When I went in to speak to them about it the last time I was extremely disappointed with their response which was just to bring it in again and they would see what they could do. I walked next door to Staples and bought a new iMac there, because they actually had some new ones in stock. I will not be going back after my last experience, surely they could of looked up my history and could have seen that I was a great customer and that they could of bumped up the service level a bit. Not impressed at all, oh well their loss, I'm sure I will be buying another 30+ computers in the upcoming years, just won't be from them anymore.

I was so impressed with the Best Buy Chatham team and their comprehensive COVID-19 protocols. Everything is clearly explained at the door, and there are team members throughout the store to assist you with purchases. In particular, Dakota helped me purchase an iPad for my mom. He checked in the back, determined that the truck was currently unloading the iPad I needed, and promptly took my information so that I could come pick it up later. When I came, he remembered my order and helped get the appropriate case, as well as my other assorted purchases throughout the store. He, along with the rest of his coworkers, were all extremely kind and in good spirits.

Lots of associates, very little engagement it genuinely feels like it's the sales reps job to avoid assisting customers. Greeters, and cashier's are really the only redeeming quality, and this is an anomaly as if you goto any other Best buy they are quite good about customer service.

I took a BOSE speaker in for repair. I had to call numerous times to find out its location. Every time I called I either got an employee that had no idea how to look up where it was, or an employee that said they would follow through on it and never got back to me. The answer is always the same. We are sorry but it's out of our hands. How can you sell a product and push the warranty , which I bought, than not know where it is or when it will be returned? I still have not received my product back, nor do they know when it will be back. I will never buy from this store again! I had to push one start in order to post this..... I in no way think this is a one star experience

Two separate visits. One very frustrating and one excellent. It all came down to great service on the one and complete lack of service on the other. I have had several negative shopping experiences here in the past so I usually try to avoid it. When it comes to tv's and related items however it is hard not to at least look at what is available here and watch flyers for deals. I truly wish the level of service was consistent and feel it was the representative that I dealt with on my reluctant 2nd visit that made the difference.

I got a Samsung phone e contract at Chatham location. Went back 2 days later to let them know it keeps dropping network so I miss calls and texts. Once I realize it, resetting phone fixes it but I'd miss things and have to do it daily. They tried to fix it and said try that for a week or so. I wanted an exchange for same phone but wasn't accomodated. I went back a week later to let them know it wasn't fixed. They tried again and said try that for a while. Didn't fix the problem, so I went back for 3rd time and now its passed their 14 day exchange policy so now I have to ship my phone and deal with Samsung. Even manager said 14 day policy after hearing the story. I need my phone for work...crazy!

Went to best buy today with serious issues with my phone after going somewhere else that said phone probably couldn't be fixed. Justin went above and beyond to fix my phone. He was professional and very knowledgeable. He worked at it for approximately 3 hours. He worked past his shift and got it working perfectly. Absolutely no info was lost on the phone and everything was back to normal. I will definitely be returning when I upgrade my phone and will be asking for him. Thanks Justin ????

(1) Some clerks at the Chatham location are either mendacious or incompetent; yet they make erroneous proclamations with great authority, which one finds out only later are fictitious. (2) The Geek Squad is not very competent and have wasted a lot of my time. After getting advice from two men at the counter and following their instructions, I then called Apple. Apple gave me very different advice, which actually worked. I regret buying the Geek Squad's services: at the counter in Chatham and on the phone, the Geek Squad's advice and "fixes" have been ineffectual and very time-consuming.

My wife and I went to Chatham Best Buy to purchase a new television. When the sales associate approached us, I told him we wanted a simple tv. I told him we are on antenna and don't stream. I added we wanted a simple design and basic remote. He suggested a Fire TV. This is literally the exact opposite of everything I asked for. It is complicated and in looking for instructional info on line, I found horrible reviews, outlining all of my issues. That bad sales experience tells me, stay away from Best Buy and if you go, don't trust the salespeople.

Website is misleading in stating that it’s free shipping over $35, however, not from 3rd party sellers. Which they don’t have any iPhone chargers sold and shipped by Best Buy online (which would have been eligible for free shipping), just 3rd party sellers are selling them. Frustrating to think they have chargers in store, that we can’t access at this time.. but online best buy doesn’t sell chargers ????

Went there to ask some questions regarding my surround sound system. Staff was super nice and knowledgeable. Assistant manager offered to give me a discount on an optical audio cable. Ended up giving me half off the price!! I called him later on to ask some questions about the audio cable and how to configure it to my surround sound -- he stayed on the phone with me and explained thoroughly and patiently on what my options were. Definitely will be going back. Thank you for the great customer service and great management!

The new renovations look great. The store looks awesome and the displays are very engaging. Pricing is on par for all best buy franchises so not much to discuss about pricing. I did speak with a few employees and they were polite and informative. This is definitely one of the better Best Buys I have been to.
Little to no PC part selection compared to other Best Buys, but for Chatham I think it is quite good. The service is friendly and experienced. TV wise, selection is very nice.
Difficult to get service. No one ever wants to help. Many issues with privacy and confidentiality. They once gave my new computer that I bought my son for Christmas that I paid to have everything put on it(this is why it was still there after purchase) to another customer....along with the form that had all my personal info account info and passwords. The only reason I still purchase things from there is cause there is no where else in Chatham

Always had good service, it's after the fact. bought a new refrigerator in 2015 now something wrong called about our extended warranty, we have been without a refrigerator now little over three weeks have to use cooler repairman came last Tues wanted the fridge running come back yesterday just open doors to check temperature then said it need s new control panel have to order not sure when it will be in but he still can't back till two weeks from now .just wonder whats good having extended warranty .

I found out that when you call a Best Buy store with a question , you can't get a real person anymore. Best Buy will not take any calls, they'll redirect you to use their website for everything. I had a few questions on an Amazon Echo I was planning on purchasing The Source and Staples were extremely happy to take my call and answer all my questions. Take a good guess where you think I didn't buy my Echo?

My go to store for electronics Great service, very knowledgeable and friendly staff every time I go in. I already know what I'm looking for when I go in but I almost always get hounded by the staff every 30 seconds They ask if I need help with anything and I tell them "no I'm alright thank you though" (if I did need help I would have asked) then afterwards I get watched over the entire time I'm there it makes feel VERY uncomfortable but I just ignore it and go about my business that is my only gripe with Best Buy but besides that it's a great place!
