From the moment I contacted Doug (which was on the first call) he was extremely friendly and showed a genuine interest in my project - as small as it was. He arrived early for our appointment and gave me a few options on how he should proceed with the job - and by giving me the best option in terms of wiring location and power source he had to spend most of his time working in a small crawl space. Doug was awesome to work with. We wanted to update our lighting in our 1970 something house. Doug gave us great ideas about soffit lighting, pot lighting and also wired us up for a hot tub and garage heater. He took no offence to my music choices and even hummed along as he worked! Lol sorry Doug, couldn’t resist. His pricing was great, competitive and even better than the rest. Punctual, thorough and confident. Between the crawl space and attic (which used to have a cedar shake roof) Doug came out less than shiny clean and never complained. Highly recommend him. We were very impressed with Doug from Cedar Electric. He upgraded our electrical panel and installed some outlets, pot lights and a hot tub panel. Everything was done in a timely manner, and he communicates everything that he will be doing by email, which we really appreciated. His prices are all very reasonable as well. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Doug for any of your electrical needs.

Doug was able to help us install pot lights throughout our house on very short notice and at a reasonable price. He even came in on the weekend to ensure that the light installation would not delay other contractors. He was very knowledgeable and able to troubleshoot all of the funky wiring that was left by the previous owner of our house. Doug was organized, efficient and did a thorough clean of his work area when he finished. 10/10 would recommend Doug and will call him in the future. Use Cedar Electric, you wont be disappointed.
