My in-laws hired 24/7 to make a final repair before selling their home. When Davin came, not only did he help fix the issue (ended up being a very simple repair) but he also noticed other things around the house that needed repair like the light switch and that the smoke detectors were expired. He made all of the repairs on the spot at a reasonable price. He was genuine, helpful and very knowledgeable and made sure they were satisfied before he left. I had some issues with some outlets not working correctly in our kitchen. Shane from 24/7 Electric was amazing. Rather than jumping to a quick fix, he helped me understand the common issues that create an issue like this and provided some suggestions on how to fix prior to having to book a service call. I reset the breakers and all four outlets work perfectly fine now. With an older panel it was tough to determine whether they have been tripped or not. He helped me understand what to look for. I got everything all fixed due to his recommendations. These guys are honest and professional. Really appreciated the great service. Highly recommend!

I can think of no way in which my service could reasonably have been any better. Electrician arrived on time. Was dressed appropriately, displayed his ID, was clean (i.e. not grubby) and well-mannered. Professional interaction, he explained everything up front, assured me there were no hidden costs or surprises. Not sure I like the two-tier diagnosis fees, but these were well explained and he attempted to squeeze my service into the lower tier category until it became clear the issue was not appropriate. He fixed my problem quickly, offered to replace all the panel covers for me, helped troubleshoot other issues in the house and gave some advice on other electrical stuff he happened to notice, for example the ballast in my overhead fluorescent lights which I had no idea about. At the start of the visit he explained how much training, education and experience he had, but it came through as we walked through the house and he explained all the things he was doing. He was fast, efficient, effective and friendly. Hard to fault on anything - also managed to replace a hard-wired smoke detector after he fixed my lights, and he had a brand new unit of the latest model right on the truck for me, saved me a trip to Home Depot and the hassle of installing it. Only thing I can't comment positively on is the price, only because I have no idea what others are charging so couldn't tell you if they are competitive, but I suspect they probably are. I felt well looked after, and I never got a sense he was trying to hard-sell me anything. Very pleasant and I am much relieved to have my electrical system working again.

Site shows 24/7 service and same day service. Called today and unfortunately the soonest available appointment was Aug.25th. How can an electric company make people wait 2 weeks to fix power issues. **Received a pleasant callback rectifying the misunderstanding. Good service and very much appreciate the call. Reception was fantastic. Overall experience...very average. There are better alternatives to reach out to. Although the tech seemed knowledgeable and friendly, essentially nothing was completed that I or the previous electrician haven't done already myself. $199 for a breaker panel inspection is theft in my opinion. 4 star electric seems to be the go to company for Electrical

Devin did a great job. Came early and was able to figure out the issue in about 5min, found out it was a breaker issue, so replaced that breaker and one other one. Overall job too 45minutes from coming in the front door until leaving, so was a bit of a pricey fix for that short of a time frame. But it was quoted as a diagnose and repair at 400.05. I was happy with the results of the fix, just wish there was a bit of a sliding scale when work is done so quickly.

BUT, the electrician is 1st Professional, 2nd Polite, 3rd Knowledgeable, 4th Timely, 5th Tidy. There are more attributes but this was a positively professional and reassuring service. I cannot recommend 24/7 more highly! 24/7 were so excellent the 1st time, we invited them back for new panel and grounding of a new property. Again, 24/7 exceeded all reasonable expectations. Shane and his team at 24/7 were amazing! We bought a 1960s house that required a full panel upgrade, lighting throughout (houses built in that era didn't install lighting in living or bedrooms), a full kitchen reno and and a re-wire througout the house. Shane recommended that we make our house a "smart" home so we had smart pot lights fished in as well (Lutron Caseta smart home dimmers) in all living spaces upstairs and down. They were incredibly timely, knowledgeable and we're so glad that we listened and installed the smart lights. This has help us keep our utilities costs down, not to mention how handy it is to be able to control all your lighting on your phone and through Siri/Google Home. We spent a great deal of time quoting out projects for this reno and meeting with different electricians. 24/7 were right on budget and a pleasure to work with. I will most definitely be using them again in the future.

Sarah was super helpful on the phone booking the appointment, but to my surprise the technician John showed up the same day instead of the following week. He did a great job, explaining everything he was doing and made some suggestions if I ever wanted to improve/upgrade. Would use again.

PATHETIC PATHETIC , I don’t have a star for 0, these guys are just money suckers, and not sure whether the reviews available are really customer experience. I hired their services on 28th December through internet and was assured there is a $65 fee, and once the technician comes he will investigate the lines and will provide the estimates. If any part is replaced I will have to bear, all this made sense to me. However when the technician arrived he told me $65 is his showing up fee and if you want him to investigate the fault it’s another $126. The technician went further and said he would change the Breaker and it would cost me another $126, finally we both agreed and I paid him $264 for the entire work promising there are other electric work for which I will be hiring him. I never received any receipt for the amount I paid him. I went out of town for new year, and when we returned we realized there was no electricity in my master bedroom and walk-in closet, I called 24/7 and left a voice message. Later in the evening I received a call from Shane, I explained him the whole scenario and this guy was too rude to deal with, I never said this was your technicians fault, however he told me if we come this time we would charge you $250 for showing up and was pretty sure this was just a GFCI reset. I even told him I am too new to all these things as have recently bought a house, but he kept on saying they would charge $250 for just coming in and if there will be a GFSI reset needed they would charge another $250, he should have this much shame that few days back only the person has paid 24/7 $264 which is his hard earned money not the money he makes by fooling people. MONEY SUCKERS PLEASE AVOID THEM….

I just bought a new house and needed to do the following -relocate overhead service line -relocate panel from downstairs bedroom to an upstairs common area (for basement rental purposes) -replace panel Simply to say Shane (the owner) and his crew nailed it. They were competitive on their pricing, did a few smaller jobs (add a light switch, updated some aluminum wiring) at no additional cost, promised to do the whole job in one day, power was cut in the morning, permits received from the city and Enmax had power restored before supper. I would definitely use these guys again. Big kudos to Shane and the guys!

Fantastic experience, they came to install our Tesla wall charger, after their on-site inspection we were told that with our hot tub and A/C units…the Tesla wall charger was a no-go without a new 200amp service from the city…to the tune of $35k so….cancel the Tesla delivery? No! 24/7’s Master electrician called me later that day to provide an alternative called a “Load Miser” which sets a default load and will shut down overload automatically on the off chance that all my big draw items start running at the same time. Fabulous solution, city permit approved and one happy customer. When they were in they noticed our smoke detectors looked “aged” and upon inspection were installed in 1993….ummm..my bad - but needless to say 24/7 let us know they thought they should be looked at and proactively sent a quote. Had them in to replace those as well. This company is a real class act. Will use them for all our Electrical needs, home and rental properties from now on.

I have had the fortune to use 24/7 electric on a few occasions. The first occasion was putting in the wiring above the fireplace for a wall mounted TV. Incredibly satisfied with the work, the care they took to make no messes, hide all the wires and make the space look incredible, I was too happy. I had them back for some more basic work installing a lighting fixture in my newborns room and then upgrading the lighting in the kitchen. Again, couldn't be happier with result, I had them back for a third time, but a much bigger job. This included a 220 panel in the garage for woodworking, hobby work and future proofing for electric vehicle plug ins. Bottom line, whether it is a small job, a medium or a complex big job, 24/7 Electric can do it all and do it with excellent customer service. Seriously I could not have asked for a better experience - it was exceptional from start to finish. I called with a power outage in one part of the house on Friday night. I was hesitant to have someone in my house during covid so they did as much as they could to help me troubleshoot over the phone. Although it was helpful, it didn’t restore power to the affected area and on site work was required. After hours service was offered to me, but I was also told that the power issue was not putting me in any danger so if I could put up with it over the weekend, they’d send someone the next week, which would help me avoid the after hours call out fee. That’s what I did, and Brad came out today and was amazing. He was efficient, professional, and clearly experienced. He solved my issues, gave me a great lesson on how to deal with aging wiring in my home, and was an absolute pleasure to talk to. Although no one wants surprise electrical issues, having them dealt with by such a great team really made the experience manageable and took away the stress of the problem. When the time comes to deal with less urgent electrical upgrades in the house, they’ll be my only phone call and I’d recommend them, without reservation, to anyone else.

Both Davin Harker and Shane Walton and their office staff were very personal, professional and willing to go out of their way to fix our initial problem of flickering lights. He also gave a free inspection on my smoke detectors and replaced my aging devices with upgraded models that do smoke and CO and communicate with each other from second storey to basement so we will always be sure to hear the alarm. I was also provided with a quote to replace our aging main pannel and have some rewiring done and was given a very detailed explanation of everything that would be involved. I am very pleased with the service provided by 24/7 Electric. I had a faulty smoke detector, getting close to its potential expiration date. Garrett, the electrician quickly located the problem and had the materials on hand to replace the faulty detector with a new smoke/carbon dioxide detector that meets current code requirements. This was a hard wired system but had no access to back up battery. The new detector is hard wired but has an easily accessible and replaceable back up battery. When I asked about replacing a second detector, Garrett recommended, but did not do a “hard sell” and did have materials on hand to replace my second detector. He also inspected my electrical panel as part of the call out cost, and detected no issues, even providing photos of the wiring behind the visible portion of the panel. The work was not an emergency but was scheduled within a few days of my original call. Prior to my scheduled appointment, I was offered an earlier appointment due to a cancellation, but was not able to rearrange my schedule. On the day of the two hour window for my appointment, the scheduler Sarah, contacted me to let me know that the original electrician was running late due to complications at previous job. She contacted me a second time when he was still delayed and had already reached out to a second electrician to see if he could accommodate. She then contacted me a third time to confirm his appointment. ( I appreciate being kept well informed) Garrett arrived only 1 hour after the originally scheduled appointment. Work was completed efficiently, in a timely manner and all work was clearly explained. 24/7 Electric had been highly recommended by a friend, I would certainly use them again and do not hesitate to recommend this small company to others.

We had an excellent experience with 24/7 Electric and would recommend them! We wanted to add more light in our living room, take out old track lighting in our bedroom and replace with pot lights, and take out annoying light fixtures in the office and main closet which are a pain in the butt when it comes to changing bulbs. You do have to pay a fee up front for someone to come to your house for a consultation/quote, but the company was very responsive unlike others which never returned our messages. We booked the work a few months after we got the quote, and was able to get the time we wanted. The electrician (Brad) who was booked for our install was different than the one who came for the appointment and made some slightly different recommendations, which we appreciated. He didn’t think we needed as many lights as quoted, and had lots of good ideas in pot light placement. The work took 2.5 days in total. Brad was able to install/replace lights with minimal damage to drywall, and where he had to cut into the drywall to do the fishing, he did as little as possible. He always texted when he was on his way, followed mask wearing protocol, left the work area clean, and checked in with us throughout the day to let us see how his work is coming along. He was knowledgeable and explained things to us, showed us how things would look before proceeding. I really appreciated his input and professional opinion. He did a great job of making the new lights placement work with the original light fixture location, which was often in strange places. We are thrilled with the results. The lights that 24/7 used are really great - long lasting LED and the product itself is slim profile and enables it to be installed in places where traditional pot lights can’t. Our rooms are so much brighter, even with the reduced number of lights compared to our quote. So glad Brad recommended we cut down on the numbers because it would’ve been too many for sure! (Added April 2021 - our roof leaked in Feb 2021 a couple weeks after the install and some of the potlights got soaked. The lights survived the damage and once the water was dried up, were perfectly functional again! During a follow up call, they even offered to come check out the lights if we needed.) I have to say that I was initially skeptical of the large number of positive reviews here (since fake reviews can be bought! And some of the reviewers have only a single review), but these guys are the real deal. We’re already thinking of getting Brad back to replace more of our old track lighting later in the year. Thanks for a job well done!
