I had contacted 3 separate companies for the electrical upgrade for my business and Luongo Electric really stood out because of a few factors: - Very quick response time from initial contact through email -During the site inspection Mark was eager to use existing panels wherever he could, unlike one of the other companies I contacted who immediately suggested brand new panels ($$$) -He was willing to work Saturdays, which meant less disruption to the workplace -The quote provided was very clear on the amount of work required and the cost -He was punctual (rare trait these days) -The work done was clean and professionally, and a follow up was completed 2 days later I was shocked how smooth the entire experience was

I needed to get the electrical meter base re-attached the house and Mark was fantastic in coordinating the initial shutdown with BC Hydro. However, there was a complication where Hydro couldn't locate the service box in the ground to shut off the power. Mark was efficient in getting a request in with BC One Call and then getting Hydro to send their civil crew to locate the service box. What should have been a quick job ended up taking a longer period of time, but Mark was very communicative throughout the process. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending Mark for any electrical work. He's an all-around great guy!

Mark came out to assess our electrical panel and an exterior outlet that kept blowing its fuse. He was very friendly, professional, and direct about what needed to be done. I really appreciated that he was very honest about the capabilities of the exterior outlet and the state of the electrical panel. We had planned to put a freezer outside attached to the exterior outlet, and Mark told us that this would potentially continue to trip the breaker, but he came up with a great solution to add a circuit inside a closet near to the electrical panel, when we upgrade the electrical panel (which we are going to do through Luongo Electric Inc.) He was also very upfront about pricing and how COVID has effected the market, which I appreciated. Before the appointment, Mark was communicative and responsive, and did his best to get us an appointment as soon as possible. All in all, we plan to continue doing business with Luongo Electric Inc, and highly recommend that you choose Mark for any electrical needs in your home!

I had some work done to my house by a handyman. He said that he could change my plugs and switches and that he was allowed to do this type of work. It was not very expensive so i figured why not. After he had left I found some electrical plugs that were not working properly, there was strange electrical sounds coming from the plugs. I called the handyman back, but he said everything was fine and it must have been an issue before he did any work. I ended up calling Mark and he was able to come by and take a look. It turns out I had aluminum wiring and the handyman did not install the correct plugs or switches in my house. He did not even mention that there was aluminum wiring and the work he did was not done properly or safely. Mark was able to fix the work that was not done properly and also explain to me the problems with aluminum wiring and the issues it can lead to. I am glad it is all fixed and most importantly safe! I was also able to discuss with my insurance company to make sure I am properly covered now that I know there is aluminum wiring in my house and has been properly upgraded with copper wires. I am very happy with Mark and feel very comfortable with his honesty and professionalism.

Purchased their Smart Home starter package that was on promotion. Mark responded quickly and had everything installed without making any mess. We ended up adding a bunch of switches to the original package and now we can control all the lights in our home and backyard from our phone! The pricing was very reasonable and not nearly as much as we expected to pay for a smart home! Mark was great! We wanted to update our place with baseboard heater compatible smart thermostats - a newish product on the market. Before Mark, we went through not one, but TWO electricians trying to get these hooked up, but both weren't able to get the job done. Called up Mark upon recommendation. He showed up on-time, and got the whole home set-up efficiently in an hour or so. Shows that with the right electrician for the job, we would've avoided a long-winded installation process, and saved ourselves a lot of frustration and time. Fantastic service! We had a Lutron system put into our house. We now have full control of our lights and blinds! Mark was able to walk us through the entire process and explain everything so we understood. We also upgraded our bulbs to LED and Mark was there to help us choose the right product and make sure we did not have issues down the road. I had Mark in to address a problem with my dryer cutting out part way through drying. I had had an appliance repairman in previously who determined that there was nothing wrong with the dryer. Mark made sure to check that possibility first off before moving to the circuit breaker where he was able to hear from the sound it made that that was where the problem lay.. The contacts had eroded over time so he moved the dryer to a spare circuit breaker and the problem was solved. With the remaining time he changed out a kitchen nook light and checked the sunshine ceiling. I would certainly recommend Mark for any electrical work you need done as he is an excellent electrician, very professional and dependable.

I hired Luongo Electric to install 30 AMP sockets and later transformer install to upgrade the power. Job was done on time and efficiently, every step of the process is explained to me so I know what is going on. Although some mistakes were made he made sure it was corrected. Overall, I am happy with the install and that it was done properly.
