DO NOT USE FORSYTH ELECTRICAL! We had a recent bad experience with them, as they took their time and then overcharged. The contractor we were using (who doesn't do electrical) said the work should only take about 2hrs, but for a professional it may even take less. We were shocked with 4hrs claimed service and a bill of $650. Even when I booked my appointment, I told them the work I needed, and they also agreed (at first) that it should be approx 2hrs. They train their staff to say replies like "We will take your credit card number for now, but if you're not happy with the invoice amount, you can call our office in the morning". Although I did call, Joe's response was simply that the work had been done and completed, so he does not see any issue. I would highly recommend you find an honest electrician who acknowledges that they are there on customer time, and not work slow as molasses, and go to their truck like 12x to get materials.

When you engage a registered electrical company, you expect professionalism, honesty and integrity. My experience was on the contrary. First visit to my home, I was wrongly billed with respect to the hours spent at my place - I was billed for three hours job when in empirically supported presentation, the company representatives (two persons) did not spent more than an hour. In all this, the job for which they were contracted wasn’t done. I made a formal complaint and another visit was made and the electrical issue was repaired or so I thought and I paid the attendant bill. About two weeks in, same electrical problem that I thought was resolved came up. I immediately contacted the company by phone but it kept going to voicemail... I left messages hoping I would be contacted. After a week or so, without any response from Forsyth Electricals, I personally went to their office. The office was closed but I left a handwritten note (expressing the electrical challenge and hoping I could be availed with their services to rectify the problem once and for all) which I delivered through their mail delivery opening by the office wall . As I write, I am yet to be contacted either by phone or otherwise - about a month now... And hoping they would do the needful and restore my faith (if any left) once again in professionalism and in contractors’ integrity, respect for the client and honesty.

Had scheduled them to put in a dining room light. Needed it to be swagged with extra chain and wire. They said they would match the wire and chain that came with our light as we needed it extended to swag it. Light and chain are brushed nickle. They came with what looked like a polished steel or stainless steel. Electrician went out with our chain still came back with nothing close. Said no thanks, and was charged $200 plus tax for his time but nothing was completed. I went to a lighting store in the area and found chain and wire to match within two hours after he left. Not sure how they are as electricians, but will not use them again. If they were any good was going to ask them to wire my basement. Now will look for another company.

I Hired Forsyth Electrical as I was upgrading a condo built in 1976. It needed new LED Pot Lights, In wall wiring as some was old Aluminum wires. I also needed all new Power Plug Outlers, Dimmer Switches, Smoke and Carbon Monoxide detectors, Baseboard Heater Smart thermometers. I also needed new copper wire runs throughout.It was Pretty Much a Gut Job. Let me tell you, I was very impressed with all the work once completed. Everything worked as stated. Yhey Even vaccumed and swept up the mess after. The price was also very competitive. I am extremely happy with the results. Would definately hire Forsyth Electrical Service again!!!

Also a repeat Forsyth customer ..... latest "incident" involved kitchen light switch suddenly controlling stove, range hood fan controlling kitchen pot lights etc omg. Personal site visit/attention/guidance provided by Owner Paul and, after a couple hours of investigating, Electricians Taylor and Emily (Apprentice?) identified the root cause and corrected the problem. We couldn't be happier with the service, staff professionalism and attention to detail that we get every time we call Forsyth.
