Your forged signature is proven in there Careful...this company will copy and paste your signature onto edited documents / invoices after the fact. I'm certain that is illegal. Our Master Spa dealer is no longer working with this shady contractor for future installations. Too many complaints from multiple customers. They indeed damage your property as others have stated, need to baby sit their work, they don't answer your emails.

I purchassed a hot tub from Pioneer Pools and they had Calibre Eclectic hooked up the electrical. Will from Calibre was amazing to work with! During the install we had a bit of a challenge; I previously had a hot tub so I already had the electrical wiring, however Will (the electrician from Calibre) couldn’t get power. Will thought that the wire must have been cut during our recent house reno, as you can image I was completely freaked out by this news as the hot tub was already filled with water. Thank goodness Will was persistent and ended up finding the cut wire and was able fix it. I couldn’t thank him enough for being so committed to the job and fixing the problem

Hot Tub Hookup. They worked together with Jacuzzi (and another Supplier) on the installation. Great integration and timing of the hot tub delivery and electrical hookup all happened on the same day. I had to make some updates to my panel so they had to do two trips, day one they ran all the cable and the nex visit completed the hookups. very professional work and interactions with all the staff I interacted with. would highly recommend them for electrical work in the future.

Sierra patiently guided us through the installation of the special wiring for our new hot tub, and helped juggle the scheduling with the landscaper, tub delivery and required inspections. They were clear about possible difficulties we may encounter (but didn't!) The installation was clean, the electricians came promptly, and all work passed inspection. I won a Jacuzzi Swim Spa and Jacuzzi Ontario recommended Calibre to do the electrical renovations I needed. I already had 200AMP service, but my 40 year old electrical panel was due for an upgrade. They came from Burlington to Guelph to give me a quote in August of 2018 and they honoured the price in April of 2019 when I decided to proceed. The guys that came were very respectful and friendly. They did exactly what they said they would do in the amount of time they estimated it would take, and left the scene in a clean and orderly manner. My contact in the office, Sierra was very helpful in explaining the entire process including a reminder notification and explaining payment options. The entire process was professional and satisfactory and I will recommend Calibre for all your electrical needs anywhere within 120 miles of Burlington. Great job guys. Thank you.

Great Job! Both of the guys who came to my home were professional and fast. I can see why they came recommended by Jacuzzi. Everyone from the very nice lady who booked the estimate and confirmed all appointments to the estimator and technicians were great to work with. The tub hook up went so well I have booked them to come back and do a panel upgrade in a few weeks. They make it easy, all the permit work, coordinating the with city, nothing for me to do but pay the bill. All costs very reasonable with no surprises. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

This Company is also our local Generac dealer carrying and installing a full line of Generac generators designed to keep your home or business supplied with electricity in the event of a power failure. They are designed to run on natural gas, meaning the equipment will run indefinitely without any refuelling. Furthermore it is highly sophisticated, designed to run outdoors in the harshest winters or summer storms. They automatically start the moment there is a power failure of more than 8 seconds. Reviews of generators on the internet quickly makes it obvious this is the best line of generators money can buy. After 5 power outages this year we called Calibre Electric. They attended our home and without pressure of any kind they examined our needs in detail and recommended a specific unit matching our home and needs. Within a week the unit was installed. Their estimate was highly detailed and comprehensive. They arranged everything including all gas and hydro inspections. The installation was completed within a day. The Calibre employees were very professional and extremely knowledgeable, being electricians and gas-fitters with years of experience. Once installed we were provided with a detailed set of instructions and given a tutorial on how the equipment works. Amazingly, the unit automatically self tests, and is set to run for a few moments according to a schedule we select in order to ensure it is ready to go in an instant should the power fail. The product is superb. Calibre Electric receives our highest praise. We highly recommend this firm for anyone seeking the security of knowing that they will have full power for their home or business despite power failures. As a side note, in speaking with the hydro repair people restoring damage on our street, 3 of 4 of the Ontario Hydro workers we talked to had their homes protected with Generac equipment. Horrible experience. Damage to several things on our property, and shotty work elsewhere. Most disturbing was when they helped themselves to a pair of fabric folding chairs as ladders. They tracked mud throughout the basement, and ground it into the fabric of the chairs ruining them. Management has not replied with any action to remediation.

Has been a horrible experience with caliber electric. Was recommended by my hot tub retailer to use them, left my house absolute mess, didn’t want to backfill or put our patio stones back into place. Insulation in basement was torn out and never put back. Came back a second time (Late Again) had to basically beg them to mount my cover switch to the brick wall, put the bricks back in a very poor fashion and left me with a pile of dirt. Very poor customer service. STAY AWAY!! Reply... The Pics Attached are of my basement and outside patio the way it was left once your so called techs were finished. The insulation in my basement still isn’t fixed. You guys really need to get on the same page as the companies you work with for business. I was present with Jeff at our site check that lasted a whopping 5 mins, was promised all the bells and whistles got the opposite. yes your guys did come fill the trench back in 2 WEEKS later and left me with a even bigger mess, they were in more of a hurry then the first 2 techs, they spent a while 30 mins at my place. How do called a Install complete if your company doesn’t want to mount the ELECTRICAL switch that operates the hot tub cover??? Then it finally gets installed after multiple phone calls to the hot tub company while your techs here with the wire still flapping around in the wind hitting the siding of my home. Then you lie in the reply to my review about not being finished. I don’t have time to follow your techs around with a camera taking pics of Cooper wire clippings, debris, zip tie ends etc left on my floor. What part of my photos are DURING the install?? You can clearly tell from the pics they are taken at night when I came home from work to find my house a mess. Sometimes it’s ok to say a mistake was made! STAY AWAY... FAR AWAY...

I was in need of an electrician to install panell for my hot tub as the company I hired did not show up on scheduled date. I was on a tight deadline and couldn't wait for rescheduled date. This lead me to Calibre Electric. I was impressed at how quickly and efficiently they made it all happen. Great crew of guys and I would defiantly use them again for any electrical needs both personal and professional.

Calibre Electric did the Electrical hook up for our BOLDT Pool hot tub in April of 2019. They did hook up our hot tub, however when the ESA inspected their work it was not done to the ESA standards. We had paid for additional GFIs to be installed and they were not installed. Now 8 months later and after multiple emails and phone calls we still don't have the GFI's we paid for or a ESA approval. Thank you to the Owner for replying to this Post: here are more Details. 1. When the Job was quoted we where told we would need an addition GFI on our AC unit as it was to close to the hot tube at cost of approximately $450, Due to new code rules. 2. On install day E transfer the Full payment for the job including the GFI, as is your Company policy. I ask the electrician if he had install the GFI on the AC unit, he said he hadn't and didn't have it in the truck so he would have to come back. 3. I followed up straight away with the Office (Emails and phone Messages) and got confusion as to why I need the GFI. I was Confused as it was on the bill i just paid and was told i need it. I asked for it to be installed or Refunded. Neither Happen..... 4. We had the ESA inspection on the hot tube and they didn't look at the AC unit,I was informed we passed the inspection. After my more emails and phone calls and a year later. 5. THE BOTTOM LINE IS I HAVE NOT BEEN REFUNDED FOR THE GFI I PAID FOR AND WAS NEVER INSTALLED. I would like my refund with your late payment fee applied as you have had my $450 for a year and a half now.

Calibre Electric recently did a Whole House Generator Install (Generac device) and did a great job. From the initial discussion with Jeff, to quoting, and then to booking the install was a good experience. Everyone was responsive and helpful at all times, and even post install they've registered the device for us for Warranty and sent through all the ESA paperwork in a timely fashion. Ultimately I found these Guys to be the best price, but also did a great job. I would recommend and use again for anything electrical related.

On the recommendation of Sundance Spas we decided against our better judgment to use Calibre Electric Inc for the electrical work. On their suggestion, and what I thought was a great idea I installed an additional GFI outlet next to the hot tub junction box. I received a quote from Calibre for $1553. After the work was done I received an invoice for $1615. When I questioned the amount they said it was for a permit for the outlet. Asked why it wasn't included on the quote when there was already a permit for the hot tub for $145, they had no answer and removed the item. The guys that ran the cabling in the basement did an amateurish job and because I wanted nothing more to do with them I didn't bother to have it fixed as I wasn't planning on finishing the basement - their cabling will be a problem for anyone looking to finish the basement. This work was done in November and we went through winter without using the outlet. Went outside over Easter weekend to use the outlet and it was not working - contacted Calibre and explained what the situation was and everything we had done to get the the outlet working, turning on and off the break for the outlet, pressing reset and test and explained that the hot tub was working fine just the outlet wasn't working. Their response was "Will someone be home today for the technician to have a look at the problem? we will need a credit card # nothing will be processed if it's a manufacturer defect" That was it, no information on how much could be charged to my credit card and why. What other defect could there be? the outlet was never used and that was told to them. After calling the office Carmen told me that they are losing money and so they need a credit card before they come out. Even though everything points to being an issue specifically with the outlet - and is under warranty. She insisted there could be other products causing the issue - where I asked? What other product? How is that possible when that is the only product in that space - she was more interested in arguing with me and justifying this insanity over fixing the issue so I gave the credit card because I wanted them to come out and fix the issue. Got a call from Mitch a "contractor" with Calibre after I was told it was their master electrician that was coming on site. I was never happy with this company and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. They have absolutely terrible customer service, they have contract junior technicians that they send out to run wires and install junction boxes, but when you call them they refer to their "Master" electrician that you never see.

Was referred to Calibre by the company we bought our hot tub from. They came on Dec 24 to give a quote. They then came on the day the hot tub was delivered and did the install. Work appears to be well done, nice and tidy. Out of three quotes we recieved for setting up the hot tub, theirs was the best by far.

If you are looking for a company that provides poor quality, terrible customer service and no sense of accountability when things go wrong, well you are in luck, Calibre Electric is there to check off all those boxes! I purchased a hot tub from Jacuzzi Ontario and by default, Calibre was contracted to perform the electrical work. I cannot believe this company exists to be honest. They were terrible from the start. They installed the hot tub cable on the wrong side of my residence, and attempted to mount a portion of the cable about a foot and a half from the bottom of my fence which i share with my neighbour. I made arrangements to have this portion of the cable trenched which Calibre reluctantly agreed to, leaving my backyard a disaster (keep in mind that 5' of trenching was offered free of charge which Calibre did not want to perform for some strange reason) They advised that if i wanted them to place the dirt back it would cost me an additional fee (that's like a mechanic saying if you want your breaks changed, it will cost you extra to have your tires put back in place). To know surprise, they failed an inspection and had to return to correct their error by dropping a 6' 2x4 in the now moat that had formed in my backyard. The "master technicians" during the first visit left the inside of my house a disaster zone from them drilling into my cold storage and further into my garage to get to my electrical box. Not only that, they had asked for tools such as a ladder and shop vac which blew me away! I asked the one guy why they don't come prepared and all he could do is laugh. And good luck getting a hold of anyone when you need to speak about an issue (no one answers phones or emails unless they are looking to get a hold of you when the ESA is breathing down their neck to have a failed inspection corrected). Despite all this nonsense, my wife and I believed we were out of the woods with having to deal with Calibre until we received a phone call this past October to have yet another inspection performed by the ESA that Calibre for some reason completely forgot about. That's almost a year after we originally had the tub installed. Again, we agreed to have the inspection performed and (wait for this) they FAILED yet again! The inspector advised that the hot tub was placed too close to our patio light which did not meet the minimum 10' requirement. He advised that Calibre would have to instal a breaker but suggested that they should be covering the cost. Well, they did not cover the cost and charged us $145.00 to have this breaker installed, and the only reason we agreed to this is because it would have cost us more to have another electrical company perform the work, and because Jacuzzi Ontario, feeling sorry for all the nonsense Calibre put us through, agreed to provide a $175.00 store credit for hot tub products. Plus, there was NO WAY Calibre was going to pay for their mistake, originally suggesting that we had placed that light after the fact, and blaming everyone else for the failed inspection (ie: us the customer, deliver company etc...) even though they were the ones responsible for the electrical hook up of the tub. For anyone purchasing a hot tub, please do your homework and find out if Calibre is contracted to perform the electrical work, and if they are, I highly suggest having someone else perform this task, otherwise you will regret it.

They came in and hooked up our new hot tub by cutting away the existing PVC tubing of our old hot tub wiring and then leaving the wiring exposed. When I asked if the work was to code they first said that it was. When I then asked if it was to be inspected they re-quoted almost triple the price and when I told them I wasn't going to pay that, they contacted the ESA to say that we had uninspected work done! Then they tried to say that the initial work was to just get us going and that the extra work was always going to have been required. These guys are brutal and the most untrustworthy company I've dealt with. Stay away!

Jacuzzi install and electrical panel upgrade. Poor workmanship, babysitting required to get the job done, excessive cost, poor follow-up. Paid for the full job, it's been over a month, but work is still outstanding, I only went to Calibre based on supplier recommendation - no other estimates obtained. I thought the estimate was high, but then I expected a professional job, by a local company, with quality components and a job that is completed. They say my expectations differ from theirs and everyone has different expectations. I should have obtained three quotes and checked around - this was a mistake I won't make again. I guess I'll lose out on their $50 referral incentive offer.
