It is often difficult to find a tradesperson willing to take on smaller jobs, let alone find one that is trustworthy, efficient, and able to book an appointment that isn’t weeks or months later. Not only was the Wirechief team able to send someone out at short notice, the jobs were done quickly and correctly. In addition to a light installation and fixing several switch issues, I had the team install several new power outlets in an appartment I recently purchased. The care and attention paid meant that there was almost no drywall work needed other than a quick seal-and-paint. In addition, before the two workers left they provided advice for a future project which lead to a simpler option I would not have thought of. The Wirechief team did such a great job I’ve since had them back to assist with wiring up a new dishwasher complete with newly-installed wall outlet. The team is professional, careful, and take the time to explain what they are doing and why. I would highly recommend them for any electrical job, large or small.

Octavio was very easy to work with. He provided a reasonable quote promptly and was flexible with scheduling work. His team installed 10 retrofit spotlights and a lighting fixture. He provided some good options in terms of how to hookup to switches. What I appreciated most was the diligence the team had to doing the job right with minimal cuts into my drywall. They could have just quickly chopped everything up, but I felt they had good balance. The entire crew was very polite and professional. They kept the place very clean. There was even a little bit of a mixup, and Octavio resolved the misunderstanding a few days later with no complaint and no charge. Highly recommended.

Octavio's team came to install a 240 V plug in our kitchen so we can replace our gas stove with electric. I was happy with the online consult and the reasonable quote. The guys installing the wiring had trouble getting the cable from our 2nd floor panel to the 1st floor kitchen. But they communicated well and didn't charge any extra fees when the job took an extra day to finish. There's a fair bit of drywall repair to do now, but I'm pretty happy with the job they did.

Prompt, neat and high quality service. After knowing that the ceiling junction box was broken, I called several electricians and WireChief replied me the fastest, in about 15 min. Booking, work and payment were all made simple - I requested quotation online, discussed the situation and confirmed booking with WireChief via phone, and paid online by credit card. The electrician arrived on time, and worked professionally. He replaced the old plastic junction box, the old dimmer switch and installed a new chandelier in just 1.5 hours. He cleaned the worksite and restored everything after work. Overall, WireChief has my recommendation and I will appoint them again when needed.

Great quality work! I solicited multiple quotes for the socket work. This company is very competitively priced and I liked how it was a fixed price (as opposed to an hours rate with no fixed # of hours). Availability for work was very quick which is nice to get the wiring job done. Staff arrived on time, used drop sheets to keep the area cleaned. They worked quickly and efficiently (two people came). When they were done, they cleaned up nicely with a vacuum. Fixing the drywall was my responsibility (which is standard) and it was well communicated. Invoice was in my email inbox the day before and it was easy to pay (quick books). I’ll definitely be recommending and using them again for electrical jobs!

Octavio helped me the obtain an electrical permit and arrange a city inspection after my contractor’s electrician failed to do so. He needed to rewire my kitchen pot lights to bring them up to code. He did all of this while I was out of the country. He and his office administrator, were really great and responsive as I tried to arrange the logistics of keys and coordinating with the city inspector. Octavio’s work was seamless. He was totally professional and is clearly skilled at his trade. He puts all his important credentials, licensing and insurance information right upfront on his website. Our 6 unit strata recently hired WireChief Electric to do a "full electrical system review" that was required by our insurers. We originally thought we would have the electrical review completed by WireChief and then obtain quotes from 3 or 4 electricians for the repairs, but I think we all now agree that having the report and the repairs completed by WireChief was the most efficient and cost effective approach. Octavio, Ben and Edmund were amazing - the report was comprehensive, estimate for repairs accurate and cost very reasonable, scheduling of repairs timely and flexible, and the work itself was great. As someone who is severely immunocompromised, the extra care and attention that Ben and Edmund took each day (for over a week) to miminimize the risk of Covid-19 for me and others in the building is much appreciated. We are all very happy with WireChief and recommend them completely!

WireChief rewired the electrical system of my property. It was a $11,000+ job. I had to chase them down for the final report. Communication was spotty. I had another job but they didn't seem interested in giving me a written quote despite doing the first job. If you're in a situation where your insurance company compels you to upgrade your electrical system under a quick deadline, your choices are limited. I am not an electrical expert and knew very little about the work itself. It's a game of blind trust. The options WireChief offered were very expensive. In hindsight I would have shopped around more. If you're spending such a big chunk of money, it makes sense to do your due diligence.

I'd strongly recommend WireChief if you need any electrical work done! They put in all the wiring for a washer/dryer, moved a thermostat/light switches, and installed a new bathroom fan. I was very happy with their work and I was charged the price I was quoted. The electricians were professional and very nice. I really liked working with this company!
