I purchased a electric vehicle charger online and made a note upon purchase that I required install and was contacted by Taylor from TDR Electric first business day of the week in the morning. We set up a time that an electrician could view the site where I would need the install to give a proper quote. After meeting with the electrician, I was provided a quote via email very promptly. I also received another quote from another electrical company for the same job and although the other company's quote was lower, I felt like I had a better rapport with the electrician that met me on site from TDR Electric that was going to be eventually doing the work on my site so I decided to choose TDR Electric. When the time came to do the electrical work, the Electrician showed up as scheduled and job went smoothly and I am very pleased with the job the guys from TDR Electric did and I would highly recommend them! Aaron did a fantastic job where I really didn't think it could have been done, as these sconces were from Czechoslovakia from the early '70s... So it took some figuring out to make it work but he did it! Now I have a piece of my childhood in my new home and I couldn't be happier with the result. He was so kind, he even helped me hang a large mirror in my dining room (I am sure this is NOT in his job description) Just goes to show they really go above and beyond and I would use them again HANDS DOWN!!

We were quite stressed out after having found out we would need electrical work done, to be able to use our newly delivered washer-dryer. After calling other electricians who either had no time or never even returned the call, I was thrilled when Taylor picked up right away and said he was going to call back once he'd check his schedule. Sure enough, he called 15 minutes later and said he was on his way. He solved our problem, did everything efficiently and with a smile. Aaron from TDR arrived on time to deal with ceiling florescent light problems. The fixtures were old and the problem proved to be obsolete ballasts that were no longer available so Aaron made a quick trip to a local parts supplier and was able to obtain another type and tube that completely solved the problem. I have had occasion to use TDR twice. Once in my own building where I am Strata President (for one of our owners) and recently in a condo our family owns and rents nearby. I am very satisfied with Taylor Ross' professional attitude, work and follow-through on the last job where we had a short time before new tenants moved in. Previous to calling Taylor, I had another electrician offer two options, both of which were much more expensive than the TDR solution. The electrician sent by Taylor for the service call was efficient and kept me informed of his ETA. He also cleaned up after he was finished. One small part of the job couldn't be completed and Taylor himself came the next morning to finish everything. I will be happy to recommend him to any owner in our building for his professional attitude and obvious expertise.

We recently used this company for a project at one of our stores. We called them up and Taylor answered, he was able to come to our store later that day and give us a quote. We got 3 quotes for this project and these guys were the most expensive. ..I decided to use them because he was very informative and had some great suggestions on what to do with our lighting in the store. Boy were we impressed, they were able to start within a few days. He coordinated the man lift we needed and was dropped off first thing in the morning. Sean and Aaron were doing the job and they were a pleasure to work with. We made some changes throughout the job and it wasn't an issue. They estimated 3 - 4 days for the project and wouldn't you know it they were done in 3 days. We will definitely be using them for our other stores when we are in need of anymore electrical. The work to install an EV charger went relatively straightforward, just some minor issues that took a few extra days to sort out. The reason for the bad review was the bad advice around an electrical permit. I was advised that the permit wouldn't be needed until the city asked for it. The city thought differently and now I have a deadline in which to sort it all out as well as a fine to pay. TDR ignored my request for my quote to fix, so needless to say, I had a different company come by to fix it.

We enquired of the services of TDR from some of their tradesmen that were working on a unit within our strata for one of our neighbours. They were incredibly polite and open to our questions, and ultimately had a visit booked to come and see our unit on another day. After determining what needed to be done an appointment was booked for the work only a week and a half later. The electricians arrived exactly when they said they would, they conducted their work effieciently and neatly and were very kind as we curiously watched their work. The job was essentially replacing a series of under-cabinet "puck lights" that were over-heating and working very intermittanlty (installed by the previous owner) and causing great frustation and concern to us as the new owners of our strata unit. The TDR technicians suggested high-efficiency, low heat producing replacement "puck lights" and we couldn't be more thrilled with the result. Recommending TDR is a very easy thing to do!
