Called to have a GFCI in bathroom replaced at my residence in Nanaimo. Very helpful and polite at reception - The service electrician Adam arrived promptly at the agreed date and time and called ahead to advise of his pending arrival. Job was done effectively and quickly. Adam was very pleasant and courteous throughout the job. I have used this company previously and have always been pleased with the work provided and the demeanour of the attending electricians.

Ty came out to help with a number of issues regarding lights and outlets that were not working. He was quick to locate the issues and resolve them. He even replaced a some outlets with upgraded safety features (GFC). He was friendly and professional which in my experience can be hard to come by these days. Highly recommend.

I contacted Mazzei to install two ceiling fans in my apartment. It’s not just that Stewart was extremely knowledgeable and professional (which he was). He was also communicative, good-natured despite sweltering conditions; he listened to my concerns as a renter, and he worked quickly. When there was a problem with a component of one fan, he went above and beyond to obtain a replacement part. All around, absolutely the best experience I’ve ever had with a contractor.

I recently had this company come over to help me with my project and it was a bit of a mess. Communication was a major issue so I obviously had a role to play in that debacle. But, I can't get past the billing. I don't know if I was billed for travel and/or consultation but the bill was double what I thought it would be. The technician that came to my house was a very nice man; but I don't think he new what he was doing. He kept telling me he was waiting to hear back from his colleagues to see what he had to do next. I get a phone call the following day stating he didn't have to do anything. So, a fairly quick walk-through of the house resulted in $561. There was two hours billed for another electrician, however, my understanding is that man never went to my house. So, I believe I was billed for a lack of knowledge, thus leading to consulting with colleagues to complete the job. Overall, I would not recommend this company due to the inflated bill.

I had an emergency call answered by the on call electrician Mat Currie. Upon answering my call Mat dropped everything he was doing and did not stop working over the course of 3 days. He managed to get ahold of supply store owners and convince them to let him in their stores during the time they were closed for Christmas in order to gather the materials to complete my job. If it weren't for him my family and I would have been without power for some time. Thank you Mat

We moved into a new condo in Victoria recently and wanted 7 dimmer switches installed. I saw a Mazzei Electric truck at our condo site so decided to contact them. Sent an email late Saturday and first thing Monday morning a wonderful Service Coordinator - Felicia - called and scheduled me in for 8:00 am Wednesday morning (incredible). At 8:00 am sharp on Wednesday Don and Emily (2 Mazzei electricians) knocked on our door and within 45 minutes the work was done. Don and Emily could not have been anymore pleasant or professional. I was completely impressed with my entire dealing at Mazzei Electric and would strongly recommend them for any electrical needs. In fact I have already recommended them to two colleagues. 10 out 10!!

Joey Hitchcock came to my home today a little blind, he and the Mazzei Team have done fantastic work helping me add a bedroom and office to my home....Today Joey finished install of a chandelier, 2 track lights and final finish of plugs and switches in my outdoor kitchen....Honestly, I’ve been losing sleep thinking my timber frame kitchen was going to be drilled and showing wires.....NOT the case....The only wires I can see are tucked where nobody would ever see them....we’re talking while saw, router and auger work to make this happen!!!!
