The day after a big snow storm, James came by the home on time to address electrical socket issues (had a small electrical fire a few days ago). He's pleasant to deal with and price his services reasonably. We definitely recommend him.

Unfortunately after booking appointment with him for yesterday a week in advance, he did not show up despite multiple calls and texts that went unanswered. After waiting a week to try to get a 240v outlet installed, will have to contact another electrician. It's too bad, he sounded like a nice guy on the phone the first time.

My husband spoke with you on Tuesday, and booked a service call for Wednesday at 10am. He came home from work to meet you, by the time 10:20 rolled around he called, you answered right away and said you got called into an emergency. Fine... we rebook for 5pm later that same day..5:15 comes and no reply from texts etc. COMPLETE TIME WASTER ! Bad enough having our time wasted, but missing work and being messed around when we have a few small children. What a joke of a company. A phone call or text would have been the professional thing to do

JC is a really good man he's a hard worker he's a single dad. I have a lot of admiration and respect for the man he's already raised a few other kids I'm not sure how many but he has a lot of good morals and family values and he takes time and Care into his work. I would recommend him he is also a very honest and genuine man.

Very happy with his service, he did a job in half the time of my normal electrician for half the price. yes , i had to wait 2 weeks for him to show up, but hey, when you are good at doing something, you are busy, and people should learn to be patient for good help, because yes, it's hard to find. when you find it, enjoy what you found.

Terrible experience, James Brown came recommended for small jobs, hard to believe that on top of the over priced and shoddy workmanship, I have had a bathroom fan that was going to take no more than 2 weeks to repair and re-install missing for almost a year now with no end in sight! Several phones calls and many broken promises still nothing, Mr Brown seems to have an exceptionally bad memory and it makes me wonder if his memory is that bad I can't believe that any electrical work is going to be safe in his hands! I am now reduced to a BBB complaint and believe that I will end up in small claims court to resolve my issues, (if of course he can ever remember to show up!) I would NEVER recommend his services to anyone, in fact if he was the last electrician in BC, I WOULD recommend that you at least try fixing it yourself FIRST!

Booked an appointment with James June 26 9:00am the day before, its already 9:45am now, no show up, no phone calls, no text, no reply. I need my outlet move closer to my washer, the washer delivery people are coming in at 10:30am, i dont know what to do now. If you cant be on time or cant come, at least give a heads up. Stop wasting peoples time and messing other peoples plans!!! Not recommended at all!!!

I work with an 86 year young woman who just 5 days ago had a washer and dryer installed. Unfortunatley no one bothered to check the dryer outlet which was hard wired to the house. The company where the appliances we're purchased sent out a man. Needless to say not a liscensed electrician. I called J.C. Brown to do a service call. Within the hour he arrived. Service called done breaker replaced. Dryer working. THANKS for comming when you said you would. THANKS for not talking down to us. THANKS for doing what should of been done in the first place.
