It took only one phone call and an email to get the work arranged and done, in a timely and professional work. We are already discussing our next project with Mel for the spring of 2022. We recently took over the Mustang Drive-IN in PEC and needed to do some big fixes and upgrades (and there's so many more on deck). We researched electricians and Mel came highly recommended. My wife and I needed an electrician to help us with the wiring of a new pool we were installing. Our previous trusted electrician had retired and we were anxious to establish a new relationship with someone we could trust. We live in an older home from the 1800’s and were anticipating a lot of work would be necessary. Mel came to us recommended by our previous electrician. In comparison to other estimates we received, Mel took the extra time to assess our current state, including any future planning we had in our home. He educated us on what we needed, as well as answering several unrelated ad hoc questions we had about other electrical problems in our home. He was very helpful and informative. In addition to being a good communicator, the quality of his workmanship is impeccable. He is attentive and detail oriented. Recognizing previous deficiencies, he cleaned up our old electrical panel, and then added an additional panel in our outside pool shed. With this, he completed the bonding and hardwiring of our pool pump, heater, and outdoor lighting. He also set us up for a future hot- tub, organizing in- ground conduit with our landscaper preemptively. He is professional and very customer service oriented. Always arriving on time, demonstrating flexibility when working with the schedules of other contractors. Absolutely we will use him again for future projects. We recommend him 100%

We hired Murrant Electric to do extensive work on our older home. From changing the panel from fuses to breakers, installation of outdoor lights and checking and upgrading all switches, plugs and light fixtures. Mel walked us through the work that he was doing, helped my husband to be able to do some things on his own. When the power supply to my hot water heater shorted out, the first 4 electric companies I phoned told me that it would be a minimum of 2-3 weeks before someone could come out to fix it! Thank goodness for Mel! He came over right away, quickly diagnosed and repaired the power supply, and I had hot water again that night.

Mel was absolutely perfect to work with. He completed electrical work for the hotub and the pool. He truly went above and beyond with taking care of what was needed. He went the extra mile with providing me with tips and assitance to complete additional work that was outside of the job he was hired for. Mel installed outdoor electric hookup for the pool and then helped me to bury the tubing to fish the line through for the pool pump -when our season is over. Mel and his co-worker Ray have been to my residence a couple of times. The residence is about 100 years old and has had many "electricians" through it.
