we had service experts come to our house, they were called by reliance home comfort to work on a lennox pulse gas furnace ,as d&K are the authorized dealers / service company for lennox ! the guy came in went to the basement ,listened to the furnace . 3 minutes latter he came up from the basement and told us that the ignition module was burnt out and we had no flame ! we had just had reliance in and the furnace had flame but was short cycling ! reliance thought it was a sensor ,but they could not work on the lennox . d&k told us that the furnace was old and that he had replaced 100s of those ignition modules and if one could even be found it would cost $800. for the part and around $1500. total . we told the guy that the furnace worked good up to two days before when someone hit the exhaust pipe outside ! he went and looked ,seen the exhaust was broke and came in saying this reliance tech. has to written up , and went on and diabled the furnace before we could have someone else could look at it .he told us we needed a new furnace and he could get us one in real quick ! two days went by and I had a retired tech look at the furnace ! he went to the local hardware store spent $4. repaired the furnace and it's worked fine for 4 months. this guy from d&k should be charged , fined , jailed , and that company shut down , or fined and sued . I have the proof of their criminal act !!!
It's been a number of years since my father had his HVAC unit installed by D&K. A minor issue came up recently that required a couple of minutes of attention and despite the time lag since the original install the follow up service was still excellent! They were extremely responsive and definitely made us feel like they cared. Highly recommend!

We’ve been having on and off issues with our AC system since last summer, and after a recent repair our system was still not working right. Irwin serviced our system and it’s totally fixed! He was incredibly thorough, professional and really ensured that we wouldn’t have any problems going forward. Our gas furnace had to be shut down immediately by a D&K technician due to a faulty part, which triggered the purchase of a new system. Janine and Jessie provided us with all the information on different systems in a very professional manner. Although the installation got delayed a few days, the installers, Dustin, Brian, Seth and Nick were able to install a new furnace and air conditioner in one day. Everybody was very polite and attentive to our needs. They took extra care to make sure our floors were protected during the installation and the clean up was thorough. We have been a D&K customer for many years and are very pleased with their service.
I called D&K to repair my new Regency Gas Fireplace which had a number of technical issues.Technician Wallace Rogers determined this issues and repaired the faulty temp switches quickly. He was very knowledgeable, professional and left no mess behind for me to clean up. I will highly recommend D&K to anybody with heating or cooling problems. D&K Heating was reliable and efficient.
We were in a tough situation. It was during a cold snap in January, and our boiler, from another company, had failed yet again. For a week my wife, three young daughters and I survived with a gas fireplace and space heaters spread around the house, as our former service technician was unavailable. But heat wasn't the biggest issue. For us, no boiler also means, no hot water. Finally, I walked into the D & K office and asked for help. We were blown away by the service we received. Tyler, Brian, Jerry and Ian put in very long days (far past our expectations of how late they might work), and had us back in business much faster than the estimated time we'd been quoted. Based on our experience, we will certainly be recommending D & K to all of our friends and family. Thanks guys.

Our most recent annual service call was completed by Mike. We found him to be polite, friendly, professional and efficient. He provided helpful answers and advice to questions about our home's Lennox HVAC and about a specific issue that he was able to pinpoint and also verify via a second opinion. He directed our attention to the fact that our furnace filter was completely clogged because the previous technician had not replaced it at last year's appointment, and offered us to pick up another one at the office free of charge between visits. He was even so kind as to drop by to inform us that he had noted, while effecting the service on our A/C, that our dryer vent appeared to be clogged and needed attention. Thanks so much to Mike for going the extra mile!

Worst company EVER for service. We custom built a new home that D&K installed an HRV system in for the builder with remote controls in the bathrooms and kitchen. The master bath controller has NEVER worked and the main bath is intermittent at best. After many calls and complaints they finally decided to put a booster on the system, which did not work. Turns out D&K did not realize the Wifi on this system does not work on larger hiomes. Mark was to call the manufacturer and try to get a resolution to this problem but that was back in October and we have heard nothing, Now in January I have called numerous times and they simply do not respond!! I am getting very tired of having to walk into my kitchen to turn the system on in the master bedroom!! Do not use this company and expect any service. edited note: I responded to the email sent out by D&K in response to my review and received absolutely no word back from the company after sending out a request to discuss the issues. They obviously have no interest in correcting their customer relations problems.

Heat wave in Ontario, our airconditioner stopped working. When I called D&K I expected to hear that they were too busy to come out for at least a couple of days. Instead, the woman told me someone would be here within a couple of hours! Mike Vandervoort arrived in an hour and a half, found the problem within 3 minutes (We had looked and couldn't find the issue), replaced the part, took 15 minutes extra to show us where the problem occured, and how to make sure it doesn't happen again, and then gave us an extremely reasonable bill. They had never been here before, but we'll never use anyone else again. Thanks Mike! Slept like babies last night!
I had an air conditioner emergency at midnight (frozen unit). Called D&K and not only did they calm me down, but gave me clear and easy instructions on what to do until the technician arrived (which was first thing in the morning). Friendly and top-notch service.

Wallace Rodgers has been servicing our gas fireplace for several years. He is courteous, efficient, and does an excellent job of keeping our gas fireplace functioning well. He knows his job and has more than 20 years experience.

Got our AC/furnace replaced in June, a two stage furnace and AC as they said it is more energy efficient. They installed everything within 2 different days, for some reason their installers didn’t do the wiring for the second stage AC. We did follow up calls and booked an appointment but nobody had showed up. Then we called about 4 hours later and were told to reschedule again. This was the 3rd appointment. On the fourth appointment, tech showed up again and was told for some reason, to come in and replace the thermostat (appointment was for wiring). So the tech left again without having done anything. On the 5th appointment, tech shows for the wiring and we were told that it is now not doable. He is missing a second tech that he needed and he also left without having done anything and said that they would follow up. This was back on August 31st it is now November 25th and have not heard anything back. We receive a bill of 190.00 a month which they have no problem in sending and charging. The work needed is still not complete.

Oct 2017 they keep sending me junk mail addressed to me despite a request they stop mailing me. I called (Oct 7th 2013/2014?) to book a call for a quote for a gas line into my kitchen. The employee on the other end of the phone told me Oct 8th 10am to 12noon I was to be at home. I took the time off work at my cost. I was at home. 11:55 am arrived and I didn't see any technician. I phoned and spoke to a lady who argued with me that they had phoned me and canceled the appointment. After verifying the name and phone number they had on file it was a different name and phone then the one I had provided (previous home owners). She continued to argue with me. In the end I asked about re-booking. I was then advised that there was an exorbitant 99$ fee for quotes. I was not previously advised of this and would never have booked had I been advised. At this time I decided I didn't want to speak with the representative anymore after taking 2 hours off work, being told I was going to have to pay 99$ for a quote and being stood-up. I would avoid them like the plague.
I had an on-demand water heater to replace my existing system, a new furnace and ducts re-configured for better air flow. Brian and Rob were on time, courteous and very professional. They worked seemingly with a break even for lunch on the first day and on the second day they finished and left the basement spotless. I have used D&K foe a few years now and find them to be a great company.

Today D & K Heating & Air Conditioning replaced the 21-year-old gas insert in our fireplace. During its annual inspection last month, we discovered it had finally worn out. Brian Critch and Seth Wellman arrived precisely on time and set to work immediately to remove the old unit. Once they removed it, they discovered gallons and gallons of debris behind where it had been. In the photo, you'll see Brian holding a drop cloth to contain the dust while Seth is deep into the fireplace vacuuming up nearly 15 gallons of junk. They worked steadily for more than six hours straight, making the fireplace look like it has always had the new insert in it. Then Seth patiently explained the features to us and showed us how to use the remote control. The new unit has 5 flame levels (plus off), 5 fan speeds (plus off), and a thermostat built into the remote. We can just set the temperature we like the room to be and the flame level and fan speed adjust to keep it perfectly comfortable. It was a pleasure to have these two friendly, experienced and knowledgeable professionals in our home. Thank you both for such an excellent job.

Installed a fireplace for us 3 years back, it has been a dud, and the service folks can never get it repaired. Numerous paid service calls, with no resolution, most recent response instead of ordering the part i know it needs is to send out another expensive technician to check it. I will not use D&K again in the future, poor customer service.
I went with D&K because of the high online rating. My furnace broke and I called for a repair. It was the weekend and they came and fixed it, and the repairman was very nice. It was a little pricey (because of weekend rates) but I was overall happy with the service. The repairman recommended that I invest in a new furnace as mine is very old. However, less than 2 weeks later the furnace broke with the exact same issue. I read up on it online and decided to try it myself. The induction motor was flooded, so I just had to remove it and drain it. While doing so, I got the impression the repairman had done a sloppy job by stripping screws and not replacing them. I also found the source of the flooding, which was very easy to fix and I cant understand why the repairman didn't resolve the clog or mention it to me. In the end I am disappointed that I paid a high rate for what I feel was a poor fix. I've also heard of others having bad experiences with D&K. I would not recommend them based on my experience.
Gerald came today to get our air conditioner up and running. He and an apprentice also changed a filter in the furnace and introduced us to a payment plan that will save us money and give us peace of mind. Great service and helpful, efficient friendly service guys. Thanks

Today I had Steve Sprague service my air conditioner and furnace. He was very polite and friendly. He showed me things to watch for to make sure I catch it early. Very knowledgeable and answered all my questions I had for him. And answered them so I understand since I don't know much about them. He had his mask on and followed covid rules. D&K and the four technicians, Rob, Steffan, Jan and Luke performed miracles to get heat back in our house after our old furnace failed on a Friday by Monday morining they were installing the new furnace. Hats off to every one at D&K involved in this project. Also I would like to thank Irwin St. Hillaire for a service call to our home on 26th Nov 2021 where he trouble shot our old furnace with a lot of care and got a few more days of service from it until it finally died.
Received a letter that said we needed to clean our oil furnace in order to keep our warranty I called them ...it is a spam letter they send it to everyone!!! I feel sorry for any elderly person that reads that letter and thinks they need to have them come for a service call when in fact it s just a scam to try and get a bunch of people to clean their furnaces at a charge
The staff are super friendly and helpful. Our sales associate Colin was lovely and information. The two gentlemen that came to install our units managed to do everything in one day. They were extremely tidy, laying down mats, cleaning up any construction material. This is the company you want to go with!

I was charged $100 for a visit (standard) and $364 for an ignitor toward the end of last winter. They installed the wrong part which did not match the motherboard of my furnace, and went through 2 ignitors (no charge for the second) within a 3 day span. I did not know this at the time as I had no knowledge of furnaces. Their suggestion was to have a new furnace installed for free (promotional offer at the time) and rent the furnace, which worked out to over $200/month. Anyway, now that winter is soon approaching, I did my own research and self education online. I found the proper ignitor for $60 and installed it myself. It was a White Rodgers brand, same brand that D&K installed, only the proper part. You can order these through AMRE out of Toronto. Charged $10 for the delivery and was at my door the next day. $70 total. Furnace has been working fine now for the passed 3 weeks. No white oxidation on the ignitor. My advice, when a repairman gives you a quote, look up the part and find an avg cost. If they are marking up the price by 500%, AVOID THEM. And by the way, there is nothing illegal about changing an ignotor or flame sensor in your furnace. It's as simple as turning off the breaker for your furnace, having the right socket size for about 2 or 3 screws, and snapping a wire together. On the other hand, if it's gas fittings, I would recommend a qualified service technician.
Brian & Rob did an excellent job. They had to uninstall one day and reinstall another day my gas fireplace. Due to renovations of the living room floor. They were on time, extremely clean work habits. Very polite , hard working and I am sure went above and beyond their work orders. I thank the m both. A credit to D& K Heating.
A part was found to be wearing out during routine inspection and the part ordered. A month later still with no part we returned home on a Friday evening to find our home at10 degrees C. We called and they responded punctually only to tell us they did not have the part and we were on our own at least until Monday. That is their service guarantee when you purchase the platinum protection plan.

Rob and Dustin did an excellent job replacing our broken air conditioning system last week. It was quality work, completed in a supprisingly short time! Cody from the sales team came across as a competent and very genuine individual who clearly explained the options available to us. Finally, I cannot recall his name unfortunately, but we were most pleased with the technician who visited us initially on 14 July to diagnose what was wrong with our previous system. His impressive technical knowledge and professionalism gave us confidence that we were dealing with a leading business. Overall, the price was fair and everything was done quickly considering it was all done during peak season. Kudos to D & K.

Absolute professionals, would definitely recommend D&K to others. Tyler and Ian were very professional and I had no problems leaving them in my home while I ran errands.
The front line sales and installation technicians have been very hard working. I have been very pleased with them. But my overall opinion / experience of D&K has been very poor. - I am disappointed in repeated slow e-mail response times from office employees being 3+ days. - I am disappointed in receiving a system generated e-mail informing me of the 1 year follow up tune up for my furnace with no one asking what is an appropriate date - time. - When I asked that the 1 year follow up appointment be cancelled I received confirmation that this would. Yet 3 weeks before this appointment was to happen I received a system generated e-mail reminder for my appointment. - I am also disappointed in the marketing letter trying to get me to sign up to their maintenance plans. Specifically I find the big red heading "Peace of Mind For Pennies A Day" to be misleading and preying on an emotional decision. This is in contrast to a heading themed around indoor air quality and taking care of the HVAC equipment purchased. The "Pennies A Day" can't be taken literally. I've been left with the impression that making money was more important than quality service. I hope the company is able to improve in the future. When my heating equipment needs maintenance I'll be going to an alternate provider.

Our propane fireplace malfunctioned and we contacted D&K for service. We explained to Jessie, the service tech, that ideally we would like to replace the fireplace rather than repairing it, but other fireplace companies said that it could not be done without tearing out the stone surround. Jessie disagreed, saying that Brian, their installer, had many years experience replacing fireplaces and it would not be a problem. Jessie was right! We now own a beautiful Regency fireplace that looks incredible with the stone surround (no damage done!). D&K is a first class business - we were treated with respect every step of the way. Just had an install of a new furnace and Air Conditioner and switched from oil to propane. Tyler and Jeremy were great. They put up with all my questions and probably being a bit in the way. Friday February 13th was one of the coldest days this winter so far and our furnace broke down. What made it worst was that I was away on vacation for a few days. My son called me early on Friday morning letting me know the furnace was not working and the house was down to 3 degrees. He had to go to work so I called my parents to call D&K and leave a message. D&K called back soon and they said they would be by the house around 9 am. My parents thought they said 10 so they did not get to my house until 9:30. D&K had gone by but left a message that they would be back. They came back and by 12:30 the furnace was back on. The problem did arise from the installation of the new furnace in December, which was done by D&K. I should be upset, but the truth is no one is perfect and they did fix it in the ned, No charge. I purchased my first furnace back in 1993 from D&K so when it came time to replace it last December I had D&K give me a quote. I also had a competitor come in and give me a quote. The price was about the same so what turned me to D&K was that they are the only ones that carry Lennox in the area ( maker of my old unit ). The service I have received so far from them has been very good. I just wanted to make sure that someone who had good service from D&K left a review. No one is ever perfect and not everyone is happy with what they get. I was this time.

Sales people are excellent sales people but customer follow-up, support and maintenance (or lack there of) is terrible. Know your client guideline in sales 101 is probably not in the training manual. After spending $18k on a new furnace and duct system in addition to purchasing the maintenance package, almost a year later, we are still waiting for our conversion and maintenance. Whenever we call to book the conversion administration is on lunch and a message will be passed on. When we were sold the furnace it was described as a small unit placed on the floor against a wall... but to the shock of my being - the duct work wasn’t included in that description, not even a mention, and it’s taken over my basement. As a first time home buyer and clearly unaware of what the duct system meant in terms size I felt the salesperson could have been more considerate in his sales approach by explaining the system more clearly instead of a small box on the floor against the wall. Yes, the furnace is small but the duct work is about 3 feet into a main walkway and the entrance to my laundry room can’t fit a door because the duct system blocks the doorway.... Advice to D & K Heating is : “Know your Clients and Follow up means everything!” Not a happy customer and would not recommend.

Wow! I have been trying for a month to have another company schedule us for a fireplace tuneup. Apparently they don't need the business. As I am new to Belleville I googled again and found D&K. After reading rave reviews I just called and spoke with Tracy who was extremely helpful and nice. Happy to say I am finally booked for a fireplace tuneup and it only took 10 minutes!!

They seem to have no clue what they're doing. I had them install a new heat pump and propane furnace over a year ago; paid over $10k which was more than the competition, but they sweet talked me with their "12 month 100% satisfaction guarantee". Well it's been over 12 months now and at no point have I been even close to 100% satisfied. The heat pump system never worked right from the start. The first winter it kicked in for a couple days and then just quit. Of course, there's no actual readout anywhere to tell you whether your system is using the heat pump or the propane "backup", so it took me a few weeks to figure it out that I was burning through propane and not using much electricity. I had one of their techs in. He screwed with it for a bit, pronounced it good, and went on his way. A few weeks later I realized it wasn't working again. Had another tech in, he did some more things to it, and went away. Sure enough, a few weeks later it wasn't working AGAIN. A third tech showed up, ordered some parts, came back a week later and did some tweaks, and went away. Well by that point the winter was over, so I really had no way of knowing whether the system was actually fixed. Until this fall, when it, again, kicked on for a few days, and then shut off again. I SHOULD have demanded a full refund while I still qualified for it, but I made the mistake of trusting them one too many times. Learn from my mistake: find a company that knows what they're doing.
Brian and Rob were great to work with, always polite and professional did a great job that Im happy with. A small thing to some, but when told I had an inside cat, they always ensured the doors were always closed behind them...Greatly appreciated! Thanks a bunch!

I had to have my thermostat replaced. Gerald, the technician arrived with a newer, upgraded model. After installing the new unit, he programmed in all the necessary data required, then showed me how to operate it. Everything is so high tech today so I really appreciated him taking the time to do so. Gerald was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and very helpful. Called for a service call and they managed to get a Fireplace Tech to to come out the same day. Brett came out and was punctual. He was very polite and very thorough on cleaning the fireplace. I really appreciate the hard work and the expertise from him. I would highly recommend having Brett come out if anyone needs this service and I will personally have him out again to do a yearly maintenance on it. I know that I received good value on having him come out for the cost of the service call.

Hottest weeks of the year and what else , air conditioner and furnace die. 26 years old it's time to be replaced. The D&K installation team (Jerry, Dan and Tyler) completed the replacement of my home heating boiler system and upgraded the unit to a combi system converting my hot water supply for the house from electric to gas, The team was very professional and worked well together to complete the job to the best I could have hoped for. We had Mark Lake come out yesterday. 1st call was friendly enough just felt very large company... if that makes sense. Having a stanger in you home is always scary, Mark though made it feel like family. I must admit it was not at all the outcome we were wanting but all in all the service was exceptional, educational and very friendly. Mark himself is very knowledgeable and experienced. We had D & K Heating Service Experts install an A/C unit in our Lennox furnace today. The service experts, Dan and Tyler were on time for the scheduled service. They were both courteous and polite. They knew their product well and were able to show us how to program the wi-fi thermostat. The installation was well done and they left the premises neat and tidy. I would recommend D & K Service Experts without reservation.
Terrible customer service. Waited 8 months for a simple quote on a gas stove repair. We phoned weekly for updates and were brushed off with "we will call you back with an update". They never called back. Finally went with another contractor after months of inaction. They are only interesting in installing new. If you are looking for a repair, save yourself a lot of frustration. Go elsewhere.

I have had Sean from D and K Heating come quote a price over a year ago. Called to get him back to the get a new quote (because it had been over a year). He was polite and just a very ‘real’ person who talked and educated not push me into anything. Now I have my A/C and Tankless water heater being installed and I could not be happier. 2 different crews. Everyone was on time and very professional. The work is getting done and the guys that are here are a great bunch of guys. Very professional but very charismatic. Full of smiles, laughter and singing. As he went about his work he kept me in the loop as to what he was doing and as to his findings. He also arranged to have someone come to replace my thermostat when I told him of problems with it. Tried booking online service that didn't work. Then tried calling after work, was lied to in saying they are after hours and can only schedule for the week when maintenance isn't even available on the weekends. Then called during the day told them there was only the one day in the morning. Received the call day before telling me the time. Now the day of missed a call then try calling to see what it was about. The person stated the would need to have the main office call me right pack and now 5 hours later no call and no one showed up for the service that was scheduled. Would not recommend as the hassle of trying to book isnt worth it.

We had a great experience with D&K. We registered on line and, within days, we had someone out to explain our options, give us a quote, and book a date to install the system. The installation, itself, was awesome Tyler and Jeremy arrived early and promptly swung into action. They did a quick walk around and then explained to us, what they were going to do and how they planned on doing it. They took pains to make sure we understood everything, by walking us around and showing us exactly where equipment would be placed, before they drilled a single hole. An hour or so later, two more guys, Seth and Ian, arrived to help. These 4 guys are true professionals. They appeared to be very well trained and they, not only, worked very well together but they seemed to enjoy their work. They completed everything @ 2 in the afternoon, cleaned up the worksite and packed up the their tools. Then Tyler ran us through the operation of the equipment and, finally, he did a walk-through with me to make sure that I was happy with every aspect of the installation. I was thoroughly impressed with my experience and would definitely recommend D&K

Bought a house a year ago and realized that the furnace was a rental. At a heaping $93 a month, to pay for as long as the furnace live... WOW! That,s a lot of money. Anyway, I decided to bite the bullet and buy it back (for more than if it was brand new by the way) as I didn't wanted to have to pay that amount for the next 20 years. It took them more than 3 months to figure out how to make the proper paperwork to buy it right out and for them to remove the lean on my house. Also, the furnace they put in the house is way too big for the square footage. I guess the bigger the better for them as it's more expensive... Recently, the furnace started to make a loud noise, so I gave them a call. The lady said that my furnace only carried an extra year warranty and that they would charged me $99 just to come and then more than 200$ an hour to change the part. She said she could try to have the part to be changed under warranty. I had 2 other companies coming by and they said that the Lennox furnace we have carry a 10 years warranty... Well well well... Guess what? I preferred to give a call to somebody else instead of giving them an extra penny. Bottom line, if you want to over pay for your furnace, get it from them. Otherwise, turn around, run fast and don't look back!
They came in and did a cleaning on the gas fireplace did a good job (on the surface) but did not check to see if the blower worked before they put it back together. Had my electrician take it apart to get at the blower to replace it and when he took the fireplace apart it was filthy behind the firebox and full of cobwebs.
We have been very happy with the service provided from D&K through Gerald. Fast, efficient and courteous.

Very disappointed with problems getting newly installed furnace operating properly. It took two days without heat and three service calls after installation. Only the last technician understood our two zone heating system and got it operating.
Technician came out to the house, when asked if they were Double vaccinated as there was a family member that is severely compromised, the response given was “Yes I am and this is bull-shit” and then stormed off to his van. Extremely disappointed with the professionalism of this company
The problem with my gas fireplace was remedied in a timely manner by a second technician who was friendly, fast and capable.
We recently had to replace the boiler in our residential heating system. It took a few visits from various technicians to determine what the problem was, install a new boiler, and get the new boiler set properly. Some of these visits were after hours and over the Easter weekend. In all instances the D&K office staff and field technicians were outstanding. Of particular note were Tyler and Rob who worked all day on Good Friday to ensure we had heat and hot water. Job well done.

Took possession of my first home on the 5th of March, furnace quit on the 20th. Had Colin the sales rep from D & K come to my home on the 21st. Very professional, and he didn't try to upsell me when I told him my situation. On the 22nd I had Dan Merifield, Seth Wellman, and Tyler Keller come in to install my new furnace and A/C. All were super professional, knowledgable and friendly. They took the time to put drop sheets down as to not mess up my floors, covered their boots and took care not to scratch my car! I now have heat and am very happy to know that I'll have air come the summer. Super job, would highly recommend to anyone! Thanks!

Terrible service. Sent a “technician” who admitted he does mainly cleaning of furnaces to do a repair - he had no idea what to do, made several phone calls asking for help, spent 2 hrs here & charged us for a full service call, admitted he did not know what was wrong & suggested we get a second opinion! I emailed D&K about 2 weeks ago & have heard nothing back. Would never use the service again & certainly would not recommend them to anyone. We have another company coming in to check things out - will be anxious to see what they have to say!
I had my Oil water boiler replaced with a new Gas boiler the last 2 days. The Tech's Tyler and Ian where great guys. Did an amazing job in the install and cleaned up alot of my crazy pipes from other contractors. The install looks great, i wish I could post a pic of it. Thanks for all of your hard work guys. Two days ago (February 2021) our home's gas furnace went out, on a holiday day no less and with the biggest snow storm of the season only hours away. D&K Heating Service Technician Irwin arrived within 45 minutes of my call for help. He was diligent and meticulous, and I could see he was a conscientious professional service person who took his work seriously. Within an hour Irwin had diagnosed the trouble, replaced the faulty igniter and had the heat back on. He did a great job and we are pleased with the speedy emergency service. Great job Irwin! ????

Gerald performed annual maintenance on my furnace, propane fireplace and AC. He began by reviewing my maintenance contract and clearly explaining what he was planning to do. He worked systematically, quietly and independently. He was a consummate professional while being kind and open. He answered all my questions. Our very first home and the furnace needed to be replaced. Googled HVAC businesses in our area and found D&K Heating with great reviews. I contacted them and they immediately sent Cody. He was extremely thorough, patient and knowledgeable. He measured each room and recommended the Lennox 296. We asked for Rob and Brian to install our furnace and they came to our rescue as we were getting chillier temperatures. We experienced first hand their knowledge and expertise. Both very pleasant to have at the house. Left the place neat and tidy. Brian and Rob are the best of the best. They explained everything we needed to know. We noticed a huge difference after the install and the heat was evenly distributed. The furnace is considerably quieter than our old furnace. Highly recommended D&K for any HVAC services.

Absolutely horrible experience yesterday, I have never been more disrespected in my entire life. The technician that came to my house yesterday came as a result of the day before technician saying my air condition was completely out of Freon and then they will send somebody tomorrow. the guy showed up and told me there was no leak at all and to stop complaining or else they will start charging me $100 each time they show up. And actually had the nerve to tell me not to stand in front of my air condition and look for a problems that are not there and to go out from my house more often. There was swearing back-and-forth it was an absolute nightmare. The strange thing was the same technician that’s telling me that there’s no problem was the one that filled up the Freon a week ago in my air condition. I called to complain about the technician was told somebody was going to call me back as of right now nobody has called me back. I was actually afraid that the technician was going to attack me thankfully he just left speeding out of my driveway leaving marks in the driveway as He sped off.
We had to replace our Furnace & AC this year & D&K was fantastic to deal with. Sean was very personable & help us decided which units best suit our needs. Brian & Steve did the installation, fantastic job fellas. These two work very well together & treated us respectfully. Greg Fry was excellent, very knowledgeable. Steve Sprague was a knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly technician. His work was tidy and efficient, but in addition explained what he was doing for my understanding.
After consulting with Gerry and Mark who understood the problem, they sent out Brett and Ryan to replace and correct the problem. Arrived on time, courteous and knowledgeable, fixed the situation quickly and took extra measures to make sure it was done professionally . Highly recommend.
Came promptly. They weren’t able to fix my air conditioner because it was made by Goodman and that company would only supply Goodman dealers with parts . They told me who to get in touch with and what part I needed . And then surprise, surprise he told me there wouldn’t be a service charge because they were unable to fix it . On top of that it was a Saturday (today ) . I am very impressed with their service . It reminded me of the kind of service companies were proud to deliver 50 years ago.

Had a brand new air conditioner installed in our new home last week, by D&K. For context, our house is ~4200 sq ft, and did not have a/c. We also have a massive horizontal furnace in a 5’ concrete crawl space. The Estimate Process: Shawn W came by twice for consultations to make sure he knew exactly what we were signing up for. As it turned out the furnace had to be moved to install the new condenser coil. During one of Shawn’s visits he noticed that the (1) furnace was not supported properly, and (2) had condensate backing up from the exhaust not being routed correctly. Good Catch Shawn, and VERY reasonably priced to repair! The Installation: Install took 2 days in total. Rob and Brian were AMAZING!!! They are polite, tidy, professional and personable. In fact, other than some singing and a few power tools, I wouldn’t have even known they were here. Rob and Brian went out of their way to clean as they went and left me zero mess after they were all done. In the end, the a/c is ice cold and you can tell there was pride in workmanship. Would 100% recommend!
Had a service tech come to my house and I'm renting so I don't have a full say but, considering it going to be the coldest weekend we have had yet I have a 2 year old daughter here and my wife! It's are main source of heat, we told them what was Wong (yes the home owners as well) and the part we needed and they showed up with no parts did nothing for us and didn't call back when they said they would. This was on Thursday and we were informed on Friday that they won't be back till Monday. All we needed was a thermal coupler! They are also charging the home owners 2 times for this. Also it Monday now and the whole house hold got sick.

I contracted D&K to install a new hot water tank, central air and furnace in my home and couldn't be happier with the professionalism and quality of the installers and the installation. The crew Seth, Tyler, Brian and Rob were very quick, very friendly and the quality of their installation is second to none. The two days that they were here couldn't have been any hotter, temperatures of 30 degrees with very high humidity but never once did they complain, they just did what they do. Quality products and excellent service, I would recomend D&K to anyone. Thanks guys
Had Dustin and two others in on the 2nd to install a new Lennox furmace they were faster than their quoted time and took the extra time to clean up after the job was complete. Very impressed with their service.

Have had numerous techs over the course of a year come and "TRY" to attempt to fix our burner for our boiler. After the 4th try to fix and diagnose the issue I guess they just stopped trying, no call no follow up no NOTHING. Still having the issue as it was never resolved other then payments rendered for services was paid but nothing fixed. Moving on from this company. PS I don't need a response from owner telling me to contact customer service when they can't provide a simple follow up call or provide the service they are paid for.
Had a new propane fireplace installed today, I want to thank the 4 fellows that installed the fireplace Seth, Ian, Brian and Rob for there professionalism and the care they took to keep everything clean, I highly recommend them and the company the represent, looking forward to using this fireplace this winter.

Today (Dec 15/2020) Mike installed a humidifier on our furnace. He was here originally a few weeks ago to install a humidifier; however when on-site, he discovered the unit ordered would not work as efficiently or be as esthetically pleasing as we would like. A different unit was ordered. The unit Mike installed looks fantastic; the work performed to install was neat and tidy (and as my father used to say - "If a job is worth doing, it is worth doing well"). I would certainly recommend this company with no reservations whatsoever

Took pictures of all monitors and controls of their H Vac system (air exchange that they installed) Was in when we bought the house and wanted to go to their office for someone to show us how to operate it. Book did not show same controls that were installed. Said that I would have to basically pay for a service call. She could not of even bothered to offer to call me back if she could get a time . Very poor service.
Great, prompt service from D&K. Service call on Super Bowl Sunday night, tech was here within an hour and had us up and running. Luke & Seth did an amazing job on our furnace installation, completed in one day, neat, tidy, professional & friendly. Highly recommended.

Our furnace quit on a very chilly winter day. D&K worked with us to make it in and get some warmth back in our home. I had to leave town and they worked it out so that when we got back they came and fixed it. Very friendly staff!

We were more than pleased with the work and service performed by all of the D &K service techs . Brian and Seth, the installers were efficient and did an excellent clean up job after installation. Shaun Watts the Sales Rep was easy to work with and offered us some good advice when choosing a furnace and steering us towards obtaining several grants being offered by the Energy Board. We would not hesitate to recommend D & K Heating to anyone considering replacing their furnace.

We had our wood insert replaced recently with a propane insert installed by D & K. Brian Critch and Seth Wellman were nothing but professional. They were very respectful of our home -- very clean and tidy. Once installed they took the time to show us the features and explained how both the unit and remote worked. Very nice guys! And a shout out to salesman Colin Jones who helped us with this purchase as well as our propane furnace last year.
Tyler and Jeremy removed my rental tank [which they were not able to empty - it was old, full of silt and very heavy] and installed a new water heater last week. They worked with the rental company's guy to help him empty and move it to his truck. They were efficient and knowledgeable about the water heater and when the gas had to be turned off, turned off the valve at the fireplace as well. They also ensured that when the gas was turned back on that there were no leaks in the pipes. I was happy with the experience and if you really want to stand out with clients and outdo your competitors, take the time to wipe up water and sweep the floor. That seems to be a service that you no longer see.
D&K installed a ductless heat/AC system in my old farmhouse. I called four local HVAC companies in hopes to getting a couple of quotes. D&K was the only company that called back & arranged a date. The installation by Rob & Brian was clean, & professional. They worked hard over the 2 days to set it all up & took time to teach me how to operate & maintain the new system. Very pleased

Consumer Beware! ($99 service call became a $201call) Jack, the service guy from D&K, came to assess our gas stove problem. He was very pleasant and efficient. We needed a new thermocouple and a thermopile. Our service call was $99 plus $102, that would be refunded when we had the repair completed by them. If we chose to have the repair done elsewhere D&K would keep the extra $102. We chose elsewhere. D&K claimed the $99 was for the knock on our door and the $102 was for the assessment. By law, a service call includes recommendations. Don't be bullied. They will refund the extra fee!!.
Gerald was excellent. He was polite, pleasant and masked when he entered the house. He was knowledgeable, obviously knowing his job and quickly identified the source of the problem with the water heater. The required part was not in his vehicle but he returned in a short time and fixed the problem.
Only 1 star because otherwise, it would not post. Twice we requested quotes for our new build -- heating, AC, air exchange, ductwork, etc. The whole shebang! Twice I sent plans for our house and the heat loss study. The first time we requested was in March/April. When we enquired about it, they had "lost" our plans. I sent them again in June. Here it is nearly the end of July and we still have heard nothing from them. Not "we are too busy now to quote any more jobs for the period of ---". Not a legit quote. Not even an acknowledgement of receipt of the plans. I am very disappointed in this company. I had heard that they were a quality company but not in my estimation. I realize that all the trades are very, very busy but common courtesy should still reign. I will not be recommending this company
If they gave out more than 5 stars - that's what Brian and Rob would get for their recent install at my place . They provided excellent service, the job went well and I could actually follow the demonstration on how to use everything. Great tips and attention to detail. I was happy to hear that everything went smooth with no added surprises. Thanks again - Great job! I had my Oil water boiler replaced with a new Gas boiler the last 2 days. The Tech's Tyler and Ian where great guys. Did an amazing job in the install and cleaned up alot of my crazy pipes from other contractors. The install looks great, i wish I could post a pic of it. Thanks for all of your hard work guys. Now I am waiting for the gas company to install the meter.... It's 7PM and getting cool again. So Union Gas still hasn’t shown up. Thanks Martin for explaining the issues you’re having with Union Gas.

We had a great experience with D&K. Right from the quoting process and sales with Shawn Watts straight through to the end of installation we had excellent care. Brian and Rob did our install and kept me informed of their steps. They took the time to involve us in the placement and reasoning behind the changes being a retrofit system. They were Very professional and concerned for our comfort during the whole process. I highly recommend D&K to anyone.

we moved here almost 6 years ago; we put in a new Lennox high efficiency (98% efficient) propane furnace; every year we purchase the maintenance package a year in advance; I call it the 'tune up'; we have had MIKE VANDERVELDE as the service technician; he is a top notch tech & we highly recommend him; actually, it is because of MIKE that we use D&K; we know commercial techs that could do our services and with a smile too; we use MIKE V; as long as MIKE V is there, he is our request; we believe that his pay should be 'doubled'; I have been in business and/or self employed my entire life; I am now 67 yrs old; if i were to ever hire employees again, I would look for people just like MIKE V; I'd actually hire MIKE V in a heartbeat; Merry CHRISTMAS ... and GOD Bless ... I called D&K heating service to get our air conditioning working. The service call was only $99, and we were cool again. Then a part failed in our unit. Another call, a part later, and the air was back on. We paid for the part only. This time, our air wasn't running again. I called, a wire was rerouted, and we are up and going. No charge. I am impressed, in this day and age with everyone having their hands in your pocket, it is very refreshing to find a trustworthy company that stands behind their motto, of, 100% satisfaction... We live in the residential 4 seasons part of Quinte Isle Campark. I was so impressed with their reasonable rates, that I have sent an email to the 70 permanent families that live here, in case either their air conditioning, or furnace needs repair, that's how impressed we were. Complete HVAC system installed recently in our home. Tyler K. and Luke W. the technicians that were working on the installation were knowledgeable and very conscientious about completing the job to our satisfaction. They consulted on every aspect of the installation and explained the workings of the system from the thermostat to changing of furnace filters. Brian and Seth did a fantastic job installing a new furnace in my older home. Not only they worked with a high level of craftsmanship, they've also did a clean job throughout. You can tell when folks know their trade. The old furnace and oil tank were removed on a second appointment as they needed extra help from a second crew. Again, great execution. D&K was not the cheapest option but I'm so glad I went with them.

Was lied to and told about ten times they could "legally not hook the furnace up to the propane tanks" because they wanted us to go with gerows propane which is more expensive so we said no. They wanted us to do that so that they didn't have to hook it up and that gerows would make money off of us... It took about a month after for them to agree to come and hook it up because YES they are able to do it but did not want to do it...after spending $10,000 the customer service was conpletely awful and I would never recommend them to anyone for the soul fact that Shaun lied to us repeatedly....lost our paperwork...and lied some more. It is completely understand until true that they are "legally not allowed to hook it up" . Called the nice secretary who immediately said yes they do hook them up...i guess just not for the people who spend 10,000$ ...only the ones who call and are not purchasing through them...then of course they would accept the money. Awful experience. Go with reliance.. at least they won't lie to you and try to scam you.
I contacted D&K for a new furnace quotation, along with contacting two other local heating and cooling businesses. D&K was the best choice, not just for price, but overall excellent service! From meeting with the sales consultant, to installation technicians, and speaking with their customer service reps, they have proven to be one of the best in this business with quality service and keeping the customer happy. I would highly recommend!

First class service even after hours. It's a year later and we have nothing but praise for D & K. All the staff we've dealt with in person or on the phone have been courteous and professional (today it was Steve S for AC maintenance). With the regular maintenance, our furnace, fireplace and AC have all been working flawlessly.
Brian and Rob just finished the installation of a new AC with Heat Pump and Ductless AC. They were extremely professional and completed the work on time and as promised. We are very pleased with their work delivered.

Labour cost way overpriced, even Lennox dealer agrees. Charged 400$ for an hours work. Asked for a copy of service agreement, never got it. No explanation, just thats the cost.
We had a mini split air conditioning installed and we are in an older home so this was not a straight forward job. Brian and Seth did a great job and explained everything to us. Dan and Tyler came and done a couple of adjustments and we are very pleased with the outcome Dawn and Dave
