Actually I received a call from Cris at 8:20 AM telling me he was on his way for the 9:00 AM appointment. He arrived at 8:50 AM. It was nice to see him on time. He was polite, friendly and know their product. The wiring was fixed within the hour. This is the second time that I have used them. When the work was done running new wires and electrical box work I examined the house and it was absolutely clean, no mess at all, no damage to the walls to repair. Wow... Terrific company to work with. I was able to book an appointment for the installation of a pendant light fixture online. We booked the appointment and were advised of the charges prior to the electricians attending our home. The front entry of our home is 11.5 feet high and the lead electrician had the proper height of the fixture figured out within 60 seconds. The old fixture was removed and the new one installed within 40 minutes of their arrival. They were very pleasant to deal with and even took a damp rag and cleaned the dirt from around the old fixture base. They did a great job. I called 705 with an emergency and Chris came right out. I hadn't owned my home long when I noticed the panel was extremely hot to the touch, after inspecting the issue Chris explained the panel was overloaded and suggested an affordable solution, as the new owner with grand future plans I wanted to go over and above so we worked out a plan. In the end we upgraded the service, added an automatic back-up generator and an extra panel in the garage. To say the least... problem solved and... Mancave in progress :-) Thank you 705!!! We want to thank 705 Electric very much! Today Friday, June 19,th, our A/C, Fridge, Freezer & stove shut-down, as well as half of the lights in our house shut off due to an electrical problem. I called 705 Electric to come look at it; but unfortunately they, like most electricians, were fully booked until Monday; however Yvonne of 705 asked me, “Is it half of your outlets and lights that are off.” I said yes and she suggested that I call Alectra (the old Power Stream company) because there are usually 2 cables that enter the house and “one of them may be faulty”. Sure enough that was the problem! Alectra fixed the issue. It was very kind of Yvonne, who by the way was very friendly too, for taking the time to give that suggestion. It is highly appreciated, especially with the very hot and humid weather that we will have over the next few days. Thank you 705 Electric and Yvonne in particular! What an amazing experience. Theres many jobs I'm able to do myself but electrical is one I prefer not to. I was hesitant in hiring a big name knowing they can be both expensive and difficult to deal with. Chris and his team were neither of those things. He was quick to show up, had very fair pricing and was able to give me pointers along the way. I will not hesitate to call them when I'm ready to redo the basement. This is the second time we have had 705 Electric come to our home for electrical repairs. The previous home owner though he was an electrician as well as a home repair guy. This time we had wires removed that were illegally installed and were fire hazards, light bars removed and replaced with proper lighting. Wiring going to three different light bars was so excessive that each was replace with just one and the others removed. Proper lights were installed, and all this was done without us knowing they were there (except for a little noise occasionally). I feel safer now just knowing that real electricians did all the work. Thanks again to Chris and his crew for am awesome job done. ????????????
