If I could give the owner and his workers more stars I would! They have went out of their way and responded same day on 2 separate occasions. My panel box at my business kept kicking off my heaters on an extremely cold day. And another time when some tree branches hit my LED lit up building sign while i was out of town. My girlfriend & I needed some fixtures installed and we decided to give Marc a call. Marc right away was very straight forward with pricing and was pretty flexible with times to do an installation. One particular light was in a high stairwell, so Marc had to make quite the contraption to reach it. Definitely wasn't an easy install, however he made it work! Two other lights we had we're from Asia and Poland so the brackets and such weren't designed for North American standards, so he had to make a few little changes with them, and made them work. Marc certainly cares a lot about getting the job done and done right. He's very knowledgeable and I would most definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a electrician! :)

Had Marc the Electric Man over to connect 2 phone lines for my dry loop DSL. Although he was running a little late, he was friendly and professional and went above and beyond by connecting EVERY phone line in the house. When I asked him why, he said "Why not?". It might have taken only a couple minutes to do it, but it meant a lot to me and it is VERY appreciated. You don't get that kind of service from your ISP who more often than not only do the bare minimum. For anyone looking for a similar experience like mine, I absolutely recommend Electric Man. Here’s my experience with Electricman: I called to enquire about repairing/replacing a bathroom ceiling fan and someone answered with “Hello?”, not identifying that it’s a company number, so I asked “Is this Mr. Electricman?” He responded “It’s ‘Electricman’, not ‘Mr. Electricman’.” Off to a great start. When I asked if they repair or replace dead bathroom ceiling fans, the man gave out this exasperated (and exaggerated!) sigh then told me yes, they do, however with old ceiling fans, the parts are too hard to come by and there’s really not much you can do (I still hadn’t told him anything about the make/model/age of the fan, I literally just asked the initial question). So I asked if there’s any way to replace the fan altogether; again, he started listing reasons why it just can’t be done. I was so confused, he said they do ceiling fan work when I asked and people don’t simply go the rest of their lives without ceiling fans when the motor dies... Why was this man being so difficult? He clearly thought I was wasting his time and didn’t want my business. The call continued in this manner for a few minutes then I gave up and said “Ok, well I guess I’ll try somewhere else?” “Ok,” he said, and hung up. I looked at my partner in awe and we just sort of laughed. I’ve waited until the work was completed with another company before posting this review. I went with Real Canadian Electric (I’ll post a 5 star review on their page soon, they were amazing) and it was the simplest job of replacing the ceiling fan, took less than 90 minutes and was completely affordable. Boom. I’m still so confused about the exchange I had with the Electricman employee on the phone.

My wife shared what had happened, and attempted to book an appointment. She was instead given step by step instructions over the phone on how to fix the problem, which saved us $220! Would highly recommend this service, as they appear to be very open and honest about costs upfront. Really appreciate how electricman took the time out of his evening, to help us out completely free of charge. We contacted Mark today to set up an appointment for electrical service, as both bathroom lights, fans, and outlets were out. We had tried repeatedly turning the breaker switch on and off to no avail. Without hesitation or service charge to us, he kindly said we could take care of this over the phone by pressing the reset button on one of the bathroom outlets. Worked like magic. This gentleman could have very easily come to our home and charged a service call for something that was a simple fix, but he didn't. Disappointed and discouraged by a condescending and unprofessional reception. We called this number a little late thinking their Google Ad says it was 24hr service and maybe we could get an estimate, at the least. But additionally, first we got a lecture from Mark there, on them being charged a $18 call fee by google for every call they receive!? And thereafter, a further lesson(with laughter) on our ignorance on household electrical wiring. We immediately decided against dealing with this company! We just saw some good reviews online and trusted them to pick Electricman first on our list of companies to call.

Their pricing was transparent and fair. $220 seams like a lot - but it includes the first hour of service. He was professional and informative. If you need an electrician I highly recommend electricman! Side Note:. Be very wary of the consolidated contractors. They offer a set callout fee that can sound reasonable. But it does not include any time and the technician can only choose from a set of fixed price services from their iPad - no matter what your actual issue is.

A few weeks back I was working on vacuuming my upper floor when all the sockets stopped working and the breaker switches were not staying on. I called him on Saturday morning and he came to our house promptly at 2pm as promised. He fixed the issue and installed our Smart outlet in under an hour.
