Very dissapointed, would give 0 stars if possible. Came to Banff for a day trip and the coolant hose came off. We called them for coolant and just to borrow plyers to put the hose back on. The lady at the front was very honest and helpful. The mechanic that came out started off being arrogant and rude arguing with my boyfriend. After both of us and him getting even more frustrated he came out with a new hose clamp and tools to put back on for us. He clamped the hose so tight it crushed and sheered off the plastic. We live 3 hours away and the neerest comercial mechanics or european car shop is in Calgary. I would never use this place or suggest it to anyone! I would certainly hope that if someone were hours away and came to you for help that you wouldnt turn them away. Your technician was VERY persistant that any coolant can go in his car even though most coolants contain a chemical compound that wont mix with G12 and can possibley eat away at the aluminum housing in most european cars. Your technician swore that there was absolutely no way possible to put the clamp on the plyers even though ive seen multiple people do it hundreds of times. Since he was so persistant on putting a hose clamp on it himself he actually over tightened and crushed the plastic the hose attaches to. As it was a friday afternoon itd be almost impossible for anyone to get a part in. So since your technician swore he knew best we now had to get our family to pick up a part and tools and drive 3 hours to bring them to us so we could fix it properly. They thankfully took time out of their day to do so otherwise we would be forced to find a hotel in banff. We now also have $50 of coolant (which was already open and pre used when you sold it to us) that is garbage because theres no way we will put it in our car again.

We took our car because it was acting weird. The first day they made a mechanic test it and could not find anything so they told me that next day someone else would check it and same thing happened. They gave us some advise of what we were doing that made the car act like this, really honest service and caring, since they did not find anything they did not charge us. We will definitely take our car back.

AMAZING service and kindness. While traveling through Banff on a really rainy day in September, our rental car’s left wiper stopped working making the car unsafe and useless. The rental company was unhelpful and wanted us to drive the unsafe vehicle an hour away for repair. We called Banff Services and Will met us at the door. Will fixed our car in the pouring down rain with a smile and great attitude. Thanks for saving our vacation!!

Last weekend I was travelling from Revelstoke to the Red Deer River for a canoe trip and my brakes started badly grinding when I pulled in for gas in Banff. I did a quick Google search for local mechanics and saw that Banff Service had the best reviews, so I gave them a call and spoke to Courtney. Courtney was very upfront and told me that they were about to close for the day but they could fit me in first thing in the morning. It turned out that I needed a complete brake overhaul and it was going to take all day. She kept me informed and let me know how much it would cost and when my van would be ready etc. So I made the most of it and spent the day hiking around Banff and the van was ready by late afternoon. I'm very very thankful that Courtney managed to fit me in with no notice at all and I'm very happy with my brakes now. Thank you guys! :)

Booked my car in for 11am for an inspection to find out whats wrong, dropped it off and let them know that i was waiting for them in Banff. No contact at all, by 3pm still waiting. Rang them with not much help, waited another hour and finally they told me very vaguely what was wrong. I went to pick it up, didn't even get a straight answer what the problem was, they told me to replace all coils and MAF sensor. Told me there was a misfire, didn't tell me which cylinder. After all this, i got all the coils and MAF replaced to the problem not being fixed. Didn't feel helped at all and wish i never went there. Waste of money and time.

My dad's car died so we googled a mechanic in Banff that can look at the car. When we called, they said they can only check the car on Saturday. It was Friday afternoon and there was no rental available. However, the mechanic was kind enough and looked at my dad's car anyways. They diagnosed the problem and said that the battery needs replacement. My dad was supposed to pick up a new battery in Canmore but the mechanic's dad even offered to pick it up for my dad. Thank you so much for your kindness. Definitely recommend this shop. God bless you!

Love the team here! They are all so friendly, and always helpful. Even running out to the vehicle I had dropped off when I called because I had forgot something in the car. They checked for me and had my stuff there when I arrived to grab it. Also, their shop dog is an old soul but such a big sweetheart! More interested in treats than anything else.

I have to say that these guys saved our roadtrip! We drove through the Industry district looking for a mechanic that would help us to fix something minor. Most of them were closed or overfilled with appointments. As we drove past this shop we saw one of the guys loading something into his car, so we stopped and asked if he could just take a look at our tire! He helped us within 10 minutes even though it was good Friday and he had other places to be! Me and my best friend can`t express how grateful we are!

Did not charge me anything to diagnose the problem and tell me how to get home safely without having to replace the radiator at that time. He checked my oil too and added some just as an added bonus. We wre on a road trip in our minivan from Mississauga to Banff and on 20th September I found that there is a smoke coming out from under the hood. I immediately checked the nearby mechanics and found that Banff service has best reviews. I went there in the morning and yes they are the best workshop in Banff. Coutney, Will ans Sal were very helpful. They squeezed me in despite other appointments. Will explain me in detail what is really needed to fix the minivan and what can be done later. They were very honest and didn't try to add anything extra to my bill and fixed what was necessary. Thank you guys

Pulled in with car making strange sound. The staff was very friendly and even did a quick diagnostic. The mechanic out front was busy on a job but still took time to help. We took a quick rip around the block, by the time we made it back to the shop he had diagnosed it as left rear wheel bearing failure. His diagonosis was fast and right on! We were on vacation from Montana with a Subaru outback.

(Translated) I had a breakdown during my vacation in Banff and I was not satisfied with the service of the garage The staff were friendly but I had to wait 5 days for a mechanical part, with delays that have changed 3 times. In the end, following the repair, I had exactly the same breakdown 1 week later in another city. In addition, the price of the new part was much higher than in the other garage. I do not recommend this garage. (Original) J'ai eu une panne pendant mes vacances à Banff et je n'ai pas été satisfait de la prestation du garage Le personnel a été sympathique mais j'ai du attendre 5 jours une piece mécanique, avec des délais qui ont changé 3 fois. Au final suite à la réparation, j'ai eu exactement la même panne 1 semaine plus tard dans une autre ville. En plus le prix de la pièce neuve était beaucoup plus élevée que dans l'autre garage. Je ne recommande pas ce garage.

I just needed a quick check on my car’s fluids (brake, power steering, etc.) Even if they were super busy, they took the time to look at them and make sure my car was good to go. The mechanic was such a great guy and he gave me a few tips for my old car. Highly recommend!

Today when I pass through the Banff, when the speed over 100 km my car start shaking, I am a little bit worried about safe so google this auto shop to take a look, it’s during lunch time so I can’t find anyone from their office, I have to ask some help from the workshop, there’s one dude he was so nice and helpful, after help me check out the wheels he told me there might be some mud on my wheels destroy the balance of the car, after wash all of the wheels everything’s good again. Simply the best possible experience!! We're seasonal here in Canmore, having driven from the US in our 2008 Prius. We've had intermittent warning lights that will require a visit to a Toyota dealer (closest is in Cochrane). I called Banff Service and asked if Will could/would run codes on the car to see what was causing the warning lights. He was terrific; said it would be alright if we stopped by the same day and he would help me right away. That's exactly what happened. Will gave me the code so I would have fewer concerns before visiting Toyota in Cochrane. I also know what part will be needed for the repair. I offered a couple of times to pay for the service, but Will refused...very kind. You simply can't ask for better!!

My friends and I had a flat tire in a rental car driving up to Banff from Montana. After changing the tire to the spare we brought the tire to this service center to potentially be repaired. Although the tire wasn’t repairable, they checked all of our other tires for safety and did all of this swiftly, without an appointment and were extremely kind and helpful.

Vacationing in Banff when we encountered unusual noise in our vehicle. We were concerned about travelling home so contacted Banff service to have the vehicle checked. We were accommodated the next day and had the necessary repairs completed (bearing and caliper replacement). The work was done quickly and under estimate and we were relieved to have our vehicle ready for our return trip. OMG--this place is amazing!! We broke down in Banff during a short getaway from Calgary--what a pain. We had our car towed to Banff Service just because we had to pick a place and it was Sunday and everything was closed. When my trucks alternator quit right outside Banff, I was forced to tow to a mechanic. I was nervous for my bank account- whatever shop I chose had me by the balls as I wasn’t going to tow it anywhere else. Thankfully I chose this shop- they were incredible. We had a flat tire on the way to Banff. I dropped the flat tire in the morning. They called me back early in the afternoon mentioning the tire could not get fixed. They asked our timeline; we were leaving the next day. They made some phone calls; and found tires for us in Canmore. We picked up the tires. Upon arrival at the shop, they took immediately care of us and changed the tires. Awesome service; really a great job!!
