K-Jay did the electrical in the new home I built and moved into last summer, and they did a tremendous job with the special requests I made while the house was being constructed (including a last-minute upgrade to the line out to my garage). Now, a year later I've discovered some additional items I would like to add, and they've once again responded quickly and courteously. I recommend K-Jay for any electrical work you need; I'll definitely be calling them when I develop my basement in future.

There worker Troy stole power from my house while working on the building next door. His excuse was that his generator ran out of gas and he was quote "too lazy" to go get some. Didn't come knock on the door and ask. when I confronted him he stayed in the house he was working on and didn't even come talk to me personally, he yelled from another room that he was sorry and had excuse after excuse. I called Mike and left a detailed message of the incident and never received a call back either. A company that is okay with theft and this level of ignorance I would never allow into my home or business to do work.

Appointment scheduled for 10am, technician arrived at 10:01am. When does that ever happen? Usually I take time off work for a 4 hour window for technicians to come and they still show up late. Very pleasant and professional. Took a look at the problem, explained to me what happened, replaced the faulty socket, tested his work, and then took a look at the other sockets in our new home to make sure the original builders didn't mess up any of those. In and out in 15 mins and I have power again. Good stuff guys.

Based on my personal experience with K-Jay today it looks like K-Jay is doing well! In fact they are doing so well that it looks like they are not interested in new clients and are not afraid to show it! Called them today to make an appointment for one of their electricians to come to my place to look at the problem I have. Got ping-ponged around by two people at fist, ended up with Grant. Grant was so busy doing something else at his desk while speaking to me that he was loosing parts of our conversation again and again and I had to explain what we just discussed to him over and over again. After a while I got tired of being treated like this and decided to try other businesses in Edmonton that are not doing so well and might actually be interested in new clients.
