I recently hired Blue Collar Electric for our renovation on our home. We required alot of changes to the current electrical as well as new. The team at blue collar showed up on the scheduled day, on time and prepared to do all of the work. They obviously are very experienced renovations taking care not to make huge holes in wall or ceilings when running new plugs and switches. Garth was great to work with and was adaptable when new or unexpected things came up on the job. Everyone cleaned up after each day, leaving us with a livable home at the end of each day. Darren was also great on the finish install, taking care of everything on my task list. Any questions I had were answered and taken care of extremely quick, he even took the time to speak with my husband with some questions he had even after a very long day. I really appreciate the professionalism, attitude and quality of work from all the team at Blue Collar Electric. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone I know.

We recently experienced some electrical issues in our office, particularly with our lighting. After exhausting our personal capabilities (ie; changing the bulbs) and coming up unsuccessful, we reached out to Blue Collar Electric. After having dealt with many trades in the past, I can confidently say the experience was fantastic from start to finish. They were extremely responsive, communication was clear every step of the way, and they had the problem resolved far quicker then we anticipated. I should note the issue turned out to be in one of our main office spaces, and they were able to make the required repairs during business hours and not impact our work environment at all. Well done! I want to share my excellent experience with Blue Collar Electric. After some faulty wiring nearly led to a fire in my basement I had Tyler and his team come to my house, fix the primary issue, and then perform a full inspection of my entire house. Blue Collar Electric showed up at the promised time, looking clean and professional. He went through our electrical with a fine-toothed comb, pointed out a few areas where we could improve things (newer smoke detectors, etc.), and even helped replace an appliance bulb on my microwave that had been giving me trouble. All this was taken care of for us quickly and at a fair price. I sleep much more soundly knowing that my house is safe for my wife and kids. I have called on Brian several times to do various jobs for my business. We had a problem with air circulation in the back part of the shop. I had several trades offer opinions and potential solutions. We decided to go with ceiling circulation fans. Brian quoted and completed the job within 2 weeks. Knowing that doing the installation during business hours would disrupt production, he offered to come in on a Saturday to complete the job giving up family time to do so. When having our wide format installed I needed information quickly pertaining to the power source prior to setup. We invited Eric to Bonstar Accounting’s office to see if we could get more lighting in our home office, which has a vaulted ceiling. He said it was going to be tricky but doable. We would like to thank Garth for his professionalism and cleanliness while he was installing the light fixture. Garth took extra time to ensure the light was going to be installed in the appropriate spot to maximize the amount of light over the work area. He ensured the work area was well covered, so the office desks would not get covered in debris from the installation and we were still able to continue working. Garth was well prepared, professional and completed all the work in a reasonable amount of time and most importantly the work was excellent.
