I took my in-class and in-drivering classes here and it is the absolute best thing ever. The teacher Bari Abdul makes you want to sit in a tiny classroom EVERYDAY SINGLE DAY. I want this teacher for all my high school, university, and even any types of sport classes. The program and the course that he teaches is great and interactive, there isn't a dull moment. And I this is probably the most convincing point that should make you not go anywhere else is that I had less that 4 hours of sleep each day when I came to the class and I just couldn't fall asleep in the classroom because how engaged I wa. P.S I got perfect on everything in the class (quizzes, test, assignments, etc.) but I didn't finished my booklet which was basically the 10 hours required to pass, I had 30% of the entire thing done and he still gave me a perfect and made me past because I won't otherwise, so bless this man and the person who hired him.

I had a great experience with AMB at the Yonge and Sheppard location. Bari was a great in class instructor that made a dry topic into something entertaining with a lot of jokes. My in car instructor (Sharjeel Syed) was very patient, calm and a great teacher. He was able to pick out my flaws and help me fix them. I highly recommend AMB. I just passed my G1 exit test (G2) with a 96%.

Awesome experience, both in class and in car. Aziz was a fantastic instructor who chose to explain the practical stuff as opposed to bookish knowledge. Sharjeel was also amazing for the car lessons, always pointing out mistakes gently rather than mockingly. I took my G2 test in Downsview (arguably one of the tougher locations) and passed in the first attempt thanks to amb driving school and their wonderful teachers! Thank you guys :)

Driving School Scummary: Staff: Pleasant, easy to talk to, outgoing and very informative. Bari Abdul: A great guy, makes you pay attention to the content, experienced guy and a good teacher. Definitely one of my favorite teachers! In-Car: Great service, they assign in car drivers for you and not by the standard location. Manager: Great guy! At the end of your in class he will speak to you to let you know his number in case you have problems with anything else for certification.

This is the best driving school in North York! I had completed my G2 road test successfully with the help of my LEGEND instructor BARI ABDUL. If you are lucky you will get an appointment scheduled with bari instructor. His teaching is incredible both in car lessons as well as in class. I really enjoyed his in class lessons and in car training. He was very patient, knowledgeable and encourage us while driving. He never demotivate us even though we drive bad. I thank him for all his support to get my g2 license. I'm very happy I have found this place. I 100% recommend this place to all new drivers.

Bari is an incredible instructor. He still you up quickly and is very calm, relaxed and patient. As an experienced driver, after one lesson he told me I can take the exam if I'm ready. I was initially worried about instructors milking all they could, but Bari is honest and genuinely wants to help his students. After two lessons I did the exam and passed and went from G1 to G. If you want to learn the rules here and pass quicly, go with Bari.

My instructor for G2 test was Mr. Sharjeel, i pass with a mark of 92% i was very happy how the instructor approach the driving learning to new student. My mom won't even let me drive her car because she said i will crash any second. But the instructors from AMB are all friendly and nice, so that make people feel more confidence to drive and learned more. Right now i am doing my G license with him, hopefully i pass with the same mark as G2. I totally recommend people to go get the in-class and in-car package. Best school ever.!!!!!

I also had the best driving instructor named Sharjeel Syed, he was very kind and professional and was very easy to follow instructions. Not only are the in class lessons with Bari engaging, my in car lesson instructor Rhamat is extremely effective at teaching me how to drive and perfectly parallel park all with a positive, and funny attitude. If you get Rhamat as a driving instructor be prepared for jokes, light sarcasm, a positive attitude, and a lot of knowledge!

I have yet to take my g2 test as the test centers are booked up but I feel very prepared. I took the in class lessons before getting my g1, and my instructor Bari was amazing. He was enthusiastic and very informative. As soon as COVID allowed for in-car lessons, I messaged my instructor Parijat who got back to me within one hour. It only took one day for us to schedule all 10 hours and I didn't have to wait more than a week for my first lesson. She was amazing and very patient! She let me do a mock g2 test and even wrote out corrections for me to take home. I would recommend her and AMB to anyone :)

Contrary to the positive reviews for this school, I am really disappointed. To think I chose them based on their positive reputation. My in class experience was okay, but it was the driving part that was subpar. My instructor dragged the 10 hours for 4 months as she would constantly cancel or reschedule for whatever reason. I was understanding and focused on the end result. I thought she was doing her job as a instructor, but she wasn't. On the day of my road test, I was supposed to learn parallel parking between lines. In addition to that, she didn't explain anything about the routine you are asked to do before you start your road test. I was completely unprepared and failed. She couldn't care less, no feedback, no suggestions, nothing. I still hadn't given up on the school and the instructor at this point. However, after trying to schedule my 2nd road test, I asked the school whether I can take it at Lindsay test centre and what would be rate for that. Their offer was $250 on top of the $190 I had already paid. I insisted that they do something about the outrageous charge given my experience so far with the instructor. After arguing that their goal is to have students PASS THEIR ROAD TEST, their response was THAT IS NOT THEIR GOAL,but to teach. This statement is beyond ridiculous as this is not public school, but a paid one that is supposed to help you get your driving license. In my opinion, I paid for a service that they advertised, but failed to provide. I cannot express how unprofessional those people are.

Instructor Bari was nice and very enthusiastic for the classes, however there was a language barrier at times and it was a bit hard to understand him but overall a great teacher as he made the classes interesting. Instructor Khyber was good for the driving lessons, he was patient and gave me great advice for passing the G2 test, however if I made a big mistake he had a short temper and was often on his phone but overall a good instructor that took driving and teaching seriously. I would recommend AMB driving.

The staff are accommodating and the in-class lessons were much more interesting than expected. They gave a lot of tips about driving, car maintenance and insurance - much more than what is available in the MTO driver's handbook. My first driving instructor was really bad but AMB changed the instructor very quickly upon request. My second instructor, Sharjeel Syed was very patient and good. I would recommend him

I had quite a whirlwind with this driving school. To begin, the customer service and the office of this school is pretty good, with quick responses to my issues, and responding apologetically. My first in car instructor Ramhat, spent lessons on his phone, catching up on calls, texts, and facebook videos. He was so disattentive, he would tell me to take a turn as i was going through an intersection since he was so distracted during the lesson. He cancelled on my 2 times within 10 minutes of my scheduled appointment. I requested a new instructor as I didnt think Ramhat was giving me my moneys worth and i was assigned to Amin, who was a great instructor but i had to wait 2 weeks to get a lesson with him. Overall, if you want value for your money, don't go with this school.

I chose AMB Driving school and had no regrets at all. Rahmat taught me how to drive safely and gave me a lot of pointers. Every time I did something wrong, he’d ask me to park the car so I can read the road rules and laws to realize my mistake. Rahmat is very patient and nice. Overall, it was a nice experience. I will certainly sign up again next year for my road test for the G license. Two thumbs up! ????

My instructor was called Jamal. He was always extremely patient and polite, establishing a peaceful atmosphere inside the car. When you start to drive in a different country, with different traffic rules, this calmer environment is very important to ensure you will actually learn how to drive, not just pass the exam. Earned my G2 license on Friday, July 29th, 2016, so I thought I'd re-write my review. I passed first time and my test took place at the Metro East Lawrence & VP Drivetest location. ---- In-class instruction under Bari is great. He's funny, polite, and a great educator who is willing to answer all of your questions. I took the 4-day course and the 20-hours were well worth it. For my in-car driving lessons, my instructor was Reza Yusuf. He is a patient, well-mannered teacher who gave me the confidence to have fun getting behind the wheel while also paying attention to the laws. His instruction made all the skills easy to acquire. Things like parallel parking, 3-point turn, reverse parking - that you are required to know for the exam - became a cinch to pull off. I really like how every lesson felt like a fresh start thanks to Reza's revision. It's funny because now I check my blindspot over the shoulder even while walking. AMB is well worth it and a great school for any prospective driver!

Instructor Bari is pretty good. Very informative, creates relaxed environment, and is very professional. Class is OK, they don't allow food which can be annoying over the course of a long class.

The in-class part is fine, the driving portion is not up to par, and the only driving centres they will take you to are Downsview and East York. They have a 52% and 44% failure rate for G2 tests respectively, some of the worst in Ontario. So even if you spend your money here and they tell you you can drive, you will almost certainly fail the test the first time and will probably fail it the second. Good luck getting to the third since after a year, they have a clause that says their services time out, and rebooking a new test will give you an appointment about 3 months after the last unless you plan for failure. Which they tell you not to do. If you have anyone else who can help you learn how to drive in a city instead of these guys taking you down suburban back roads for 10 hours and then saying you can pull into four lane intersection that pulls out of the drive centre, you will save money and time avoiding all these lessons which don’t actually apply to city driving. I understand for people without a car, or who don’t know anyone who owns a car to help them, these guys are your only (sad) option, but they depend on you having “extra practice with your parents at home” anyway, so just wait until you have a chance to learn with someone you trust. Good luck to kids who don’t have parents or whose parents don’t own a car. I’ve used their services. I don’t have a licence. I wasted my time and money. Please don’t do what I did. Also for my second test, when I was about to leave for Montreal, my driving instructor didn’t show up. So I missed my test and my G1 licence timed out. Didn’t even send a text to tell me he was flushing $600 of my money down the toilet.

Due to COVID I took the online course and surprisingly it was great. I don't really like online learning but their modules were engaging and the time went by much quicker than I expected. For the in-car lessons I was assigned Jamal, who was awesome. He's a really nice guy and communicated clearly. He helped me catch a number of bad driving habits I had developed and by the end of the lessons I had improved a lot and felt confident. I would definitely recommend AMB's online course and especially Jamal for the in-car lessons.

I haven't had any driving experience whatsoever before getting into his car and was a little nervous but he made me feel comfortable and safe. My driving instructor was Sharjeel Syed. He told me everything that I needed to know to pass my G2 and G driving test. He told me all the things examiners require during the driving tests and pointed out all my mistakes so that I wouldn't repeat them. He was gentle and kind in our driving lessons and offered pointers on what I needed to work on after each lesson. He did not judge me when I made mistakes which was much appreciated as it improved my confidence in driving. I would highly recommend Syed as a driving instructor!

Rahmat, my instructor, helped me correct few mistakes and fixed some habits I picked over the time and got me ready for the test. My second instructor was Sharjeel, he allowed me to finish my hours quickly even with my busy schedule. He also covered everything very well and gave helpful tips when needed. AMB is a great school and has made me feel incredibly ready for my road test. Bari teaches you to be both a good and defensive driver as well as how to pass the road test. Went to North York location, taught by Bari Abdul. Classes were very well organized my Bari and he was very professional and funny he made the class fun and relaxed. He was strict about certain topic when need be but this is a driving school and things should be taken seriously. I loved coming to class and he ensured everything will be okay. What I enjoyed the most was the way Bari spoke. He would say things several times and it would stick in your head so when we did the quizzes they were very easy. He also showed us a lot of examples and spoke clear to make sure everything would understand. I really appreciate that. Great school overall!

I took "in class" and "in car" lessons at AMB. The "in class" lessons where more focused on explaining the official MTO driver's handbook. The "in car" lessons where professional and well organized by instructor Kamil Duray. He was panctual, patient and informative during the practical courses. Highly recommend amb driving school at North York. The in-class with Aziz was fun and informative and wasn't a drag like I thought it would be. My driving instructor Edgar was very accommodating and helped me to learn how to drive. I was able to pass my road test on the first try.

I passed my G2 on my first try, and I would recommend this specific branch. My in-class instructor was Bari, and he was amazing and enthusiastic on how he teaches. Never was there a boring time in his class and he will answer any of your questions properly. My in-car instructor was Rahmat, and he is amazingly strict and will call you out on every wrong -- which is not a bad thing as I pretty much breezed through my G2 because of this. I would have given 5 stars, but the point deduction goes to how long it took for me to actually get a dedicated in-car instructor. If it was smooth sailing right after the in-class lessons were over, it would have been an easy 5 star.

Don't recommend this place at ALL. Their driver David is extremely rude and unprofessional. After months of trying to get a lesson he decided to tell me to get another instructor. Ended up calling AMB and told them what happened and they switched my driver after a month! finished up my course after seven months of starting it because of the awful customer service and inconvenience. If you do happen to see good reviews it's because they bribe you with a ‘$20’ Tim Hortons gift card on the last day of the in class lessons which is actually $2. The only star I give is for my second driver Fatah who was very respectful unlike David. I did not pay $500 to be disrespected and stressed to book a simple in car lesson!!

Anyone learning to drive should beware of this place! I have had a subpar experience at AMB. The in-class sessions were alright (other than the Tim Hortons gift card bribes to get us to give them 5 star ratings) but when I started the in-car lessons, I had no clue what I was about to experience. I wish I had cancelled right there and then. My instructor was extremely unprofessional: usually late or cancelling last minute, taking bathroom breaks during my lesson and not making up the time, texting on his phone while I was driving and not helpful into making me a defensive driver. Three and incidents really stuck with me: 1) he went to Tim Hortons to get food during my lesson for 20 minutes, 2) he was very rude to me and said I was a danger on the road and listed all my driving faults within my first six hours of driving when he took me during rush hour onto busy major roads, and 3) he cancelled my planned G1 road exit test (which i would do in another car) without my permission or consent, which is terrible customer service. My other friends who have gone to this place have also had negative experiences, with instructors ignoring them and being hard to contact or even being pulled over by a policeman for the license plate being in bad condition. All of these experiences are completely unacceptable and terrible treatment of customers. I would give zero stars if I could and avoid at all costs, as they just want your money. Edit: after this happened I spoke with the AMB manager and I appreciated their customer service they provided to help resolve this issue

It was my first time driving in Toronto and I was very nervous, but he made me feel at ease right from the start. He was extremely patient and non-judgmental. I could not have asked for a better instructor. I had a bit over 10hrs of driving classes to practise as I was quite nervous about the test, but extremely happy to say that I passed the G2 road test on my first try!

I went to young driver for my g2 and it was good for my first learning classes but the instructor was rude I was always nervous for my lessons. for my g test I decided to take AMB driving school instead, I am really happy I did , if you can get Sharjeel Syed as your instructor. He is very calm and knows how to explain and guide you through the lesson. I didn’t feel nervous and was very comfortable while driving. Did my lesson before my g test and I passed. He shows you all the routes. Thank You I for a great experience ! Highly recommend

I had Faheem Malik as my in-class instructor. He's great at explaining concepts and making dry facts interesting and memorable. His style of teaching is very engaging, and class time passes by quickly. I haven't started in-car lessons yet, so no comments on that aspect.

Administratively inept. Paid for lessons upfront a month ago, and three different drivers have failed to show up at agreed upon times. Management appears to have no control over this. Despite talking to about 5 different people associated with AMB in the last month, none mentioned that the drivers test had to be booked with the province separately. I won't have a license for another 4 months due to this monumental oversight, but AMB had my money, so why would they care? If it wasn't such a large org., I would assume this was a scam, but I guess staff are just incompetent.

Had Mr. Javed as my driving instructor, I highly recommend him. He has some very good and easy (some even 1 step) instructions to follow for Highway, reverse , parallel and front in parking. Was on time for lessons and even gave extra time on lessons. Highly recommend Mr. Javed!

Giving them a 2 since the in-class instructor, Bari was good. However, the phone service was horrible. I call up to ask them if I will be able to switch my in-car instructor if I were to have any problem with the instructor, this was for my insurance, this was a simple yes or no question. However, the receptionist was rude she told me if I was gonna think something bad gonna happen then basically don't go, like this is my first time I am gonna be on the wheel, I want to feel safe with the instructor. I should have not went to AMB from that phone call but I decided to trust the review and that was the wrong choice. The in-car instructor, Khyber is always on his phone and doesn't pay attention, constantly telling you to not make him nervous or you gonna break his car. He doesn't let you practice parking as much and also never give clear instructions. He have a habit of give long instructions when you are in the middle of doing turns or in middle of doing a lane change and also expect to immediately lane change when he tell you to. He also tell to turn when you almost at the light and not giving you enough time to lane change and signal. Edit: I failed my road test because of parking and making small mistakes from nervous habits that was gained because of Khyber making me nervous the whole time I was driving, telling me don't break the car, etc.

My instructor wa sherjeel and he is ery good in teaching. I would suggest that everyone should go to him . He is very calm and punctual. His car is also well maintained .
