Victoria is my first ever voice teacher. I commenced lessons with her in my late sixties. I had sung for most of my life with very poor technique and a great deal of tension. Now, seven years later, I have completed Royal Conservatory Grades 4, 5, 6, and 7 with first class honours, and I am working on Grade 8. I have also participated in Voice courses at the Victoria Conservatory and sung solos for the first time in public concerts. Victoria is a kind and intuitive teacher who, besides her great skill and knowledge in voice technique, manages to be very demanding and at the same time always positive and encouraging. She has gradually grown my confidence over the years while painstakingly unravelling me from all my tensions and hang-ups, and nurturing my deep love of singing.
