Our wonderful dance journey with Social Ease began in 2007 and both Michelle & Gregory, our extremely talented Instructors and the owners of Social Ease, have become family to us. Their studio feels like home, always welcoming us back warmly with patience, understanding and an abundance of encouragement as we may have forgotten a step or two during life's interruptions. Dance has enriched our lives in too many ways to mention. Our memories, balance, muscle stenghth and coordination are the obvious benefits. We have formed many new and supportive friendships and discovered an entire world of social dance. But it's the heart & couple connection that mean the most to us. When we dance together, we feel like newylweds ( although it's really 45 years :-). The wonderful, and often surprised, compliments we receive are a lovely and unexpected perk at our stage of life:-) We can waltz, fox trot, cha cha, swing, salsa, bachatta, samba, rhumba & have more fun than we could have imagined. We just overheard our grandson tell his friends "They really are real dancers! " We can't thank Michelle & Gregory enough and would encourage everyone to just step through their door & discover the joy & benefits of dance!

I cannot possibly put into words just how fantastic Social Ease Dance Studio is! I am incredibly shy, but I finally took the leap and signed up for Latin dance classes last autumn by myself, and it was such a fantastic experience that I signed up for the ladies-only Shine classes recently. I feel so empowered doing this for myself, and it is helping me be less timid. I always feel welcome and comfortable, and the dances are super easy to follow. My partner and I absolutely love our private lessons at Social Ease. ✨ Michelle and Greg are beautiful souls who are very good at what they do. My partner and I do date day every week and our lessons are a part of that date day. Dance has never really interested me and now I look forward to our weekly sessions. Michelle keeps it simple and uses easy catch phrases like “nose and toes”, “how do you do” to help someone like me with 2 left feet to grasp the steps, turns and flow of the dance. So far we have learned Swing, Tango, Fox Trot, Night Club 2 Step and Cha-Cha. Our future goal is to participate in the group activities as well with the assistance of Michelle have a choreographed mash up for our Wedding in October 2022.

I cannot say enough about this studio! Greg and Michelle are incredible instructors, and they truly bring such a love of dance to all of their lessons and the programs they offer. I've been dancing at the studio for years and not only have I learned so many dances but I have made countless memories during my time so far. From studio practice parties, to group workshops, to competitions, and of course weekly lessons, there is just a wonderful energy about the studio and its people. Such a positive learning environment to share one's passion for dance. If you are even thinking of learning to dance or perhaps wanting to get back into it - this is the place to be. If you have a partner who is interested too then it's a great experience but taking one-on-one lessons on your own is excellent for really developing your skills. Either way, the dance floor awaits!

First time taking Latin dance classes or any dance classes as an adult. The venue is spectacular. The instructor is kind and very patient. She explains things in detail and I have been having a blast. If you are considering or just want to get your body moving this is a perfect start. We are a group of about 25 women in the 6 week SHINE class and it is wonderful. I am loving it and can see myself improving week after week. It feels great! Thank you!

Social Ease is so aptly named! Both Michelle and Greg embody social and physical graciousness. Upon entering the studio for the first time, you will feel at ease and comfortable in your movements (and that is coming from someone with absolutely no inate rhythm or dance genes). Both are excellent teachers and have a great way to explain things (and Michelle in particular has some cute names for your new moves - I can never forget 007..ever!)

I took the Super Salsa Saturday workshop without a partner. It was my first dance class in my life! It was amazing and fun. Michelle and Gregory made it so approachable for any level of dancer that I felt immediately relaxed. Five hours flew by and I loved it so much that I signed up for six weeks of Monday Shine which is a women’s class for Latin dance. That was also great and I can’t wait until next Monday to do it all again.
