Niagara Dog Training was great at helping us with our dog training and obedience needs! Their online dog training videos are very helpful, lots to choose from and great to refer back to anytime we need obedience or dog behaviour help for the dog problems with our puppy.

We took Lola (our Springer spaniel) to Daves obedience classes and it was the best thing we did for our dog. Dave taught us a lot about dog socialization and behaviour. It nipped a lot of OUR bad habits and helped us train our dog to be a pleasure to be around. He has a great approach and is in possession of a wealth of knowledge that really helped us with our training. We quite enjoyed working with Dave as he always had time to answer questions and his classes allow lots of one on one time. We love taking Lola to his pack walks and look forward to taking further level classes in the future with him! Highly recommend.

We are so pleased that we chose Niagara Dog Training for our puppy! Our trainer Matt was excellent!!!! We have had golden retrievers for the past twenty five years but wanted to ensure that our new puppy would be the best behaved. Matt was so knowledgeable, professional and understanding and was exactly what we wanted for Pearl in her early months of development. David McAllister trained our 6 month old yellow lab and he was fantastic! My husband and I were very concerned about our puppy's, Summit, behaviour when walking on a leash, especially since we were expecting our first baby by the time he turned 7 months!! After 5 sessions, Summit is now walking calmly on his leash, comes to me on command, sits on command, and can sit and stay. I no longer dread walking him near squirrels or blowing leaves! He is so calm and obedient. It makes having him around a newborn that much better. I highly recommend David and Niagara Dog Training. It is worth every penny!

Very unprofessional, do not live up to their commitments to clients . My daughter who is a student hired these ppl to help train her new puppy, they took almost a month to arrange a meeting “after” she paid them and then sparadically showed up for 2 lessons out of 5. She didn’t get any useful instruction and could never get her trainer to stick to a date for follow up lessons. She has contacted the owner several times by email requesting a refund for the remaining lessons she has paid for and has gotten the response that they needed to talk to the trainer and get back to her but once they confirm that information they would refund her. It has now been over the month and still no refund!!!! This is ridiculous and clearly are in the habit of ripping off clients - especially students!!! Believe we will have to go to the press to expose these con artists!! Especially when he emailed my daughter back and told her he would refund her- two weeks after that email he still hadn't so my husband contacted him cause he is taking advantage of our daughter and he is lying about sending her an etransfer - he states that he got his office manager to refund her and this is a complete lie and stall on his part - to this date he still has not refunded her!!!!!....FRAUDSTER !!!!

This place is terrible. Now that we go to a real trainer, people are appalled when we tell them of this place. I would say the rudeness of Sabina Gross toward all members of the class was only the secondary reason for the one star. The first reason was her OBSESSION with us getting a prong collar, despite Clearly saying we would not be using one. She then continued to talk down to us and say "it's going to be a lot more work and you'll need some upper body strength". Well, then I guess she's not a very good trainer... My favourite part of the class was when we walked in circles in a gym learning heel for an hour, which was not only boring for us, but was extremely boring for our dog. She made her dogs do a down stay for the full hour on the hard floor. About halfway through, her shepherd decided he was tired of that and got up, so she stopped the class and walked over to him. He then started crouching down, his head went down, and his tail went between his legs, she got to him, she gave her prong collar a hard tug downward with the leash, which I'm sure didn't feel very nice, and then when he still didn't lie down, she did it again. Clearly her dog is not trained without a prong collar as that was her only method she used for training. Anyone looking for a rude trainer, a prong collar, and a boring, pricey class should go here!!

Speaking specifically to the dog obedience videos, they were great. Easy to access the training from home and even when we were out with Charlie (our golden) when we needed them. We were able to get him to stop pulling and to walk nicely on leash. We were even able to get him to stop the excessive barking at everything that went by!

Whether it was crate training, introduction to leash training, basic obedience, mouthing/nipping, jumping or housebreaking; they covered all the areas with great professionalism that worked for our busy schedule.

Effective dog training lessons, great trainer, easy to follow and understand. Fun to build towards the obedience and keep learning more. Amazing what changes can happen when you practice the obedience classes, exercise, behavior shaping, and commit to positive dog training methods!

My experience with Niagara Dog Training was fantastic! I have 2 older dogs, who came to live with me with their various issues. One was aggressive and the other was very hyper. Our trainer, Liz was terrific. She helped me to understand my dogs' behaviours and geared our training sesssions to their specific behaviours. I also loved the detailed report I received after each session which had tips, and ideas on how to reinforce the behaviours I wanted. We are not done our sessions yet, but I see a huge improvement in how I handle them and how they behaviour. Thank you LIz for all your help and support with Jaks and Pepper - the sessions were worth every penny. I can't wait for our next session.
