I was able to reschedule my road test to a much earlier date. And Isaac was able to accomodate me with just two days’ notice. Although I am an experienced driver (from the Philippines), I was still uncertain about passing the road test. But Isaac helped me prepare mentally and skill-wise. The parking practice was most helpful. It helped me hone my skill, and it gave me an idea of how the actual test would go. I also drove around for a little over an hour, while Isaac gave me feedback and tips. The time went by so fast coz I enjoyed our conversation as well. Finally, the time for the road test came. I have always been scared to drive as there were quite many car accidents that I have been to while being a passenger. After many years of hesitation, I finally decided to learn how to drive. My instructor was Isaac, and it was the best experience. With him I have gone from not knowing how to steer the wheel properly to passing the road test from the first attempt! It took a while, but Isaac was always helpful, professional and patient. He doesn't yell or react in a mean way like some other instructors I have taken classes with. He knows what your weaknesses are after several classes and tries to focus on them so you are ready for the test. I took the lessons on automatic transition to learn how car moves and how to ''feel'' the car. They will take you in quiet spot, allow you to adjust to the car and your surroundings and then you will go for some ride around, where you will be repeating similar movements, that way you can learn without being overwhelmed by new surroundings. Patient, non-aggressive, calm - manner teacher. I took few 1,5 h lessons and then tried to learn manual transition myself, these first lessons helped me tremendously to be less stressed...I passed my road test on first try!

Tons of driving packages you can purchase if you're organized like that. Makes sure that you are completely comfortable behind the wheel. So amazing that he taught me to parallel park the morning of my test and I nailed it on the first try. He took me to my road test and made sure that I knew what to expect, even gave me tips where they may trip you up in the beginning. I would recommend his services to anyone in a heartbeat. I never thought I would be able to drive (30s, anxiety, and epilepsy) and he made me realize that almost anyone can do it.

Issac and his team are the best I have come across in Winnipeg. After trying different schools with instructors ranging from ones who swear and shout to ones who destroy your very will to drive, Road Ready was a welcome change. Issac is the ideal teacher that anyone wishes for, patient and composed even under trying circumstances that novice drivers like me subject him to. His other instructors are equally good, like Tim who is a certified Driver Ed instructor and puts up a good competition for being the best. If you are looking for composed, well mannered driving instructors with very good knowledge of the rules, look no further, this is the easiest choice. They won’t yell at you or get frustrated when you make mistakes. Getting through the test is completely on you but they will just make sure that you are prepared for it in the kindest way possible. I would strongly recommend them to anyone who is upset with the dehumanizing way that some instructors treat their students.

I took a few classes with Issac, and with his guidance I was able to pass the test. Something I never imagined I could do until I met him. He identifies the critical errors that could cause one to fail the test, and focuses on resolving them. Alongside, he also works on minimizing the number of general errors. Not only that, he provides general tips on how to drive safe in day-to-day life. With his support, I passed the test with just two general errors (one I could have easily avoided and another the examiner could have left off). Hi! I want to share my experience. I had a driving test booked on Monday, so I scheduled driving lesson with one instructor in this area on previous Friday. On Friday I got message just one hour before the lesson that he couldn’t make it. I was very disappointed because the weather wasn’t good for driving (there were a lot of snow on the roads) and I had just Saturday and Sunday left before my test. I reached Isaac and he managed to find a spot for me on Sunday . He was on time and did everything to make me feel confident and ready for the upcoming test. I highly recommend him. Thank you Isaac.

Guy was on time, and seems like a solid dude. However, most mistakes were pointed out as "that would make you fail, that would be an automatic fail". I don't mind having mistakes pointed out, and I an not an expert. It's why I'm taking lessons. At one point I nicely asked he please just tell me I'm making a mistake, instead of pointing it out as a fail, since I know I'm nowhere near ready for the test. He made a big deal about how I was "offended", simply for pointing out my preference, calmly, after he did it many times. I also had issues with the instructor using the passenger side brake when there was no need, and lurching forward and reaching for the wheel when I wasn't turning fast enough. Ultimately, if you are actually ready to take the test, and want criticism to make sure you're set, by all means go here. If you're new, maybe find someone else.

I consider myself very lucky to find Road Ready driving school right after my arrival in Winnipeg from Moscow. At first, I took several lessons to get used to local driving rules and conditions, and later several more to prepare myself to a road test which I passed successfully. Isaak is an exсellent instructor, very professional, patient and friendly. He makes sure that you get all the skills needed to drive with confidence, and that you know exactly what to do in any situation which may appear on the road.
